Beauty is a universal virtue: everyone is attracted to beauty, and most people want to be beautiful. Beauty is associated with youth - the younger you are, the more beautiful you are, and the older you get, the less beautiful. At least, that's the common view. How do you define beauty? Do you want to be beautiful? Do you want to be friends with, or loved by, beautiful people? How important is beauty to you?

- I have been a language teacher (ESL/ELL, French) for 30 years. I have taught in public and private schools, immersion programs, refugee programs, adult/continuing education, elementary, middle, and high school as well as university. Currently I teach ELL at a high school somewhere in New England.
Well, I think beauty is very diverse, I mean for my best friend is beautiful one person and for me that person is ugly and another person that my friend think is ugly for me is beautiful. And about the youth is same as the other thing for me the most attractive people have +30, I don’t find attractive people of my age ore a little bit older, and everyone is beautiful in his own way, if all of us were beautiful as the stereotypical beautiful person, the world would be so boring.

Beauty is some what intriguing topic.What a lot of people wish to have. It sure make the person feel confident. Despite beauty, people have a different perspective on the word “beautiful”. For example,2 common meaning of beauty :beautiful outside look and beautiful inside.

For me, being friends with beautiful/good looking doesn’t concern me. As for me, I prefer people that are ‘beautiful” inside because that what make me comfortable. In my opinion,being beauty on the outside doesn’t define you as an attactive person.
I don't think beauty is very important. When I communicate or hang out with my friends, I look at the other person's mind rather than face like beauty. I don't really care if they are not too ugly.If one person is pretty but doesn't have similar mind with me, that person makes me uncomfortable. But when I'm with someone who has a similar mind, it can make myself comfortable and become very close to that person.

DeleteI would define beauty as something that can’t last forever.I think inside beauty is more important than how someone looks from the outside.When I want to meet someone,I don't look at whether he or she is beautiful or not.I don’t care if my friends are beautiful or not ,for me the most important thing is whether he or she is a good person or not.
ReplyDeleteI think beauty comes from the inside. Everyone looks at the appearance rather than the inside. The good-looking skin bags are the same, and the interesting soul is one in a thousand. Only inner beauty can maintain the relationship in life for a long time.

Example that my brother thinks my friend is ugly but I think she is beautiful. it’s changes for a person everyone is beautiful for there self.I know people that is not beautiful from outside but inside they are cute kind and lovely persons this is the most important thing for a person.
ReplyDeleteI think beauty is controversial topic because beauty is different each person. It’s different that what things people think beautiful. I don’t not really want to be loved by beautiful people and to be friends with beautiful people. I think their heart is the most important. I think many people could be beautiful. Some people originally have beauty when they are born. But most people don’t have when they are born. I think beauty is not thing that is not absolutely necessary.
ReplyDeleteI think beauty is important to everyone, everyone likes beautiful people or objects. But the inside beauty, which means someone's personalities as well as something's quality, is much more important. So for me, being beautiful outside is good, but the inside beauty is more important. We can not choose our appearance (we can change it somehow but not completely perfect), but we can really control how we behave with people.
ReplyDeleteI think beauty is an abstract thing as everyone has a different opinion. But it is true that there are some people that everyone thinks are beautiful because of the standard beauty.
ReplyDeleteI don’t think beauty is something we should wish to have as it is not everything and we cannot change it. Rather than trying to change us we should accept how we are and love ourselves.
When you are friends with someone you look at how their personalities are instead of how they look, because if not it would be a fake relationship.
I can define beauty to powerful weapon. Cause in our society, person's own ability is important, but in my opinion, person's impression is most important part. Let's imagine, there are two different women who has same ability at work. But, one woman is much beautiful than other. Then who will you pick? I'm pretty sure that 99% of peoples will pick beautiful woman. So, beauty is powerful weapon in our society to get a job or get some chance. So, If I have a chance to get a beauty, I'll take that chance.

ReplyDeleteBeauty is very general society decides who is pretty and who is not but everyone have their own opinion, my point of view is that beauty not only depends is a face or in a body, for me everyone is different and none is beautiful or ugly what makes the difference is personality they way of talking, the way of acting and the most important one, the way of thinking
For me there are two kind of beauty in physically and mentally I think mentally is much more Important physically And I don’t care about Beauties I don’t care my friend whether beautiful or not physically Because it doesn’t mean anything The only thing I care is mentally beautiful
ReplyDeleteBeauty is very important because people judge other people with their appearance first before know about him or her. And the first impression mostly remain until the end. But the attractive beauty is depending on what people think. So we can't say which is the beautiful person or not. Also in my opinion personality is the best element to be friend or boyfriend, girlfriend. As a result beauty is important but it can be exactly described.

In my opinion, beauty is very important part of person, because first appearance of person is really important to judge people. That is the reason why people try to buy cool clothes and make up themselves. As a result, lots of people prefer who looks handsome and beautiful. That is the reason why I think beautiful is important.
