Journal Question #8

One of TA's pillars is Responsibility.  You can think of responsibility as both personal and social: you have a responsibility to yourself, your family, your friends, your colleagues at work or school; you also have a wider responsibility to your society, your country, your planet.  How do you define responsibilty? What does it mean to act responsibly?

Responsibility is defined as acting independently and making decisions without authorization. It might sound simple when you help other people make decisions, but when you are in the position of choosing ones, we struggle a lot. We have had responsibility since the day we were born, but most people still cannot excel at it. My definition of responsibility is working effectively, prepared to take responsibility/learn from mistakes.

For me responsibility is to accomplish the tasks that you are supposed to do in school in your house etc. But also responsibility is that you are responsible to follow rules. For me to act responsibility is by doing the good things that the people and yourself expect that if you do you will have a good impact no matter how small that thing is.

Responsibility is a duty and a task. Rules and regulations that must be followed by individual members of society are mandatory. It appears with the emergence of human society, there is a social responsibility. Sense of responsibility is an important index to measure one's spiritual quality. Responsibility arises from mutual commitment in social relations. In the social arena, each role often implies a responsibility. When we take on a responsibility, there is a price to pay, but it also means the right to receive something in return.

Responsibility is something that as you grow older you will have more responsibilities both with your family and in a job in your daily life, making responsible decisions is to make safe and thoughtful decisions in a responsible way because there comes a point in your life that the things you do have to have a certain amount of responsibility.

My understanding of responsibility can generally be divided into two meanings. The first refers to the social morality, the individual should do things, such as duty, responsibility, job responsibility and so on. The second refers to the unfavorable consequences or mandatory obligations that should be undertaken for failing to do a good job in one's own work. Responsibility consciousness is "wanting to do things"; responsibility ability is "being able to do things"; responsible behaviors are "real things"; responsibility systems are "can do things"; responsibility results are "doing things". Responsibility is a kind of spiritual outlook, a kind of ideological realm, and a concrete manifestation of the advanced nature of a Communist Party member. Responsibility gives courage, wisdom and strength. As a child, it is a responsibility to grow up happily without causing trouble for adults. In the student stage, study hard without causing trouble, and getting good grades is the responsibility. Work, do your job well, and achieve performance is your responsibility. When you have a family, you have the old and the young, and it is your responsibility to take care of your loved ones, children, the elderly and other relatives. These are the most basic things to do with responsibility.

  6. When I think about what responsibility is, there are three facts that come to my head. The first one is the fact of having control over someone or of having to deal with a problem. The second one it’s the ability to act independently and make decisions on your own without authorization. And the third one is the fact of blaming something or being accountable. Also if you want to act responsibly first you have to know how to deal with problems and people, know how to be independent and know how to recognize your faults in all situations.

for me, responsibility is when you are mature enough and you can see what’s good to do and what’s bad. When your parents give you the responsibility to take care of your sibling or whoever it means that they’ve seen that you know what they can and cannot do.

Responsibility is a thing that you need to do. Taking care of yourself is one of the responsibilities. Finishing your homework on time also is one of the responsibilities. There’s many different ways. To be a responsible person you need to respect everyone. Be mature.

For me responsability is a duty or task that you are required or expected to do. Something that you should do because is you responsibility to do it. Also for me having responsability is very very important, if you are a responsible person you will have success in your life . Doing something with responsibility means that you are doing it in a careful, trustworthy way, and you do it responsibly.

You are responsible for your self, and you responsible for your acts, you can be responsible for someone else for an example
If you promise that you going take care after someone that’s your responsibility to do it. For me responsible means to know what your doing and don’t do shometing that you can’t handle and may cause an accident

I think that responsibility is something that every person has to do, something that every person has to live with. If people didn’t live with responsibility, the world we live in wouldn’t be the same, it would be a total disaster. Responsibility is something that it is practically obligated to know or to learn, because responsibility makes good people make good, smart choices.

  12. We are the cogs in society. When the cog starts to stop moving soon the machine will break. And it works exactly the same way inside a family, school or even a large community too. So responsibility is more like a promise to keep our community. Every person has a responsibility. It could be small or big and it could change depending on the place, but everyone has. Since responsibility is a promise and rule when you don’t take responsibility you will lose your trust from people. So take your responsibility means basically do your job that is assigned to you.

