Russia has invaded Ukraine, and now there's a war that involves not only those two countries but also the entire world. War is never a good thing. Here's the question: Is war necessary? Why do humans make war on each other? Can you imagine a time when there is no more war?

ReplyDeleteWar is necessary, and war is a political means to serve the interests of its subjects. I think the only reason for war is profit, because human beings are selfish by nature, and people always disagree on how to measure the value and benefits of various types of work. At this time, war appeared. War is the most contradictory thing in this international community. It brings death, darkness, collapse, and at the same time, it brings progress. I don't think the world will be peaceful at least not for 1000 years.
War is always going to be present between us, it is inevitable and we cannot change that. Maybe to solve certain problems and injustices if war is necessary to end that. People are by nature ambitious, materialistic, envious, etc. Obviously, not all people are like this, but if you look most are like that. Because of these types of character and attitudes, wars occur, these are due to the desire for power and what we want, usually what the other has and we do not have. Or simply to have more than we have since it is not worth what we already have. They may also simply be people who want to do all the evil they can to others. It is for these reasons that a world without wars, problems, and without evil is impossible and unimaginable.

I don’t think it’s necessary, many countries have problems within them, so they think that would make them powerful, and they start fighting.
I couldn’t be the one who leads or sent orders, I can’t handle to see people suffering and families loosing everything that they own, but the most important is loosing a family. I could imagine it, but I don’t know if all the world is gonna get peace one day

ReplyDeleteIt’s normal to have conflict between countries but having a war to end the conflict isn’t a good idea especially in the 20 century because the weapons are too dangerous and might cause an enormous disaster. We can relate students to fighting in school. TheStudent represents the country and the fight represents the war.It’s either better side to any person fighting, they both lose at the end of the day.

I believe that wars begin mainly over territorial issues between countries and no one gives in to accept that the other country is right and the president of that country begins to bomb and the other country returns it and then more countries join. If one day wars would end, I think the world would be happier because no one should worry about a bomb is going to fall on their house.

Humans make war on each other usually because governments or population of a country to increase their power and wealth. ReplyDeleteI don't think war is necessary at all, because war will lead to many deaths, people becoming homeless, children losing their parents, and in the end, it can only be a lose lose lose situation. I think the reason why human beings go to war with each other is that they touch the interests of each other, so they launch war. I don't think there will be permanent peace in the world. As long as there are two positions, two countries will have interests that the other side will touch. Although the war may not be solved by means of weapon attack, it may also become a trade war. From my point of view no, but for those who are selling them the weapons and making money, they are in favor of war. And in wars they usually fighting for territory like right now, and for money. ReplyDeleteEvery country has a different number of powers such as in the military or influence to the global. Also differences in perspective, opinion, and culture.
Since it's all different it's hard to expect no-war.
It's true that we didn't experience war as much as we used to in human society because now we have a rule that goes through the world and groups that work for relationships between countries.
But there's some countries that do not like to get involved in and like to be independent Such as Russia, N Korea and …. Long as all the countries could not unite in one place we won't have peace.

ReplyDeleteIs war necessary? I really don’t think so, war is bad and war is never a good ending. Studying history and world wars I saw incredible things that I never thought that humans could do. I thought that the history that I studied would never happen again, that we would never make the same mistake, I was wrong. I never understand why humans do war on each other, usually war starts for reasons like taking over more territory and expanding the country like Russia is doing now, but I really think that the lives of people are more important. It’s difficult to imagine a time with no war. Now people are afraid of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine but it is not the only war that is going on .

When two countries go to war with each other, it must touch the interests or land of either country. It is not Russia that must go to war, nor Ukraine must go to war. I think that the main reason to which wars even occur in this world is human desire, people that have power, want more and more as the times goes. Resources can be shared by trading, people can move to live in any place that they want. A conflict between countries can be solved by talking but not starting a war. A war is not only affecting the civilians between the countries involved in war, it is affecting the whole world. In my opinion, countries should all have equal rights and justices. The powerful countries shouldn’t start a war with the less powerful countries just because their policies are not beneficial to them. Killing someone is illegal in every country, then why can a country kill thousands of people in a war? I always believe that humans are evil, greedy, our wants can never be satisfied, we just want more and more, so I can’t imagine a time when there is no more war. Violence can take place as a kind of action in a space where everyone conflicts with everyone else. And war is "green" against "blue," "this country" against "that country. I see war as a social phenomenon, unlike violence, which can be considered part of a biological program.
To some extent this becomes inertia: war is only possible when there is high social cohesion, which arises when there is an external threat. Can we break out of this cycle where we are only together when we are threatened by something? To be honest, I am pessimistic - nothing unites us like the principle of "us against them. Politicians have been using it since time immemorial.
