Happy Valentine's Day. The red rose is a symbol of love, and many men will be giving roses to their sweethearts today. Some people dislike Valentine's Day, partly because it can make people who don't have a sweetheart at the moment feel lonely. Lots of men don't like Valentine's Day because of the pressure they feel to do something nice for their girlfriend/wife. Maybe the best way to look at Feb. 14 is as a day to think of those you love (not just sweethearts), especially those you can't see this day. What do you think? Do you like Valentine's Day? Happy Valentine's Day. The red rose is a symbol of love, and many men will be giving roses to their sweethearts today. Some people dislike Valentine's Day, partly because it can make people who don't have a sweetheart at the moment feel lonely. Lots of men don't like Valentine's Day because of the pressure they feel to do something nice for their girlfriend/wife. Maybe the best way to look at Feb. 14 is as a day to think of those you love (not just sweethearts), especially those you can't see this day. What do you think? Do you like Valentine's Day? In my opinion, Valentine's Day is not only for the couples, but also for everyone. If you don't have a boyfriend or a girlfriend, it is fine because we can celebrate with family, friends. I don't think we need to prepare a expensive present or something like that, just a present from your heart and it would be an awesome for people whom you love.I was enjoy a wonderful single valentine with my friends. They gave me Valentine's cards and chocolate. It's so cool because when I was in Vietnam, not a lot of people celebrate valentine's day excepted couples.That why I love Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteMy birthday suppose to be on Valentine 's Day. But my parents worried that i m going to be a player when i grow up. So they born me 2 days earlier which is Lincoln 's birthday. I think Valentine 's day should be romantic and fun. You dont really need to get a gift to your girlfriend. i think it s more important to tell her that you love her.And it is a good day to ask for a girl you like to go out too.
ReplyDeleteHappy Happy Valentine's Day. I think that Valentine's Day is one of the most romantic day and my old school used to have some activities on that day. They are not just for couples but also for the people who don't have a "sweetheart". That's why I always have a good time on Valentine's Day even though i have never had a "sweetheart" beside me on that day. One of my fiends used to work for the year book in my old school and i don't like to see my pictures on that stuff. So he used to help me to do "something" on the year book every year. Of course Valentine's Day is also a good day for year book workers. You can find a lot of good photos on that day.

ReplyDeleteValentine´s day is not my favourite day of the year, but I think it is a good moment to tell to your special person that you love him or her. It don´t have to be your boyfriend, girlfriend, wife or husband. Just someone that you really love.
It is always so nice to get some presents like roses, in my opinion the most romantic gift, but if you did not get anything, I think it´s ok.
In this country people also give presents to friends and family. This was a big surprise for me.
Some friends gave me presents for Valrentine´s day, but I did not give anything to them, because I did not know that people do that.
I think Valentine´s day can be a nice day if you have someone to share it....
My birthday is in white Valentine's day. in my city,people said every mouth 14th are Valentine's day.and Im not really like Valentine's day, I never get presents and also never give someone presents.in Valentine's day one thing I can do is, stay home, do nothing. cant go out to play.my mum cant let me have a gf b/c she said I am soo young to do that, I need to focus at study.

Man don't like the pressure to do something nice to their girlfriend. and it will keep bothering you days before valentines day. But the other way, valentines day is a good chance to develop you and your girlfriend's love. And it also is a good opportunity for man to ask the girl that they love to go out.

ReplyDeleteI have no feeling about Valentine's day because I 'm single and I really don't want to give up my freedom because of GF. Otherwise, I send some gifts to some couples and wish that they can have a great Valentine's day. I know if I don't get a haircut , I'm hopeless. Er, I really don't care to have a GF, and never feel lonely, I know which kind of person I am. So, good luck everybody.

Of course ,I am a girl so I like Valentine's day. Every girl wants to have a romantic day on FEBRUARY 14th.And men don't be so worry and pressured, we needn't some present just a nice day.
Valentine's Day is really like an nightmare for me, i have no experience for that. I spend 3 weeks between i decided to give a present and got ready for it. I changed less 3 idea for the present. First i want to make heart chocolate for her by myself, but i got fail in the end. The reason is when I melt the chocolate, the temperature was too high, the sugar came out of the chocolate. Second I ordered i musicbox on the wedside, but it was too ugly. Finally, i walked to downtown to buy any flower there and give it to her. This idea is the most original idea for Valentine's Day, but it was seem not too bad. This experience let me know every girl likes flower forever....

