I've always been afraid of sharks even though I've never met one while swimming! The closest I've come to a live shark was in the Boston Aquarium: they have a couple in their giant fish tank. Anyway, I'm interested in fear. What makes you afraid? For some, it's animals like sharks; for others, it's the dark; for others, it could be speaking in public. What's one of your big fears?

I've always been afraid of sharks even though I've never met one while swimming! The closest I've come to a live shark was in the Boston Aquarium: they have a couple in their giant fish tank. I am afraid of standing on a high place.When I stand on some high places.I feel sick.You know, the feeling is like you are going to fall down .That's very scaring. Thus I try to avoid to be in the high places.That's why I seldom climb mountains.The highest place I have ever been is the tallest buiding in my city.It's dizy.I'm so glad that in the dorm, my room is on the first floor.It's comfortable to look outside the window,right?
ReplyDeleteI really afraid of standing on the frozen lake although the surface is hard enough. I always afraid of dropping into the lake if unfortunately the ice is broken. Maybe that because of some horror movies. Once four friends go skating on the frozen lake and one of them fell into the lake. He was never found. After several years a ghost found the other three guys and blame them that they didn't save him.
ReplyDeleteSome times I hang out with my friends in winter and they want to skate on the frozen river but I always stand beside. Fortunately nothing happened on them But I also afraid of it. I don't want to drown in the cold 4-degree water or be flood away.
I really afraid of the big dogs，because they are bigger than me.And they are also very huge.Their mouth is big like getting people to eat.It is very amazing.They also look very ferocious.
ReplyDeleteTwo years ago ,I went to my brother'home. My brother liked dogs very much.So in his home ,there was a so big dog.It was called vega.When I went into his house,the vega began to bark and it wanted to attack to me.I was very scared.If my brother didn't try it to stop. the consequences would be unbearable to contemplate.This thing caused me until now had the shadow.
So until now I is still don't like the big dogs.although the small dogs are very cute.
Something i start to afraid when i came to America. I am a homestay student, so i even have no time to spend with my friends who live in the dorm. I always spend my time in my room by myself. On weekend, i stay in my room by myself almost a whole day. Therefor, i feel very lonely. What do you think if a active person suddenly become alone. i must admit it, for me that is intolerable. I even start to afraid that stay at home alone. For other person, that should be a easy case, but for me, it is baffle me completely. I think i am a person who is from outerspace. my best friend are computer, bed and my homework. i almost spend whole day with them. i am really afraid it.
ReplyDeleteI am afraid of standing at a high place.In addition,I am afraid of playing entertaining facilities like roller coasters too.It is because when you are standing in a high place,or not standing on the ground,it must have something supporting you.For example iron chains and rigid frames.Although I know they are strong and hard enough to support heavy weight,I just afraid they will break suddenly and I will be kill.On the other hand,most of the entertaining facilities are built above the ground.The reason that I am afraid of playing roller coasters is the same as the reason for afraid of standing in a high place.Here is another interesting thing.When I was small,I am afraid of being alone in a room too.
ReplyDeleteI am really afraid of snake, which has smooth surface and moves in silence. I have heard a lot of people died after they were bit by the snakes.Because the toxins from snakes will spread around the body really fast. I have touched the surface of snake once before in museum, it was really dry, when I was going to leave, the snake had a glimpse of me, there was no motion inside its eyes. That was the time I really understand what the "cool blood animal" was. After that time, I would never watch any TV shows or pictures about snakes.

ReplyDeleteBe honestly. Chicken make me feel frighten. Especially I afraid of adult chicken. They are so scary! Their eyes are so so so so horrible. And their mouth are too acute！I can't bit them. Until now when i see some chicken during any times. I will run away or change my route or stop and wait them pass me far far away. I don't know why i feel afraid of chicken, i even eat them every week. My mother told me you might be a bugs before your human's life. That means my last generation is a bugs, and why i turn to be a human, because a chicken killed me. so that's why i feel frighten of chicken.

Most of my time, I'm very brave. I'm not afraid of insects, darkness, roller coster, and then. But, well, I'm afraid of scary movies. After watching a scry movie, I think about much more thing than peacetime, like there are some strange things follow me.
Okay, I know I'm crazy, maybe the best way to solve it is don't see scary movies any more, but my friends say I should see more movies to overcome my weakness. I don't know, If I have enough free time, maybe I'll to see.
I really afraid of caterpillar. When I was 5 years old, I always play with my friends. We often climb the trees and run in the fields.Once, we held on a climbing competition and we all climb the tree very fast.I reached the top first but suddenly the leaves fell down and then lot of caterpillar fell on my face.I was directly dropped down from the trees.This thing in my mental left plenty of shadows and the caterpillar is the thing I most afraid to see.

