Why do you learn? To get a job? To get good grades? to get into a good college? To be praised by teachers and parents? Or do you learn for other reasons: joy, curiosity, truth, beauty, virtue? As we approach the end of the school year, write down a few thoughts on your reasons for learning.
I am learning something not to fall behind of others. Now I have lived lazy life like watching YouTube without doing my homework or self development while other people are doing their best to develop themselves. So now I feel I am very behind of most of people. So I am trying to learn academic study or even other thing that makes me improve.
ReplyDeleteI'm learning to be better, to have a great job p, to have more opportunities in life, I'm also learning to challenge myself, and prove myself that I'm capable to do whatever I want, I also want to make my parents proud because they are working hard for me to be here and I want to show them how much I appreciated by studying.

ReplyDeleteI learn to be happy in the future. In Japan, many people say that studying is an investment for the future. But it sounds like I study because my parents say to study. Honestly, it’s actually right because I don’t know why I study. I have been wondering why since I was in middle school. I dislike high school education in Japan. That’s why I want to learn here. I believe that we are learning to know why we study. So, my goal is to know why people study.

ReplyDeleteI learn for knowledge, of course. I study not because of being forced by someone, but for myself and my future (although sometimes it's true that I'm forced to). However, there are a lot of reasons beside knowledge, such as good grades or to be accepted into a good college. That may seems practical, but it's very important for one's career and life. Of course school and college is not the only way to get a good life, but whichever way we choose, we have to learn, for sure.

Learning ingrained in our instinct since the time we were born. There are many reasons why we learn. We might learn from curiosity,ambitious,intrigued,etc. We study to understand and sought for answers.Learning is an eternal voyage in life.I think all those matters come to a point is to improve oneself.

Although school, homework and exams aren’t things that I like, learning about something I am interested in is something that I like. I feel everyone should have at least a minimum of knowledge to be able to live nowadays.

And, we can understand how the world created by learning history. like these examples, we can be a great person by learning something. The study also helps you improve knowledge and apply it everyday life.
The reason I learn is for a better future. Learning builds up knowledge, uses it to get a job, gets a job, and then makes money. Without learning, there's nothing you can do. We can certainly be good people if we have a lot of knowledge. You can do a lot of things, you can make a lot of money, and you'll get good results if you try best.

Learning, not being forced by someone, is voluntary and is the most essential thing in our lives.
I really go to school because they force me, and since I have no other option because I take advantage of it to learn something, like the job I want does not need studies, it is not in a voluntary way that I go to school, even so I also take advantage of it so that in case hypothetically they do not catch me in the job of my dreams (which I doubt very much) because I will have more opportunities in other jobs.

The purpose of learning is to adapt to society, to improve abilities, and to realize the value of life. There are many ways to learn, you can learn from books, you can learn from celebrities, you can learn from people around you, etc. The most important thing is to turn other people's things into your own things, turn things from the past into things of the present, and find a way that suits you and adapts to the present and the future.
