Yes, I know the MLK, because he is one of the most important Americans of the 20th century, he also leads the civil true movements which helped Blacks in this country again rights and

great and famous speaker, he saves many homeless people and
some people who don't have money and relatives. He was killed
in 1968 by a racist in Memphis. I also know some famous people.
For example, barack obama, abraham lincoln.....This people are both leading the right movements. lincoln pursuant to the War Powers Resolution, must authorize any troop deployments longer than 60 days, although that process relies on triggering mechanisms that have never been employed, rendering it ineffectual.Now, I think everyone should respect other people, and then we also can continue the fight against prejudice and racial discrimination.
I knew the name MLK from Voice of America. He is one of the most important leader in the African-American civil rights movement. What's more, he had received the Nobel Peace prize. He had given a very famous speech: I have a dream. He's a brilliant, brave, prominent,selfless person, who deserves us to memorize.
ReplyDeleteThough there' re a lot of people who have made the world better, we can't deny that most of the comment they have gotten are positive. I think MLK is one of the little amount of people, who earn everybody's respect.(except people agree with racism.)
One another person who I respect is Gandhi.He is a prominent leader in India,who fought for the rights of Indian.
The racism exists nowadays . People need to work harder for making a fair world.

I did remember when I was little , I have read I speech which name is I have a dream! I want to say it makes me cry . There are two black persons who make me feel respect :one of them is ML.K, other one is Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela .
ReplyDeletePeople always hope that we have a fair world . In fact, many people still suffer unfair treatment in the world. And a large proportion of these people just eat humble pie. But there still have some idealistic people~ They try to made the world better, and never give up . Maybe some people think they are wrong , they can't succeed .But they still believe in themselves. They have a strong belief ! I know I cannot do something like them , but I also hope I can have a strong heart!!

In 1976 Jobs and friends founded Apple computer company, he accompanied the apple decades of ups and downs and Renaissance. He is affectionately known as" the godfather of apple". But the unfortunate thing happened in Beijing in October 6, 2011, he depart from the world for ever, at the age of 56.
ReplyDeleteI have learned an article about MLK before in China, the article praises about his achievement. His “I have a dream” gives a lot of blacks new hopes and really expresses us. He deserves our memorize and respect, which is a really important leader in the Americans history or world history. There are a lot of people who changed the world in positive ways. I really adore a really famous scientist- Einstein. His inventations provide us a more convient and better life quality. He is memorable in the long history and earns our respect.

When I was in China, I have learned a article about Martin Luther King from our English textbooks. It talked about what the people response and said when they heard MLK was murdered. And told us how great and influential MLK was. He was the savior of black people and also a hero in the world. He had won over rights for black people and poor people.

ReplyDeleteWhen someone first mention Martin Luther King, the first picture in my brain he is a great politician , thinkers, and a revolution progress activists. MLK is very famous in the world, i knew him since i am only 8 or 9 years old. His famous speech touched so many American Black populations' heart and his motions are promote the American Black people stand out and ask the government for their civil rights and benefits. He is a great thinker i called MLK is a dreamer, in his speech the most famous sentence is" I have a dream..." He wants the black and white people can be treated fair, and he wants to the Black and white people can really adjust each others and be a part of the US big family. His speechs are already changed American Civil rights and laws. No matter when he died and how he die, the wealth that is left by MLK would never be forget and disappear. His ideas and the progressive movements are affects today, and they also will inspire and influence to the future. We proud of him.

MLK is really famous all over the world.His speech was very exciting and also affected the relationship between black people and white people. He wanted that all men are created equal. The most famous sentence I remembered and will never forget is "I have a dream." He was really a hero in my heart.
ReplyDeleteIn Addition, the most hero I think in China is Mao Tse-tung. He was a Chinese Communist revolutionary, guerrilla warfare strategist, Marxist political philosopher, and leader of the Chinese Revolution. He was the father of the people's republic of China. Without Chairman Mao, there would be no new China. In this world, there are lots of hero give us peace, bright life. We should proud of them and feel honored to live under our countries.
I have learnt something about Martin Luther King from two article from my textbooks before I came to America.
ReplyDeleteOne is an English article about introducing Martin Luther King’s life. Martin used all of his time and energy on helping Blacks to get the equal rights. He had many prefect speeches around America, and he had received the Nobel Peace prize. He died in a too early time of his life, with sadness, shot by an assassin.
Another one is Chinese article about his most famous speech: I have a dream. I didn’t have any lessons about it, but I read it by myself. I couldn’t get a complete feeling about Martin Luther King at that time, the same as now. But I can feel his brave and strong soul, which desires a peacefuland equal world all the time. Although he has died, his heart never stop jumping, his soul is shining brighter and brighter. Martin Luther King is undead in people’s hearts.
Today, I have said many times of ”thanks” to Martin Luther King in my heart, the special day for him, a unforgetable person, only.
When I was very young in China, I heard Martin Luther King from a story book. From that time, I know MLK is a great leader and thinker. He led a famous movement for the Black people and helped them get freedom. Martin Luther King is now famous all over the world and he is admired by lots of black people. When I was about 14 or 15 rears old, I heard his famous speech. It made me exciting at that time. He died at a very little age. As we all know, he was killed by a white racist in a speech in Memphis with a lot of sadness. He has a great life by helping so many people. He is a memorable person and we should respect him.

