Earth Day is April 22nd. We humans have only one home, and we haven't done a very good job taking care of it. What do you see as the biggest threat to Mother Earth? Do you have any ideas about how to reduce or eliminate this threat? Is it possible, in the future, that the human race would leave Earth and start a new civilization on another planet?

The biggest threat is mankind. Of course, I don't think the threat of mankind is to the earth. It's about human beings themselves. Even if mankind starts the Third World War, big powers throw nuclear weapons at each other, mankind enters the nuclear winter, and finally the race of mankind perishes. But what about the earth? As long as the Sun continues to generate energy, new creatures will be born on the earth, and human beings will only become "dinosaurs" in the mouth of new creatures. As for whether it is possible to leave the earth, I think it is possible to go to a new planet in a hundred years. At the present stage, we can only allow human beings to live in space very close to the earth.
ReplyDeleteThe biggest threat is mankind. The thread is to the Earth and Human being themselves too. Mankind has changed the climate fastest Earth have ever changed. We are just appeared around 1,5 million years ago and completely changed Earth climate which is usually took more than 10 million years to changed by itself. And the Earth have never seen any type of life can destroy itself or can destroy Earth like us before. These things show that how humankind affect the Earth a lot through our history until now. We could leave the Earth in the future and that future won't be that far away. Today, we are trying to go to Mars and try to terraform Mars. Company like SpaceX and Countries began a new Space Race
ReplyDeleteI think biggest threat to planet Earth are the people. Our planet has chance to renew itself if people allow it. I consider that our natural system is most idealistic system ever made, and also that people couldn’t ever make system like our natural system. I think our part is to save the nature, by reducing gases , not cutting the trees and have “green zones” in big cities...
ReplyDeleteThe Earth is the most idealistic system ever and the humans think that there is nothing better than them and nothing they do is wrong. But that isn’t true, we are the ones who threaten the Earth and we should start changing our way of thinking.
ReplyDeleteWe should start doing what they ask us to do, like recycling, using more public transportation and more so little by little we can make the Earth better. As I don’t really think we should be able to live on another planet we should take care of ours.
It's obviously humans which are the biggest threat toward earth.Even though people know their creations are affecting earth. Which might be a big threat in the future. Most people seem to neglect those consequences. Indeed there are actions taken regarding the preservation of earth much as reducing use of plastic. It’s not enough to maintain nature. I surmise people will be going to other planets like Mars. A few decades ago, people would never think about facetimes,calls,etc are possible in an instant. People's assumptions about the future are likely incorrect but it likely surpasses their imagination.
ReplyDeleteIm pretty sure that the pollution on environment is getting better and better. Most countries agreed to reduce the releasing of carbon dioxide. Moreover, a lot of corporation try to find an alternative resource like electricity. These efforts would make earth’s environment much better than before. Furthermore, Nasa, Space x and lots of minor companies try to find an another planet to live by developing astronomical technology. Humans will find a solution to overcome difficulties as before.-Cha-
ReplyDeleteThere are too many threats to the Earth. Air pollution, soil contamination, radioactive contamination, water pollution and lots of other pollution. However, I think air pollution is one of the most dangerous pollution, because air and water is the most important things for human life. The biggest cause of air pollution is gas from car and factories. Therefore, lots of people realize that we have to do something for the Earth. Lots of companies that make car try to make an electronic cars. And I hope and I think that we can live in the other planet in the future, because lots of scientists are keep trying to find planet that people can live.

DeleteWell, I believe that the greatest threat to the earth is humans since we are destroying it and I believe that if people began to have a little more awareness of what is happening with the world, then they would stop being so uncivil and not I mean that they change their lifestyle completely, I mean that they do little things that help the environment, and I think that in a few years there will be a portion of our population living on Mars since little by little it They will improve to be able to live there, also people will continue to live here.

There are too many different threats to the Earth.
ReplyDeleteThere is a lot of water pollution, air pollution, radioactive containment, etc. on Earth. There are many other problems. But these are the most serious issues. Without the most important water and air, you can die or become seriously ill. Therefore, short distances should be go by walking and we should stop using factories. If it keeps getting this serious, we may have to pay for water later or live on another planet.
So people have to feel serious and work for the planet from now on.
I think that the humans are the worse thread in the earth, we are not taking care of our mother earth and that's no really nice, we should stop the pollution and start taking care of the animals so let's take care
ReplyDeleteIf the global warming goes like this fast the earth won’t be human’s home anymore. Like the ice in North Pole has been melting progressively so then a lot of polar bears are dying. There is way to reduce this phenomenon. First is reducing greenhouse gasses. Recycle the trash properly. I think people won’t be able to avoid our home earth because of their greed of ownership. That’s why large companies are trying to invent rocket which can travel people to the Mars. So someday people will be able to inhabit in that planet. This sounds kind of scary for me since everything will change about our habitats.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, the biggest threat is unfortunately human. If we try to develop technology, we need row material such as woods gold staff like that. To get woods, we need to cut trees down as well. But this is a bd thing for the earth. As you know, we have developed by taking nature from the earth. Also we have grown air pollution. So, the biggest threat is human. I’m not sure it’s possible to live in another planet but if it’s possible, it’s a good thing because that means the threat is removed. Anyway we have to protect nature on the earth if we live in this planet.
ReplyDeleteRight now, the Earth has too many problems. But this earth will get better and better. There is a lot of effort around the world to solve this problem and scientists are working hard. We need to reduce carbon dioxide use and reduce factory use. Rather than using disposable items, you should continue to recycle plastic and reduce waste use. And the alternative energy.

I am sure that human beings are the greatest threat to the earth. There are too many threats to the earth, air pollution, soil pollution, radioactive pollution, water pollution and many other pollutions. Even if people know that what they are doing is polluting the earth, they still do it because these things will give them benefits. In fact, many actions have been taken to protect the earth, reducing the use of plastics, reducing carbon dioxide emissions, and reducing sewage emissions. But with the current human technology, I don’t think it can reduce a lot of pollution or restore the earth’s environment to normal. In the future, human beings will definitely leave the earth, but they will never find a place like the earth.

ReplyDeleteIn opinion in the future we will have more than one home which means we can find another planet to live but for now we still have one home which is earth And the biggest problem we have now just so you are environmental problems, so we need to save electricity and use less paper to save earth. :)
ReplyDeleteI think the biggest problem with Earth now is human. The data shows that our planet is being harmed really badly by human impacts. But I believe that human can change this world and even find somehow to live on another planet. However that will be very long from now, I will not be able to see that before I go.

I think the biggest threat to the earth is the pollution brought by human beings and the break of the biological chain caused by hunters. Many animals die because they have no food. The ozone layer of the earth is polluted by people's excessive release of carbon dioxide and other gases, resulting in the rupture of the ozone layer. Ultraviolet rays are getting bigger and bigger on the earth.