  13. I think acting responsibly is to solve your task well so that it does not harm others. If you act on behalf of something and it avoids not only me but also others, it cannot be said to have acted responsibly.
So, I think you should always think carefully and act so that you are confident and don't suffer.
Responsibility follows for everyone, and everyone should always regard life as important.
You should be responsible for your parents, friends, and everyone.

Hi Mr.Griffin This is my Journal.

For me, responsibility is a kind of dedication. When you become the leader of a group, you are accountable to your members, and when you grow up, you are expected to take care of your parents and children. It is also a responsibility. I love the saying in Spider-Man, "With great power comes great responsibility"!

Refers to what an individual should do, from commitments to others, professional requirements, ethics, laws and regulations, etc. Responsibility is a duty and a task. The rules and regulations that individual members of society must abide by are mandatory. These include legal responsibility, family responsibility, rational responsibility and social responsibility. The sense of responsibility is an important indicator to measure a person's spiritual quality. Responsibility arises from mutual commitment in social relations. In the social arena, each role often implies a responsibility. When we take on a responsibility, there is a price to pay, but it also means the right to be rewarded.

In my opinion, everybody has to have responsibility for what they do, say, and everything. Responsibility is to understand what will happen if something happens. For example, to act responsibly, such as taking care of friends, family, and yourself. If you might have done something wrong, be responsible for what you have done

I think I’m actually really responsable, and I know “teens are in the age of thinking they are really mature” but I’m being serious, growing up, the way that I did made me more mature than I should be, or at least that’s what people tell me. In my opinion responsibility is not something like remembering or to your homework, or to buy something, it’s also like, knowing what’s right and what’s wrong, or taking care of all the others, or taking decisions with a different mentality that non-responsable people would. Something I hate is when adults are more childish than teens and just because they are “the adults” they have to win all the arguments or take all the decisions for the kid, because the kids isn’t “mature enough”, and this is more common than you think.

I think responsibility is the mind to accept the influence of words and actions when you do something or talk and to handle them when something happens. So I think there is a huge burden behind the word responsibility.

Having responsibilities is very important in our life. It can gain people’s trust, build positive relationships, etc. The reasons are as a part of the society, part of the job, part of the family, there’s always something that we are engaged in. If we don’t have the responsibility, we won't be able to do the thing right. When we face any troubles, we may pass the buck, we may grab at any excuse to avoid doing it. Therefore, having responsibilities is very important.

    RESPONSIBILITY
The first thing that comes to mind when I think about responsibility is my personal responsibility. By personal responsibility I mean my duties which can be doing my homework or cleaning my room. A responsible kid is one who does the right thing without anyone asking him to do it. Responsibility can also be seen in the collective sphere. For example, Every man and must be responsible in not polluting for a better world. My responsibility is something that i need to do by my own, individually. Sent from my iPad

I think responsibility is a human quality. For example, we need to be responsible for the planet, the society, our parents and even ourselves. Everyone is born with different responsibilities. For the president, he needs to protect national security and promote national development, and for us, What we have to do now is to be responsible for ourselves and our parents, and studying hard at this age is to be responsible for everyone.

For me, responsibility is one of the most important things in life. Without being responsible it will be hard to achieve anything in your future. Responsibility grows while you grow up, because while you get older there are more things that you should worry about and more things that you
have to do. Being responsible makes people trust and rely on you way more. For me it would be just impossible to be completely irresponsible; this would make a person completely unsuccessful in everything that they do, for example being responsible is doing your homework,
taking care of your younger siblings etc. and if someone just doesn’t care about this stuff ,there will be some serious consequences.

Responsibility is the most important thing that maintains the relationship between me and others. Without responsibility, people cannot believe and always suspect each other so they cannot be closed. Also, in society, responsibility is the basic thing because it is based on relationships and reputations. People in society can easily evaluate others by using these two things. As you grow older, you get more responsibilities and you have to follow them to keep the security for society and your relationship.