I think Valentine's Day is a good time to say I LOVE YOU to all the people you love. Not only to your sweetheart but also to your family, your friends even your pets. We already wasted so much time and missed so many chances to show our love to each other. Why not? That will only bring happiness to us and not does harm to anyone at all. If you love somebody, tell them.
ReplyDeleteMy parents don't support me to have a boyfriend. They told me all the time that I am too young to have a boyfriend. But I told them I will if I meet someone I like even love. I don't think their is anything wrong about that. Also, it is a chance to help each other grow.
Very sensible comments, everybody. Let me just say that, whether or not you have a boyfriend/girlfriend, please don't feel any pressure! In time, you will meet someone you love.

I felt sad and happy on Valentine's Day.There are many couple make me feel loney, but I have a wonderful memory before.
Valentine's Day is a good time to tell people we love them, we give the cards and follower to the people who we love. In China, people celebrate this day just for girl/boy friends, but I like American Valentine's Day better, because i think everyone who we love should get a card or follow.

ReplyDeleteI sent gift to my homestay member and my boyfriend. Furthermore, I handed out chocolate to many friends and teachers. I can tell when some of my friends who don't have a date received my chocolate, they were so happy and surprised. I love that feeling when you do something, they can give you smiling faces as feedback.
Moreover, I did another good thing: remind my Chinese dad to buy gifts for my lovely mom. He did it! I can't image if I didn't say anything to him, how my mom would feel. That will be terrible.
As for my boyfriend. I was sorry about I didn't spend any time with him on that day because of swimming practice. But he gave me a really big surprise which made me almost cry. Thanks again at here for preparing those things for me.
Anyway, I love Valentine's Day. I love being loved and loving others.
I don't really mind Valentine's Day anyway. In my thoughts it would be a better day if I have a sweetheart.
ReplyDeleteI think Valentine's Day is for everyone especially the couples. It is a good day to express your love to the people you love. Not only just for your sweetheart but also everybody else that you care about. For example, your parents.Basically, that was what my homestay told me. Before that I thought Valentine's Day is only for couples.
I had a good day that day. My homestay parents gave me gifts like chocolate.

ReplyDeleteIn my opnion I'm not like some other people, I'm not caring about the Valentine's day, because I'm not failing in love with other girl. But I will say that Valentine's day is a great day for people who love each other. Because this day is a good opportunity to show love to each other. So it is a good day for lovers.

ReplyDeleteIt was a kind of long time ago, but I still remember everything that happened at Valentine's Day.
I spent that day with the person who I love the most, my mom. It was a Monday, I had school that day, actually, that was the last day I went to school before Feb. break. I did my calculus test at that day, and Ms.Sheehan gave cards to everybody for Valentine's Day.
After school my mom and I met all the teachers. Then, I gave my mom chocolate for gift.
When I went back to my homestay, the kids are making Valentine's Day cards to their parents.
Happy Valentine's Day, mom. I love you.
Happy Valentine's Day, my teachers(especially Mr.Griffin). I love you all.

Valentine's day is a day most couples wants to prove their love and relationship.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I think love should in couples' heart. If someone find a person who he or her really love, everyday is Valentine's day. Love can be feel in everyday, every moment we together we separate. It exist in every word we say, every hug we make.
Love can be feel but can't be prove. We don't say forever just let me hold your hand.

I like Valentine's Day but i think it's just another day like another day. Maybe it's kind of special because its a special date that u should spend with the person that u like. Anyways in my opinion its a day that is really consumerist. i think so because the main point of it is to buy a present for that special person. in my opinion it's not necessary to buy anything. yeah everyone likes to receive present but i think that the main point of Valentine's day should be to show that special person that u love her or him a lot and not just with a present.

ReplyDeleteIn VAlentine's day, Chocolates and roses are two things that cannot forget. As most of the chocolates are so sweet, when eating the chocolates, you heart can feel how sweet they are. That can tell people that he or she is a sweetheart, ha ha. And roses, which stands for a young girl and romantic, is one of the important things that cannot forget in Valentine's day. Actually, I don't really like getting rose because they will die very soon.

I like Valentine's Day because I think it’s a good day. In that day you can do many thing with your lover you can han out with with your Lover for dinner. and you can also go and see a film such thing like that, and if you got married that’s more important for you to celebrate with your life. If you are alone don’t worry there might have other people who are also alone, maybe you can find your lover on that day.