He is a brave man. He led the civil rights movement with no fear to the white. In that period of time the black are treated unfairly. They were separated from the white and by the white. They even can not sit on the whites' seat on the buses! We can't tell a person good or not from his appearance! He successfully led this movement but disappointedly was killed by a white man. Every person in the USA are not native. Their ancestors are all immigrate from different countries so the white has no right to discriminate the blake.

That helped lots of black people gain their freedom and equal rights. He is a great thinker, speaker and leader. He successfully changed the thoughts of many white people to the black. And here from a book and website, I know he was shot by a white people in Memphis in 1968 when he only aged 39. He was one of the most important people in America and he got the Nobel Peace Prize for his work. He did a lot of work for peace and maybe that’s why we have a Memorial Day for him on January 16 when he was born.I think we should remember him forever.

Terrence, please do not compare MLK to Adolf Hitler! Hitler was among the most evil men to ever walk the earth - he put over 6 million people to death just because they weren't the right "race." MLK was a powerful force for good; he used nonviolence to achieve his goals. I could go on forever listing MLK's virtues. Hitler, however, was a tyrant, a monster, and the world would have been much better off without him.

He is a very honored person who really has changed American life in a good way. I entirely agree with him. In my opinion everyone must be respectful with people and everyone should treat people very well. It does not matter what kind of skin person has. In Russia we have a big problem with racial discrimination. In my country some people are frightened to go somewhere. I think we need more people who can change our life, we need people who can persuade people to do right things and if the people do that, the world and life would be marvelous. I really do not know the more peoplewho who changed our life in good ways. I think we can make our life better if there is no violence.
ReplyDeleteMartin Luther King, one of the most important people in American history. 100 years after lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation, the unfair treatment to the color people still existed especially to the black people. The dissatisfaction and unrest appeared in America especially in the south America. At this critical time , MLK and the other people who had the same opinion with MLK gathered at the Lincoln Memorial, and MLK delivered his famous speech--- I have a dream. He and his speech affected lots of Americans including black man, white man. This caused the people and government changed the opinion of the color people. MLK is very important in the history, if MLK didn’t appear, the whole American history even world history would be changed. Although the racial discrimination still exist , we know that we can fight with them by the low. And this problem is solved part of them. That’s the positive thing and the most valuable things that MLK left to us.

But I still can feel his desire on equality.He is one of the pivotal leaders of the American civil rights movement. His speeches have given so many thoughts to the younger ones and of course the old minded people, who are racist to the black one. Some people says his speeches He was not trying to just a famous black american or something. What he speeches is about is talking about the truth that everyone should have known from the start. That there are no different people in the world, there are only different minded people which caused all this racist problem. We are all equal from the very first minute of birth.

Martin Luther King, Jr was born Michael Luther King, Jr., but later had his name changed to Martin. In China, we already learn his story in class. His grandfather began the family's long tenure as pastors of the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, serving from 1914 to 1931. In 1954, Martin Luther King became pastor of the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama. Probably, I love the sentence is "I have a dream." Because of everyone has a dream and want to it become the truth.On the evening of April 4, 1968, while standing on the balcony of his motel room in Memphis, Tennessee, where he was to lead a protest march in sympathy with striking garbage workers of that city, he was assassinated.

Everyone should be equal under the god, that is the reason hold him up to keep moving. He believed that one day his dream will come true and everyone will have equal rights, all of the people will have freedom and play,work with each other. The main reason to determine a person not by the skin but by their inside.

He is one of the greatest leaders who fight with the civil rights. He not only looking for the rights and equality of Negro, but also for others even the white man. Martin Luther King's speech, "I Have A Dream",is impassioned, is really a wonderful speech which about fighting about human rights, everyone should be equal under the god, all human is the god's children. His speech and behavior move many people and change their minds. He is a important person in american history. He will be remember and respect by everyone, and many people like MLK will also fight with equal human right.

He had a great speech 'I have a Dream Speech' in 1963, that is the most impressive speech I have ever seem. He devoted his life to let freedom of the Negro ring. There was another great people, he is Thomas Edison. Thomas was one of the greatest scientists in the world, he invent the light leading the human from dark to the bright. In his life, he has invented more than2 thousand inventions. He love inventing.

He protected the human right for the black people. He reminded people everyone should have the same laws and rights. Also, he reminded people to treat each other by looking their content but not their skin color. I think we should learn from him, his action made us feel admire.

I think what he did it was really nice and interesting he was a man he was talking infront of millions people and he was talking about how he hate when white people are racist. He had true. I think he was really important and interesting person. He had true because every person is the same but we are just not looking same but the chance we have the same chances for life. I like black people i think they are more friendly and funny like us but it really doesn't matter.
