In the spring, I always felt comfortable. Because in the spring you can always have the gently wind and good air quality. Also in the spring you can see different kinds of flower. Anyway, spring is a very good season. Also last year's spring, I went to the harris farm in the dayton, and I saw how to make the maple syrup in that farm, it is really amazing for me. But I don't really like the maple syrup because it is too sweet for me.
ReplyDeleteAlso strange thing happened in the yesterday, in the yesterday they supposed to have the warm weather, but the actual weather for yesterday is a big snow, it is vreally strange for me.
In my mind, spring is a time that I can smell earth everywhere. The earth just smells like rain and leaves but with some flowers.
ReplyDeleteI kind of like spring because is the beginning of a year and I can see most of the plants and animals which are disappear for a whole season.
But when spring comes, I always feel tired and don't what to get out of my bed and even don't what to go to school. Spring it's a good time for sleeping :)

ReplyDeleteIn my country, peach blossom is one of the symbol to suggest that the spring is coming! When you stand at the bottom of the mountain, you look straight up and you will see there is a large red flake stuff.That's the peach blossom. Another symbol is the kites.When spring comes, many people will go outside and fly the kites. It is really fun.
In China, Swallows fly north is mean spring is coming. Cause the weather is keep being warm. there are not enough food in south, then the swallows fly to north is mean spring is coming and they can find food at north too. Willow is start growing. when the willow start to germinate. that means spring is coming. I like spring, its refreshing. and that mean summer is close too.
ReplyDeleteI really need to work hard in spring because we already finished half school term. To make a good final grade, I have to improve my English skills and organize my daily study schedule, I also need to prepare the SAT and TOEFL test. WOW, lots of stress!
ReplyDeleteNow, forget those missions, spring time means TENNIS TIME! The new tennis season will start soon, which start with the sunshine and fresh air. I won't feel freezing when I get up or need to come home early when the sun falls quickly.
In China, we eat spring rolls when the spring comes, and we also plant fruit trees.

ReplyDeleteSomeone says that spring comes without,notice, but I think you can notice that, in china when spring comes you can hear birds singing in the morning, in winter I need an alarm o'clock to wake me up but in spring I never use an alarm o'clock when I hear birds singing it tells me it's morning get up~ it's nice to see spring come~!
It is good to see that the spring is coming soon because the Winter in Maine is too cold for me. I have been look for the spring since the beginning of the Winter. But i prefer the summer because i love the sun shine in the summer and the summer vacation. Of course my birthday is in summer and that's the most important reason why i love summer. Anyway spring is a nice season too. I really enjoy looking the green stuff during spring time. But too bad that we don't have snow day any more in the spring.

ReplyDeleteThere is a most obvious symbol of spring in my city, everything turns into green when spring comes. There is a lake named west lake in my city, which is very famous for its green scene and its clear water. I liked the lake very much that I go to there a lot. When spring comes the osiers starts to grow and starts to turn into green. That is so pretty that I always walk home from school with my friends, since we really enjoy and the beautiful view and the comfort wind. Another thing that spring brings to my mind is that people start to wear less clothes. In my opinion that is such a good thing that we don't need to wear so much clothes when spring comes. It is more neat and more comfortable!

I love Maple Syrup. It is great with the pancakes. I am so happy that we are in spring even with this crazy weather, because when spring arrives means that just a few months to summer. Spring is my second favourite season. It is so nice that we do not need the coat,the scarfs and the big sweaters anymore.
ReplyDeleteI do not know any specific symbol of spring in Spain, I guees the flower can be one example, but I don´t really know.
But I must say that everybody in Spain says that spring is the time of the year to fall in love....
I think the spring with the warm weather and the beautifull sun shining again, make everybody very happy.

ReplyDeleteBecause spring is the beginning of a year.have you ever though that:'what is you feel when you get up at morning?' i feel tired, nervous , and i don't want to face a new day. because i don't know what will happen.i think the spring is like this. everything start in spring,it's the most nervous season for me. we can not change it, the only thing we can do is hold every day hold every season, get a good start.

ReplyDeleteYesterday,I went to farm with my homestay family.We ate maple pancakes there and saw cows and horses. I love the maple popcorn so much.Unluckily, the dog in my homestay ate them all when we were downstairs.
In China, flowers are the symbol of spring.You can see flowers everywhere and smell them.But i am not sure if there are something else.Also, spring is the beginning of the whole year, everything gonna be new. And you can feel hopeful and energetic.
The second reason is that after spring, summer will come soon !
In spring,the weather is aways sunny and rainy,it's not cold and not hot,it's warmer and warmer.The flowers begin to open and the trees begin to turn green.The birds are singing in the sky,they are happy.The animals will go out to play.Many people like to go out and enjoy the sunshine.

