- I have been a language teacher (ESL/ELL, French) for 30 years. I have taught in public and private schools, immersion programs, refugee programs, adult/continuing education, elementary, middle, and high school as well as university. Currently I teach ELL at a high school somewhere in New England.
As we approach 2021, people are predicting what may lie ahead .Regarding prediction there's a mixed bag of idea, imagination, destiny. Most People expected their destiny to alleviate their grief. I can say for certain. 2020 is acknowledged as one of the worst years ever to exist.People can barely accept the veracity.The continuous event made people lose the one they cherish,which led to a more unpleasant reputation of 2020 This inevitable year did change many people's aspects of general thought especially society. Regarding 2020, in my home country, Bangkok. Society particularly students are declaring their right and freedom. Intimidation from the government makes this to a major event. This situation I assume will be a turning point of thai humanity. To conclude, people simply want 2021 to be a settling year.
ReplyDelete2020 is a particularly fast year that I have experienced for the first time. There have been many things happening this year. People are immersed in a state of tension and loss. Because of the impact of the new crown epidemic, the whole world is in trouble. There is no war that concerns all mankind without gunpowder. As we grow up in the constant struggle, mankind will become stronger as a result. I only hope that 2021 can be passed without incident.
ReplyDeleteIn my personal opinion, I think our society's future will be bad in particularly the economy and atmosphere of most country. Because now as how the Corona virus going we obviously can see its infection is increasing. Also since people are not able to go out to play and hangout with people, their motivation to work is going to be weak. These are the reasons why even though it is 2021 the economy will be in economy panic.

ReplyDelete2020 can be said to be a very fast year. This year, there was an outbreak of the epidemic. Many, many things added together, it feels very fast. In 2021, I will leapfrog my studies to reach a better place, change my study plan, people in society, transform the decline of the new crown virus, and start working hard. Maybe the temperature and weather will gradually improve. I very much look forward to 2021, the epidemic in China will also transform the continuous improvement of drugs in 2021.
I think this year will be better version of the last year.When I say that,I think coronavirus will continue to be topic number one in the world's media and news.We could expect decreasing in number of newly infected and I think people are going to be more relaxed about virus.At the end,I’m not optimistic that this year will be much better than last one,but I hope it will be safer.
ReplyDeleteI really hope 2021 will be at least a little bit better than 2020. Not only because of Covid but also socially, economically... Although I know it is not going to be the best year, I have hope that a lot of things will change for the better. As every year there are going to be ups and downs and I feel that everything we lived in 2020 will help us in this and future years.
ReplyDeleteI hope corova pandemic end as soon as possible. Also, I want everyone to get a coronal vaccine. Even if the corona doesn't end, I hope people don't get it anymore.

DeleteWhen 2021 approach, I want Covid-19 pandemic will end very soon life will go back to normal. But i think pandemic will continued until late 2021 when everyone can access to Covid-19 vaccine. Also, the world will recovery not for long time. Even pandemic continued this year but it still better than 2020.

DeleteNowadays new type of coronavirus was founded in many countries. I think more people will get coronavirus even though people take care. I hope corona pandemic ends as soon as possible. Some people lose their jobs because of COVID. People like this will increase. But, I believe that normal life will return. So we need to be more careful than before. I hope 2021 will be better than 2020.
ReplyDeleteAs the coronavirus becomes more and more severe, people stay at home. The Corona era should end quickly and allow people to move around safely.
ReplyDeleteHowever, people go to clubs and restaurants without masks, which makes the infection worse. People should know the seriousness of the problem and be careful. I can't wait for the corona to end. I hope 2021 is better than 2020.
Due to covid19 pandemic, stock market is activating briskly. I hope stocks are keep trading briskly in 2021. A brisk stock market makes stock prices increase. The economical activity is limited in offline due to pandemic, so stock market could be a perfect place to do economical activity in offline. My family include me have earned money more than my father's average annual salary. I hope more peoples come into stock market, and do some economic activities -CHAEWOO CHA-
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, the most hopeful thing in 2021 is that people will use the covid-19 vaccine so that the virus will end. In this way, you can return to China during the 2021 holiday. The world will not be so chaotic. The Olympic Games postponed in 2020 can also be held in 2021. The number of unemployed people also increased to find jobs earlier. I just hope that the new 2021 will not be too bad
ReplyDeleteAs we all know 2020 was Awful but I hope 2021 would be better since I am only 16my future could change a lot I hope it is good maybe I’ll be a businessman in the future for humanity’s future I believe it’s going to be pretty good But if we keep on having conflict around the world it’s not going to be good
ReplyDeleteEveryone knows that 2020 was a terrible year, esspecially the Covid-19, which make our life change a lot. I hope that our life will turn normal after we all have vaccine for Covid-19. And I want that I will have a good studying in 2020-2021 school year
ReplyDeleteI expect the epidemic to improve by the end of 2021. I look at the pessimistic (maybe) future with an optimistic attitude. Our country's economy has suffered a huge blow, many small and medium-sized enterprises have closed down, the number of unemployed people has increased, and the form of our country's diplomacy is not optimistic, but the epidemic is still under control. I predict that mankind will try to revive the world economy which has been badly damaged.

ReplyDeleteWhat I think is that people have too many expectations in 2021, that 2020 has gone wrong does not mean that 2021 will be better. But I do believe that little by little humanity will improve, not only my country or the USA, I mean the whole world.