ReplyDeleteI afraid of snakes.They has poison.When I was 14 years old, I was hiking in a mounting. I hiking in a mounting with my brother and friends. We were looking trees. We looking four minutes and than lot of snakes. We were afraid snakes and we run . I now that heard a lot of people died after they were bit by the snakes. oll the time afraid snakes , i don't like it's.
ReplyDeleteI am thinking about what i really afraid. Actually there are no animal or staffs i really afraid. I afraid that some people who close to me but they will leave me some day. i like to have some closely friend, and i hope they can stay with me forever. if they leave me some day, i will be cracked down. cause i afraid that, so i always try my best to help my friend, even i am in usa right now, i will connect with them every week.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest,I am afraid of nothing,because I am a really man just a kidding.I am terrified of dogs which are big or violent.I cannot forgot one thing that when I was 13 years old,I went to my grandpa's house.Suddenly,he ran to my feet ,just griped my feet,that time I was a young child,so I really scared,even though nothing was happened,I was not injured,but I was still afraid of dogs now,although I like dogs very much,I think I will have a dog but it is a small and cute dog in someday.

Just like him, I don't have something really scares me, but sometimes when I think of the feelings of the friends leaving or my family leaving, I can feel very scary. Although I have lots of friends, lots of elder and smaller cousins, I am very scary of losing them. I hate the people around me leaving me.

In fact, there is nothing I really scared. However, the one thing I really afraid about is my friends are very hypocritical to me. I will be grieved when that happened.I had a good friend when I was in the middle school.I was very kind to her.And we were always together.But one day,I found she didn't tell me truth about her.And she even didn't ignore me anymore. And I didn't know why because there was nothing happened specially.So I was really upset and sad. That's why I'm so scared my friends hypocritical to me.
ReplyDeleteI'm really afraid injection.And I was trying to refuse shots every single time.But something were always happened you cannot avoid. Before I came to American I got 5 shots in one day, totally 7 shots a week. Until now I still need one more shot, it sounds horrible! Every time I am going to hospital i am so afraid seeing nurses, because i always think they will kill me!

I'm really afraid dogs whatever it is small or big.When I first close to the dog,I was scared with it.It has strong tooth and body.It always bark loudly.In my opinion,It's so frightening .When I grow up,I meet a small dog again,It is close to my leg,Then,It open its mouth.I think it will hurt me!I run away quickly and even afraid look back.I really don't want to meet dog again but It is impossible.

ReplyDeleteI have a dog names vivi, I love her so much. Me and my parents found her at a park when she is 8 weeks.
I am the only child of my parents, sometimes my parents were too busy with their work and do not have time to spend with me. Vivi will always beside me and play with me.
I can not image that one day Vivi will leave us. Sometimes I am thinking that I wish Vivi can be my real sister in her next life, and my mum always laughed about me and said:" maybe she is going to be your big sister in her next life."
However, people always tell me that a dog can only live for 13 years. But what I wish is Vivi can stay with us forever.
At a dog's world, all they have it is you, but for us, we have friend and family. Make it worth for their life.
I'm really afraid of something which is wriggling，such like carpenterworm. Because if I see that animal ,I will feel sick.But I don't afraid of silkworm,and I reared a silkworm in china.I don't afraid it because I think it's benefit to man.I like all the animals which are good for human.