ReplyDeleteIn my country, we have 2 symbols which represent for spring, one for the North and one for the South.
Because I'm coming from the North, so the symbol of spring in my city is Peach blossom. It is very special because it just blooms in spring. It is one of traditional flower which needed for Lunar new year in my city.
The spring weather also makes people feel comfortable. And spring is season for sports like tennis, baseball, softball...I think I will have a lot of fun in this spring. The first spring in US!!!
Spring is coming, although I cannot feel it a lot in Maine.

In my country, I think the symbols of spring are all the plants get green, the weather gets warmer, the day gets longer and so on.
Spring always bring me good mood and motivation.
When I see the plants get green and smell the flowers, I feel really comfortable, even happy. In spring I am not as sleepy as in winter.
It is the beginning of a year. I always make a plan for what I need to do this year and have motivation to do it.
Hope I can have a good spring this year.

Spring is one of the most beautiful seasons. You'll always here the bees buzzing, see the flowers blooming, see the sun shining brighter than ever, and the perfect clear sky. You'll see kids running around, having all the fun they can get out of a magnificent season like this. You'll see the most greenest trees you have ever seen. Your grass will shine a bright beautiful green. It's truly the most beautiful season there is.
ReplyDeleteWhen I see this topic, I know the hardest time is gone finally. Before I came here, I heard that winter in Maine is horrible. But it is much more better than I image.
ReplyDeleteI still clearly remember when I saw students begin wear summer uniform inside the coats, I knew spring was coming, which also meant I need work hard and prepare for the final exam. There is a old saying "A year's plan starts with spring". It is accurate to describe my thoughts in spring.
I love the whether is getting warmer and warmer. Everywhere is becoming green. I don't have any reason to be lazy now.
So let's start strive for ourselves.

Which mean we could finally say good bye to the ugly winter.which mean the summer vacation is also getting closer to us.In my country, smart swallow symbolize the spring, when the spring come, the smart swallow will return to north of china from south of china. ReplyDeleteThere was one spring i have ever experienced came in my mind when i saw this topic. I do not really like spring. I like winter so much so that I always think spring makes winter go away. But that time, I was totally moved by spring--by life. One day after a extremely cold night, it suddenly became warm. I was surprised when I opened my window. I could not believe the world was painted colorfully only in one night! I put on my favorite clothes and then went to the garden. I did not ask any friends to go with me. I just want to enjoy the nature quietly on my own.
ReplyDeleteChinese biggest festival is spring festival. Anyone can tell the basic meaning of this festival--celebrate the spring. It means the spring is coming, and it's time to go to work!
I like spring so much, because you won't keep you coat on any more. Although i like winter, i wonder to welcome spring. In our country, the symbol of us is a kind of flower called" Ying Chun". That is really means welcome spring. It only bloom on spring. My city is always painted colorfully by "Yin Chun". The area become fresh instead of freeze. Can you image that in the modern city is adorn by grass and tiny yellow flower replete it. How beautiful picture the spring is!!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all i need to say that the spring didn't start yet. its too cold and we are going to have a snowstorm on sunday, but it is not sure yet. Anyways I think that we don't have a specific symbol for spring in Spain. I could tell the flowers because the start growing but that is everywhere, you know what i mean? It's not just there. I like spring, i prefer summer though but springs means that summer is close and that soon we are going to wear shorts and t-shirts, you know? It makes me happy cause i don't want to wear coats anymore I'm tire of them. I want good weather, it makes people be happy active and i dont know it's just AWESOME!!

Spring it is a nice love season. But i like summer more than spring, because i like swim. For me i don't like any kind of sugar. So i don't like maple syrup. But the image it's very interesting it is my first time to meet this way to get sugar especially from tree.
ReplyDeleteI like spring, but not as much as summer. Spring in the beginning of a year, everything comes to be new. I don't like dry and cold winter, so when the spring is coming, I always happer than ever. Spring brings me some energy. I can do some activities instead of stay in the room. I like sports, and there are a lot of spring sports in TA such as tennis, golf and so on. I like tennis best because I can do it pretty well. I was in the boy's tennis JV team last year, and I think I can get in Versity team this year.
