Journal Question #12 (2010-2011)
Do you know who these people are? If you have seen any of the "Harry Potter" movies, you do. It has been a long time since I saw the first "Harry Potter". I am not a big fan of Hurry Potter, so I haven't finish any of J.K.Rowling's book yet even I bought a book. I think I was more interested in the movies especially the first three movies. At that time the main characters are all very cute, especially Harry Potter. Ten years past by, the little cute boy grew up and he is not cute nor handsome anymore. Fortunately, Hermione is still pretty. Think that is one of the reasons why I am still watching the movies.
ReplyDeleteMy favourate character is Sirius Black.I think that he was a very charming person. He was still a mestory even he was killed.He had a crazy family, one of his cousins was so crazy that she killed him.He helped Harry Potter a lot. He remained everything to Harry Potter when he dead.
And I am looking forward to see "The Deathy Hallows" sometime.

ReplyDeleteI have seen that one already on last weekend with jack. I believe that most of the students at the dorm have already seen that too because we had a movie trip on friday night.The movie was not bad but the movie makers are very smart. They cut the last book into two parts then we have to see the second part after we see the first part.
ReplyDelete"Harry Potter" is a good movie and i have seen all the "Harry Potter" movies except the second part of "The Deathly Hallows." But i haven't seen any book of "Harry Potter" yet. Someone told me that it's not a good thing to read the book before you see the movie because you will know what's going on next and the movie won't be very exciting for you anymore.
Anyway i will read the "Harry Potter" books after i see all the "Harry Potter" movies and i can't wait for the second part of "The Deathly Hallows."
I love Harry Potter, this is my favorite story. I have seen the movie with my classmates. I am a big fan on Harry Potter.
ReplyDeleteI have read all the series of Harry potter. They are very good.I like Harry Potter and Order of Phoenix best.Because in this book students get together,and fight against the Ministry,break the rules in school.It was really funny and excited.
I think the stories are very good. The stories are very magic,very creative. I believe everyone likes the series. I favorite actor is Emma Watson who plays Hermione. She is very good, she is studying in Brown University.She is very smart. When she at the top of her career ,she quit acting and go on her education. I don't think everyone can make this decision.I think she is a girl with magic.
I saw three of these movies, but I never understand what happened. I always fall asleep in that movie. But my friends like it,so I accompany them.
ReplyDeleteBut I know the girl, Emma. It is my ideal.She is beautiful, we all have to admitted it. Now she is studying in Brown University. Her SAT is 2350 and GPA is nearly full scores. It is a really amazing girl. when she faces so so many attract，she can tell what is more important and does the right choose.
she can hold this balance, why we can not do that? I have confidence we can deal with everything very well.
That is what I learn from Harry Potter's movie. If my English can improve quickly, I would like to read the book.
I had seen that one before Thanksgiving with Teddy! For me i don't really understand what are the movies talking about. I never saw all the movies about "Harry Potter". So i don't know why the magic school's headmaster was dead? why Harry Potter is stay at home? And Why so many people wants to kill Harry? So for me i think i should go online to watch all the movies about "Harry Potter", or i should choose the book about "Harry Potter". Because i am really interesting, and i like that movie. That movies is very nice. The Harry is still handsome but he is getting a little bit fat. The girl i forget her name is beautiful and pretty. I like that kind of girl. Hahahaha!!
ReplyDeletei know harry potter, and harry potter is famous in china too. i watched 4 of them when i m a little kid.i think is good that time, but now i just cant remember what happen in the movie i forget all of it.and i m to lazy to watch the now one. somepeople was telling me the new one is pretty bad.

