- I have been a language teacher (ESL/ELL, French) for 30 years. I have taught in public and private schools, immersion programs, refugee programs, adult/continuing education, elementary, middle, and high school as well as university. Currently I teach ELL at a high school somewhere in New England.
We must pay attention to whales, and as whales have no children, there will be no future generations. This shows that whales will be less and less, whales are getting closer to extinction. If the whales are extinct, the consequences are unpredictable. The food chain is nature's most important, and we humans are the highest consumers. Although I am not sure if the whales extinction which animals will be more, anyway, there will certainly be more and more animals, leading to ecological imbalance, the last result is that humans will be extinct. It may be that human extinction will not be as fast as I say, but if we are not concerned about the balance of nature's ecology, human extinction is beyond our control. From the standpoint of ecological balance, human extinction and animal extinction, I think humans must pay attention to whales.
ReplyDeleteFor the environment in today, it`s a disaster to see any species go extinct, right whales is not the exception, we must care about every species on the earth, because it`s also protect us from extinction, we can`t live alone. Right whales, like other living things in the world, is a part of the ecosystem on the earth,for the system, if any parts gone, the system will lose it`s balance.

ReplyDeleteI think we should do something to help. The Earth is shared by us human and other animals. There’s an old saying that with great power it comes great responsibility. As we are on the top of the food chain, we are strong enough to not only fit our own species into the environment but also avilable to effect the environment. As there won’t be anyone else to do the job, we should try our best to help every endangered animals.
I think we should care about right whales and make their specie number back to normal. All the animals in the earth have equal right to live a free life. But nowadays right whales’ lives are threatened by fishing and ship lines also the warming ocean waters. And those reasons I mentioned above are caused by human. We need to show our responsibility to them. In other way, saving right whales can maintain the diversity of earth species. It is not only beneficial to the earth, but also to human beings.

ReplyDeleteIn my opinions, we should care about the right whales. There were a lot of right whales before 18 century. However, as human started to hunt them, the ammont of them decreased rapidly. Around 30,000 right whales got catch during the 19 centry , the activity of human also destroyed the enviroment the of area they live. Now, there are only around 1,000 right whales left. In another words, the major reason that lead the right whales becoming dangerous is human. Since that, I think we have the responsibility to care about them. What’s more, our environment has a ability to keep the ecological balance. But this ability is limited, if we brake the balance of the ecological by killing too many animals, the ecological will crash and we will take the consequences of what we did in the end. So I think we should care about the right whales and try to save them.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion the animal should be helped by human. Because the animals and human are friends . We both live in the earth. And the environment is very complex, every kind of specie connect the whole food chain. Human have the ability to help them, so we can provide a safety environment to reduce the nature trouble.
ReplyDeleteThere is no a doubt that some creatures extinct by environmental change from human. But in my opinion, human have a responsibility to protect the whales, actually other animals. The earth is not only belong to humans. Whale is really ancient mammal in the earth, it is much more older than human appear in the earth. Nowadays people can decide a fate of a kind of animal really easy. However we should respect to other animals in the world. We should help them like help our people.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, we need save the whales, but doesn’t means we should keep them in the water park. The best plant to save the whales is to stop to kill them and let them live in the wild which is the place they like to live. Other things is our cannot contral except do not kill them.
ReplyDeleteWe don't care other species unless they are cute. As the homo, we started the very first purge of the animal kingdom about million years ago. We already made 75% animal disappear from the history. Nowadays, the animal survives, or you can say we have chosen. That is the animal can bring benefit to us. Such as sheep can give us wool; cow can give us milk; donkey used be our productivity tools. And we are protecting panda because they are cute. So as for right whales, most of us don't know them, we don't know what they look like. Maybe we should change our actions to protect right whales.
ReplyDeleteI think we definitely should keep population of whales stable, or even make it actually increase. Before the times when people started hunting whales for fat, there were a lot of whales, that were living in the oceans, and what most important - eating plankton. This “food chain” worked as a balance process for the environment - there was enough of whales and enough of plankton.
ReplyDeleteIf we will not care and kill remaining amount of whales, we might break the food chain, and cause plankton to multiply a lot, which might result in extinction or multiplying of other species like predators.
We need to take care of this problem because all the ecosystems are connected if this whales get extinct the hole food chain can change and the water will fill of phytoplankton because their predator is extinct and I think humans as the dominant species have the obligation to help animals survive
ReplyDeleteToday, animals are gradually extinct. 100 is a very small number of right whales. We need to protect and stop fishing them before they’re all disappearing. Right whales help a lot for the scenery, the environment and the beauty of the country. We should make other people know about this, and take care of these endangered animal.