ReplyDeleteI am afraid of dogs and snakes.I am afraid of really big dogs.O the summer.I was in Kazakstan.I went in my grandmother's house two years ago.There is a very big dog.Her name was Dana.My family likes dogs.I decided to go for walk and while I was waling I saw the Dana.I thought that she is very kind but when I came to her closer she started bark and she bite me.It was painful.Now I have the scar.Also I am afraid of snakes because they are very dangerous.
ReplyDeleteWhat I afraid most is closed dark.3 years ago,I participated an activity in army.One project was escaping from a dark maze.Before I got in,I thought it won't be difficult,but I was wrong.As long as the game started,I about to got crazy.Darkness and noise from others around me,and I was bound because of the little space of tube.When I found a gap what could apparent light from outside.I just stayed at there and didn't want to go ahead.Lucky, I had a little flashlight so that I can went out by the little light.
ReplyDeleteOne of my fear is tests from any classes.Tests make me feel scare because i need to study a whole night for a test, and i think the feeling of studying is worst then any thing in the world, including punish by my parents and broke up with my girlfriend.
ReplyDeleteRemember when i was small, my mother always force me to study, and every time when i was studying, i will always sleep, so my mum will come and punish me, and i will think i want you to punish me instead of study for the whole night.
But now, my mind has been change, i know the importance of a test, so i will try my best on every tests.But still hope that Mr.Griffin will not gives us too many tests;).
I am really afraid of frogs.But I don't know why I afraid.My friend said may be I was frightened by frogs. As far as I remember when I can remember something,I'm afraid of frogs.I tried many times to find out resent,but I can't.My father told me "you should to learn about something of frogs,if you know its habits,maybe you don't afraid it." I hope one day I can find out the resent and don't afraid frogs
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid of the spiders.They're very creepy.They have like very scary hair on their body.I hate that at all.I can't even kill a spider,because I'm very scared.In my mind,there was a big spider in my room back in China.I saw it like I see a monster.I just hate it,but they're not too bad.Whatever,I'd never step on it.
ReplyDeleteI really really afraid of lose my family,cause I really love my family and I really happy and glad that I can born in this family.I really love my mum and grandma cause they are so nice and also really funny,when I have some problem such as:study,life,friends......they also support me and give me some idea then i can easily know the way I go.I still can remember my mum told me that the day i came to this world she was so so so excited and nervous,excited about she will have a petty kid but she also nervous about my future.when i knew my mum's feeling i was really wanna to cry,i could not find a word to describe my feeling,i just wanna to say i love my mum.I will study hard and do my best to make my mum and grandma have a good future!
ReplyDeleteI am afraid of standing on a high place. If I stay on a high place such as the top of the mountain , I can’t look downstair . If I do this ,I will feel weak ,even can’t stay standing . Sometimes I will feel dizzy. So I almost never climb the mountain ,though I want to enjoy the magnificent view . I have no idea why I am scared with this ,but I also want to go over this . Because I perfer traveling and I want to enjoy the sience of the top of mountain someday.

ReplyDeleteI am really really really afraid of cockroach.Because they looks so ugly，black, oily, speed is very fast, if you're going to play it, it doesn't run but towards you, or even fly. Remember the willies. Feel it is invincible, I saw it lose its fighting capacity, can only be crazy.,and scary.But if I meet the cockroach,I will be will get goose bumps all over，I don't like this feeling.
ReplyDeleteI really afraid of loneliness.I think loneliness can bring something bad to a person.Even loneliness can kill a person.So having a friend is very important.I always have friends to talk with.If someting good or bad happens to me,I will share it with my best friends.Then my best friends will congratulate me or comfort me and help me to get out of trouble. Also,I will do the same thing to him or her.Now,I made a lot of new friends.I feel I'm so lucky for doing your friend!!!

Hi, I think these animals are very good. I love sharks. In Australia they are have a lot of sharks and i think sometime shark is very friendly. They never eat people when they are not hungry and mad. I have fear before my hockey game or something else, but it's good. I very big fear is awrh i don't know but i hate spiders. Spiders are horrible animal on this world .
ReplyDeleteI am afraid of being injured in a game. When I was 10 years old, my right foot was broken, it was so painful, it was a terrible injury. I couldn't walk and I couldn't play soccer in the rest time of the year. When my friends were playing soccer, I just sat near the field watching they play, the feeling was not good. From then on, my right foot became weak, so, I practice my left foot. When I was 12, my left knee sprain so that I missed many important games, and then I couldn't play the last game which represent my primary school, I was so sad.

To be honest,there are lots of things I am afraid,like snacks,like standing on a high place.But these are all I can overcome. The most thing I am afraid is someone I love leaves me. It doesn't means they have to stay with me together but our heart will be together. When I feel tired, I can remember them and become full of energy. When they feel happy or sad,they also will remember me but not leave me alone and forget me.

I really don't know how to describe the feeling when that things happen, some words like lonely and disappointment are not enough. I really don't want to have that memory in my life.
ReplyDeleteFrom Frankie - I really afraid of mosquito. It is because it makes me feel itchy if I get bite by the mosquito. Also it makes me can’t concentrate on my work, for example when I having a test, the mosquito bite always makes me to disperse what I am thinking. Since mosquito is very small and fast, so it is not easy to kill them and they will keep disturbe you until you kill them.

It make me heart rate,weakness and brain blank. If let me to choose how to kill myself. I never choose jump from high place. Because maybe I will die because of high heart.