Hum...for me it's really a difficult topic to talk about. I haven't seen any movie of Harry Potter before. And also, I know little about Harry Potter. but i still have to say some thing about it. in my personal opinion, i don't like this kind of movie full of magic. not because it is not really but it makes me feel bored and empty. i like the movie about emotion or idea that can moves me a lot. like the sent of a woman, in the air and the legend of 1900. but anyway, i know that lots of people loves harry potter a lot must have a reason. so maybe i should try to accept it .
ReplyDeleteHarry potter is one of my favorite books. While reading , I lost myself in the magic world totally. However , I think it is more than a fairy tale or a childish bedtime story, but a rather heavy moral fable for all ages. Through little Harry’s experience in the amazing school, the whiter tells people firmly that the evil will be defeated by the good at anytime and anywhere and only if one be confident , brave and honest can he or she be a real stronger who will be able to realize his or her dream.
ReplyDeleteI SAW THE NEW ONE TODAY, I HAVE NO IDEA, NO FEELING ABOUT IT. I SAW THE BEGINNING OF THE MOVIE, AND I FULL IN SLEEP AT THE MIDDLE, BUT I WOKE UP AT THE END OF THE MOVIE. AND THE LAST THING I WANNA SAY IS, I DO NOT KNOW WHAT CAN I SAY TO THIS MOVIE'S ENDING. IS TERRIBLE. IS TERRIBLE.
ReplyDeleteI saw the movie over Thanksgiving break. It was the creepiest H.P. yet! Reading your comments, it occurs to me that the plot would be confusing if you haven't either read the books or seen the previous movies. There are a lot of characters and stories to keep track of! Also, the movie is long.
ReplyDeleteI like this movie very much, but i like the book much better. I think some times the book always better than it's movie. When i studied in grade 5, i started reading this book. This is a really good story. The content of this story attract me a lot. It is not only talk about imagine about the writer, but also put real component into the story. By the way, HP is also a healthy story. The psychiatrist said this story can solve a lot of mental illness. It can makes people relax, and mediation psychological.
ReplyDeleteI have heard Harry Potter movies and books since I was in primary school. There were lots of my friends interested in Harry Potter. But I have never seen neither movies nor books.
ReplyDeleteBut I know a little bit about it, because I always hear my friends talk about it. And also, my middle school used to have a musical performance competition, there were some people chose Harry Potter.
I think that I may go to see the new Harry Potter movie. And maybe I will read the book after I see the movie. It will help me to understand the book well. I hope that I will like it.

ReplyDeleteI saw the movie during thanksgiving break . It's a great movie , but this one is different with those before . This one is very dark . And all the little actors were grow up , and they have to take more responsible than before. Which is clearly , save the world...
i am not a big fan of harry porter, but i have watched some of those. i dont really like that movie, i know some children really wanna have magic power, they wanna be powerful, i dont know why i am not one of them.

ReplyDeleteThey are Harry Potter and Hermione. I saw the new movie " Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows " and this is great movie. I just only read Harry Potter of J.K Rowling. Each book of the series tells us about the life of Harry and his friends - Hermione and Ron at Hogwarts. However, the background in the new movie is outside Hogwarts. So it's really exciting. You guys should watch this movie.
I like Harry Potter very much, and I like Ron very much. I like the adventure, the victory in danger, the sacrifice in order to protect their friends, the trap designed by the enemy and the magic.
ReplyDeleteI didn't saw the new movie " Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows " on Thanksgiving break, but I already read the books two years ago and I'm looking forward to see the battle of the Hogwarts. For Harry for ever.
In my opinion harry potter is a great story to read. Because the plot in harry potter is very interesting to read. But the only thing I didn't like is this book series is only have 7 books. I think the best amount of harry potter book series is 9 books because I love to real this book, I felt 7 books is not enough so I think 9 is a good number for me.

ReplyDeleteI only read the first four books, but I have seen all the films, some of them many times.
My favourites are the first and the third movies. My favourite character is Ron Weasley, I think that he is so funny.
In Spain Harry Potter is also very famous and my mother is also a big fan.
I can´t wait to see the next film, part two of the final film, I think it is going to be so cool.
I have watched almost all of the movies of Harry Potter and I liked them a lot. Until the forth movie I loved it. Then I just started not liking them at all. Finally when I watched that last movie I have decided that Harry Potter’s films aren’t worth much anymore. During this last movie they were just traveling and nothing important happened. When I was 12 years old I read 3 of the 7 books of Harry Potter and I kind of like them.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big fan of "Harry Potter" but i still very excited to watch this movie but i have no time to watch that last one.But i have watched the first one to the sixth for many time.And i love the third one because it has my favorite character Sirius Black inside.I like Sirius because he is very handsome and he is so nice and clever in the movie. He's a poor man that who cannot get his mother's love and was sent to prison and was killed by his crazy cousin. I still don't know how he die. I don't know why he fell into the mirror and died.
ReplyDeleteWhen i watched the first one, I thought Harry is so cute and I thought he would be very handsome when he grew up. But the truth is he's not handsome anymore and kind of ugly.I was so upset when i watched the fourth one.