ReplyDeleteI think we should definitely care about the right whales. We should care about all kinds of animals. They are rare species and they are so pretty. It would be a pity to lose that kind of beautiful animals. Some of those animals like right whales exist even longer than humans. We should respect and protect them instead of capturing and selling them. Human is not the owner of the world, we are also a kind of animals. Those animals are like our sisters and brothers but just don’t look the same as us. We also share natural resources with them. Now their species extinctions might happen and it is kind of our fault. We should help and protect them from danger and care more about the species.
ReplyDeleteWe should care a lot about the right whales because they are an endangered species. If they died it could effect a lot of other sea animals in the food chain. Extinction is vary sad and is a huge problem in today society. Also we are partly responsible for their extinction so I think it should be our responsibility to help seve them.
ReplyDeleteThe loss caused by the extinction of an animal species not only manifests itself in the loss of the animals themselves. Although we may think that the animal world is independent of our world, human and animal life are closely related. We are inextricably linked with them. Plants, animals, humans, and the environment together make up a biome - an ecosystem - where all parts of the community depend on each other. If one part of such a community is out of balance or extinct, the entire system will suffer.
ReplyDeleteWe absolutely need to care about right whales. Whales can help provide oxygen, combat climate change and sustain fish stocks. They play such a important role in the marine ecosystem, but some human activities polluted their habitats and some people hunted many whales and these thing lead to the danger of right whales. So there is no doubt that we should try our best to protect them. Every species are the members of the ecosystem, we connect each other by food chain. If the right whales extinct, it will affect the balance of the ecosystem and human will be definitely influenced.

ReplyDeleteWe don't have to protect those right whale. From the first life that appeared on earth, to modern age, life evolved in different forms. There are countless species in the nature. Through thousands of years, some of them abandoned their old features to adapt new environments. Others disappear through the ages. There are many species disappeared through this process. Because of the development of the modern human civilization. The environment is heavily affected by human. Some of the species find out a way to live with human, even in the cities. Right whale is nothing but another specie that going through this process. Survival of the fittest is the rule of the nature. We can't stop every endangered species from disappearing. We can’t reverse this process and against the laws of nature.
ReplyDeleteIn my point of view, it is really necessary to take a good care of right whales. There is only about 100 right whales left in the world so we really need to save and protect them. Right whales is one of the species which make up diversified animals and animals keep disappearing due to global warming and hunting. We should protect them insteaf of hunting them.
ReplyDeleteI think everyone should take care of the Right whales. In my opinions, There were a lot of right whales before, but due to human started to hunt them, the amount of them decreased rapidly. The human use their Whale oil to make a big money. They sell it to other people and take advantage from them. So I think the key of stopping hunting the whales is stop trading anymore. Everyone should stop buying the thing using apart of whalers.
ReplyDeleteWe should pay attention to whales because it is related to the ecological balance of nature. The destruction of an animal’s absolute food chain can have a big impact, and the ecological balance can be disrupted. The reduction of whales will increase other species and may also endanger our lives. And nature is our ecological place. We should protect it. The extinction of species will destroy it. I think we should not only pay attention to them but also protect them and other species to maintain the ecological balance.

ReplyDeleteAbout 300 North Atlantic right whales remain, making them one of the most endangered species. Consequently, Many people think that we should protect the extinct animals, just like right whales for the environment. However, in my opinion, I don't think they will affect our lives. Of course, I could not deny some of the animals is important. For examples, ”bee” is one of them, but there still are some animals like dinosaurs which are purposeless to us. The survival of fittest is the rule of the game.

In my opinion, We must protect the whales as a human being. Nowadays, the whales is in danger. Because many countries kill them for different use, they are dying out. To protect our earth and ocean, especially the diversity of creatures. we must realize that we should take effective measures to protect them. If the whales died out, it would have an important influence on other animals in the sea. Also, the environment will be changed. I sincerely hope that we can make our effort to save them!
In my opinion we should care and protect the whales because is a specie that we need for the development of other species and if we dont care about the whales they are going to be in exctintion soon and that is not going to be good fot the nature balance, thats why we should care and help them
ReplyDeleteI think we must care about right whales. Data display that whales didn’t had babies last year, and getting fewer and fewer, that’s a bad phenomenon. We have to protect the right whales. Everyone knows that the food chain is important, and humans are at the top of the food chain. Therefore, the extinction of any organism in the food chain will have some impact on the entire food chain, and it will have some impacts on humans.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, animals are just like people, they also need freedom to live, so that we need to care about these whales, especially they're in danger. To the information of the data shown above, it is said that whales didn't produce any species last year. This is a warning to human being. Imagine if humans is being placed into whales place, would we be happy to be extinct? Overall, I think we should pay attention to the whales.

ReplyDeleteIn my opinion I think that we should care about the whales because they are an important organism in their environment, we need to stop killing them because they don’t deserve it, they deserve to live because they are so helpful in the ocean. Their exctintion affect the nature balance, and because they are not producing baby’s I think is because they don’t feel comfortable in their environment and that’s because the humans, we need to think and take care of that.
In my opinion, we must hurry to appeal to people to protect the whales and not to hunt whales. The number of whales is decreasing year by year. If people continue to kill whales in large numbers, whales will soon be extinct in the near future. It is indispensable in the ecological cycle of nature. If the whales are extinguished, the species eaten by the whales will multiply and bring about incalculable harm. So people are advised not to spend money on the whales, because there are no buying and selling to buy and kill.

