Journal Question #16

Spring is a short season in Maine.  Winter's finally over, and summer's coming.  Spring can be cold, wet, and muddy, but also unexpectedly hot and sunny.  The earth changes, of course, and so do people.  What do you like about spring?  Enumerate three aspects of spring that you most enjoy, and maybe one part of spring you don't like.

A  lot of you mentioned sports as an important part of your ideal school (Journal 14).  Let's explore this topic further.  Why should sports be part of school?  What do sports do for you, besides giving you exercise: Do they make you a better person?  How?  What if a student doesn't like sports - should he be made to take a sport?  Is there a problem if a school is too sports-obsessed?
