Wow i am the first one today. The Abraham Lincoln the most famous president in US history. I heard much information about him. The “Civil War”it is a righteous war specially the righteous is in Lincoln's side. He give the black people freedom and give them the right and ask the law to protect them. The "Emancipation Proclamation," was very breathtaking. For me i like him. The slavery have to abolished. That's not fair for the human. The black people white people and the yellow people we are friends and we also are the human we need have the freedom and the fair... ReplyDeleteI know Abraham Lincoln before because he is a great president of USA. When I learned history in the china, teacher taught us Lincoln stops the civil war. So this is the greatest thing are Lincoln done. Also Lincoln abandoned the slavery, so he give some of the freedom to the black people. In the china I think the great leader is Deng Xiaoping. Because he said that economy is much more important than the politics. So Deng Xiaoping give chinese Mainland people's economy freedom. We can free trade and doing market economy now. If china don't Deng Xiaoping, I can't study in the here, also my family won't have enough money to feed us. So In my opinion Deng Xiaoping is the greatest person in china. Because If we don't have Deng Xiaoping. Today we are still poor.

ReplyDeleteSome people may say that Mao has similar fame and inspires but i don't think so. In my mind Mao has similar fame and inspires with George Washington who started a country. So i think Deng Xiaoping ( which is the same as Ziming) is more like Abraham Lincoln. They both made a big change for their country. Of course they're very important for their country too.
This saturday Feb 12th is my birthday too.I have the same birthday with Lincoln. I know he is a very important people in America. Just like chiramanMao in China. Lincoln is one of the most famous president in USA. He stop the civil war, and he help the black people in America to get the freedom. ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, every country has their own "Abraham Lincoln" maybe they were not very similar as each other.
In China,I think Deng Xiaoping is the greatest leader.He made the economy of China got a great progress.I think if China without Deng ,maybe China is still a poor country. So, in chinese history textbook , people called him the designer of the "Reform and Opening".All the chinese admire him.
So, I think Deng Xiaoping is like Lincoln.
I really understand why Lincoln is so famous in United States and I agree with Star he is famous in all the world.

Because unfortunally during our history we really had very bad goverments.
In my opninion for me the best king or president in the history of Spain was The Queen Elisabeth II. She was the only woman in the history of Spain who was queen, because our constitution a women can not be queen.
But she was and she was so great.
She became a queen just with 13 years old in 1833. She avioded a lot of wars in Spain and really worked very hard. I really admire her, she was wonderful and very brave...

I heard of Abraham Lincoln. He was the first one to abolish the slavery. It was a great progress. He also started the first modern war which is civil war.And he led the country into a new world and new time.But he was killed, it was not a good ending.

Hi everyone. I don't know a lot of stuff about politics. Its not my favorite topic to talk about. I find it bored. I have heard about Lincoln though. i know he was an excellent president one of the most important president in the history of the United States of America. I know he was so important because of the slavery and he participated in the Civil War. i know that he created the modern war. He invented new strategies to win a war. Finally he was assassinated.

But he didn't collaborate to improve our country. Anyways i don't have enough knowledge to give my opinion sorry.

Zhou helped Mao a lot when Mao is the president of The republic of China. He is a skilled and able diplomat, and served as the Chinese foreign minister from 1949 to 1958. He can speak four languages include English Russian and whatever two more~~~
He is not really healthy because of a lot of work.

He established China in 10/01/1949 and held authoritarian control over the nation until his death in 1976. He was not only a Chinese communist revolutionary,but also author, political theorist, and leader of the Chinese Revolution.
Without him, we won't have anything we have now.
Abraham Lincoln is one of the most famous president in American history. the biggest deal about him is American civil war. I believe in most people's opinion, this is one of the greatest events that Lincoln did. He helped black people live better and prevented America from separating.
ReplyDeleteIn China, there are also some famous people who can not be forgotten forever. Chairman mao leaded the army against the Japanese army and made them get away from China. After that, he founded new China with other leaders such as Zhou Enlai. Also,he leaded the leaders made a policy said that women are the same as men in China.
It's interesting that everyone from China mentions Mao as an important leader, but several of you seem to think that other men - Zhou Enlai, Deng Xiaoping - did more to create modern China.

ReplyDeleteFor me, I think after Ho Chi Minh ( the most famous president in my country), Vo Nguyen Giap is the most famous general who is always besides Ho Chi Minh during the Vietnam wars. He was also a journalist, an interior minister in President Ho Chi Minh's Viet Minh government, the military commander of the Việt Minh, the commander of the People's Army of Vietnam, and defense minister. He is still alive and he is one of famous generals in the world.
Yea, i know lincoln was a very famous president in America. His most famous thing is to give black people freedom and to open the public school to black people. To give the same right to black people with everybody else. And right now we can tell how big this change brought to America, because the American president is black right now. I knew Abraham Lincoln since I am in middle school. He is a hero of this country. He released black people from slave owner. I dont really know is there have anyone's day in China. but there are bunch of famous people remembered by help people life better in China, such as Chairman Mao, he is the first president of new China. People admire him, and love him as well.

I went to Lincoln Memorial. He is a very famous persident in America. He came from a poor family, and he didn'd have good school. He studied everything by himself. Because he came from poor family, so he know more about poor people in American. Lincoln insisted that the slaves should be emancipated. People thanks him, so they write "In this temple as in the hearts of the people for whom he saved the Union the memory of Abraham Lincoln is enshrined forever".

I am soooooo bad at history and politics, that you can't imagine. So this is such a hard topic for me to write about. I even don't know any history not only about America, but also China.

In China, I think maybe Mao ZeDong or Deng XiaoPing did the same kinds of thing as Lincoln. But I don't know the details.
I am so sorry about that. I really wanna write more, but I don't know anything about that.
I am going to learn more about that when I have time.
Luckily, I have the same birthday with Lincoln, which is 12th February. Abraham Lincoln is one of the most important presidents in US. I like him because he release the Slaves and help the black to improve their state. Before the Civil War, the black were used to stay at the lowest place of the people. They have no right to protect themselves. So Lincoln helped them to get a new, better life.