We should care about the right whales, because nowadays the environmental pollution is severe and some businessmen uses the right whales to get the profit. Also, it showed less than 100 females are alive which means it is so hard to have babies. We should have them and have to protect them because we should let our descendants know what the right whales looks like not just from the book.

We should care more about the whales that are in extinction because one day they are not gonna exist anymore and we are not gonna see another one.
I think we need to take are of them. We need to take action right now. If we don’t do anything they will just extinction. Human and animals live in earth together. We need to have our own response. We can not see a animal just disappear in front of our eyes. There will be nothing serious happen if they disappear. But it is not a thing. It means that we can not see it anymore. By the way we should never break the ecological imbalance of the nature. It is very important to the earth. The break of the ecological imbalance will bring a ecological disaster to the earth, and it will hundred presently impact us. Although I don’t think a extinction of a type of whales will have that big impact. But we still can not let in extinct.

ReplyDeleteI think everyone should care about right whales, we should stop hunting them for our own good. If we stop the tread, there will have less hurting. I think if we want protect them don’t let them disperse in this plane we also need to protect our environment, because this is their home too. Human always do not care about them, until the species are starting to become extinct, they finally started to realize that how important they are, I think that is kind of late. Now we need start care everting is in our big “home”, they are human’s friends, we have responsibilities for them.

ReplyDeleteWhale has always been a friend of mankind and it is also an important part of the marine ecosystem. Protecting whales and maintains ecological balance are not only related to the survival and development of human beings, but also an important symbol of balancing the progress of civilization in a country and the world. In my opinion, it is important for us to realize how important of whales to us. Whales are not part of the human food chain. We don't have to eat whales for survival. Whales have lived on Earth for thousands of years. Whales also play an important role in the study of biological history. Killing whales is a meaningless, cruel act. We should try our best to protect whale and make the Earth much better.

Although the right whale of extinction not directly affect human life, the loss of a part of the food chain will naturally change. We need to protect the marine environment and do not discharge industrial waste into the seawe need to protect the whales. In order to let future people see beautiful whale, they spray water on their heads. Ecosystem is a huge system with a lots of organisms. The right whales just one of them. There won’t in many troubles if we lost them. Unlike regular animals; they are hurting for food, for their lives. But people hurting animals not only for food, but also for appetite. If right whales have value for people. They will protect them.

In every new period, some creatures on this planet are not strong like they are before, some of these creatures are not adapted to the environment anymore, as long as whales that are in this situation. Since they are endangered and unadapted, it’s just they don’t belong to the environment anymore…so there are nothing we should do about to save the; but since humans have been damaging this planet, this far, it’s actually a case for us, so cause of we done of that, we should save and care about of the right whales, in order don’t let them die from our damages.

ReplyDeleteWe should protect animals, but I think that in addition to protecting animals, the natural environment should be protected. If we cut down all the trees in the forest, what do these small animals rely on to survive? I think there are many animals that are facing extinction. There should be two major problems. One problem is that their living environment has suffered a great disaster. The second is that people are killing many rare animals and putting them into Fur made clothes. However, it is an offence to wear expensive animal fur clothes legally. However, I still have an idea that in the world, there is a saying in the food chain. Therefore, it is normal for us to eat some animal flesh.

People can collect money,or government can give money for this,people can make a special corral, they can catch a few and make everything for this life. I think government should make some plan to protect them. Animals are also a member of creature in the world like human so there is our responsibility to take care of them. People should treat these animals like trear their friends. Some related departments can hlep them to make a baby and make a suitable environment for them. Their existence will make our world better.
ReplyDeleteOf course we should take care of whales, because the whales are dying because of human and not caring of their death is not right. We made global warming not only whales are dying also polar bears are dying because they don't have ices to live. About the fishing lines we should make a law of that fishing law makes a lot of harmful things to earth it is all turning to trash around the ocean. If we don't have whales anymore the ecosystem will collapse because if one of species is gone there will be no predator so it will make a lot of confusion of ecosystem.
ReplyDeleteWe should be concerned about whales because if people continue to hunt whales they will kill them, and if the whales go extinct our children will have to look at the pictures to see what kind of animal they are. And our world has a biosphere. Once the whales are extinct, the biosphere is no longer in balance, and the other species loses its natural predators and leads to overgrowth. So we should focus on whales.
ReplyDeleteThis problem is also a question i always ask to my self. In the history people have recorded there are already a lot of animals have been disappear from the earth, it is actually no matter for people, but a main reason about why these animals die out is because of human. Human's activity sometimes broke some animals' living condition and direct or indirect causes of them extinction. So to be honest, i think people should take more care about the endangered species not only the right whale, people should to protect there living area. The earth is not only human's home, but also the home for many other animals.

Now a days human need to pay all the responsibilities those animals. They disappear not becasue of nature, it's because of human so we need protect them. Protect the right way of the nature.
