- I have been a language teacher (ESL/ELL, French) for 30 years. I have taught in public and private schools, immersion programs, refugee programs, adult/continuing education, elementary, middle, and high school as well as university. Currently I teach ELL at a high school somewhere in New England.
My opinion is getting good grades because you can have many friend but when you need money you can’t always ask for their money if you can have a nice job your problem will be solve easier
ReplyDeleteIn my view, having a good grade is important.Because you will have a opportunity for better jobs and get some money to take care yourself and your family. Also, you cannot always ask to help or borrow something of your friends.

Making good friends is more important than getting better grades. School is the place we study but also it is the place that can make improve our socializing skills. We can tell, school is small society. Since we have to live with another person, Improve our socializing skills is more important than get better grades. You have to have good relationship even though you are smart.
ReplyDeleteMy opinion is that both are important but school is more important. Friends you are going get in school or in your activities. It's better study hard now so you don't regret your decisitions after when you graduate from school.

ReplyDeleteI think both of them are really important. But I think being a part of community is more important than getting good grades. School is a place where we can learn a lot of knowledge but it’s also the place where we can experience society with many people including teachers and friends. You can always improve your grades if you try hard. But if you don’t have good relationship with others, maybe you will not want to go to school. We have to live together with others until we die. We have to focus on keeping good relationship and being kind more than getting good grades.
ReplyDeleteI think making good friend is more important than getting good grades. Getting good grades are important too but making good friends is very important. It’s because making good friends will be upgrade my social life and we can help each other when we are in trouble or something bad things are happen.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, making friends is more useful than getting good grades when we work or in the university. On the one hand, if you can’t make friends or talking to your friends, you may feel lonely in your life. On the other hands, if you make more friends, you just is so sociable and it is good for your working, especially, your life, because when you sad or happy, you can share it to your friends and they may help you solve it or happy together——if you let other people happy, you will be happier, so that I think making friends is more important than getting good grades.
ReplyDeleteMaking friends is also important to learn. Both are indispensable. Nowadays, without friends, you can't stand on your feet, nor can you find a better job without achievements. So we can't miss one of them. First, you need to adjust your mind. Making friends doesn't waste a lot of time. Making friends can learn together and share their thoughts, no matter whether their grades are good or bad. It doesn't matter. The result is not good. You can change him. Good grades, you can learn from each other.

DeleteI think they are both really important things but in my personal opinion friends are more important because you can really enjoy a lot of different moments in different places not just in school and get to know how others think and act. I’m not saying that grades are not important because they are grades can help you calculate your knowledge academically speaking but you can learn about life with good friends.

If you grow up without friends is going to be a lot more difficult for the person to get a good job because if you don’t have friends, you don’t know how to behave with new people. Also good friends will always help you with important things.
ReplyDeleteI think rial friends are more important, they can help you in everything you need, also you can learn with them, you can hang out with them, enjoy with them. You can do whatever you like with your friends but in the other hand also the studies are good because they give you a future, they give you knowledge and they make you a more disciplined person.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion what matters most are friends, we live in a society that only cares about which university we come from or if we have a master's degree or even a doctorate we believe that a qualification defines us when we really should ,we worry about who we're going to spend the rest of our lives with whom we're going to share memories or who we're going to raise our family with.

DeleteI think is good to have friends and have good references but at the same time you have to focus in study and learn because from that is what your going to live and your future you could enter to the university without knowing anything that’s why I say learn and study are one of the more important facts.

And making good grades is not the same as getting more money or getting a better job, because the jobs are not dependent on your grade but your ability about all the things including your social contact.

ReplyDeleteHaving good grades is good because we all come to learn her so having a good grade has a big value for me if we have good grade we can have friends.when we have good grade we can invite good college after that good job and be rich and if you have many friends you don’t steady.but having friends is good after having good grade.
I think the two are equally important, but if I have to choose one, I prefer to make friends because I think that although the results are important, life and work after graduation may not be used, but friends are different. Some good friends can get some help when necessary, and even affect future life.

Friends are the one who will add colors to your life. With friends your life will be more interesting. A life without friend will be really boring.
For me having good grades olso having friend is very important but if I need to chose one I will chose having friends because friend they can help you with everything in life end they can olso help white the grades . Having a good social life is important
