- I have been a language teacher (ESL/ELL, French) for 30 years. I have taught in public and private schools, immersion programs, refugee programs, adult/continuing education, elementary, middle, and high school as well as university. Currently I teach ELL at a high school somewhere in New England.
I am not a big fan of art but I love visiting museums with my friends last weekend we went to fine arts museum in Boston I had a great time with all of my friends there were many expositions but my favorite was called “murals” it was really pretty.
ReplyDeleteI not a huge art fan so I don’t know many artist or the names of many paintings but my favorite artist doesn’t paint for museums he actually is street artist, he’s name is bansky and he makes street paintings that has hidden meanings from politics or life in general. My favorite painting from him is the girl with a balloon.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite visual artist is Michelangelo. Arts was my worst subject in primary school.because I don't have any arts talent. So sometimes I envy those who can draw. But if I let me finish a painting, I will try to finish.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite artist is Vincent Van Gogh. I also like drawing in my space time to relax myself although my painting skill is not good. I think drawing is also a language. If the artist wants to show something or some thoughts, we can find them in his artwork.

ReplyDeleteI don’t like art, but I will write about Frida kahlo one of the most important artist in the Mexican history, also his face is in the 500 bill of the Mexican money, his art is extravagant but is a good representation of the Mexican culture.

ReplyDeleteI’m not a person who likes to be looking to a lot of art, but I like painting and drawing. I am at the visual arts class and I Like it. I think my favorite artist is Van Gogh. My favorite painting is the starry night.
I’m a huge fan of modern art or graffiti paintings ,I have gone to museums in Boston with my family when they come visit me ,I have gone museums kinda all around the world I think the arts express the culture of a country. My favorite artist Alec Monopoly.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, I don’t have artist I admire. If I have to choose, I will choose Van Gogh. And in his life, he was very poor and unlucky, because nobody liked his paintings. However, after several hundreds years, he became very famous in the world. I like his spirit that persistent and patient.
ReplyDeleteI not a huge fan of art but I already visited a lot of museum or culture from different country whit my family .I like arts but I am not a huge fan . The arts that I like the most is the street art . I don’t have a favorite artist.
ReplyDeleteI don’t have a favorite artist. But I like drawing pictures. I often draw Disney characters. The art style I am interested in recently is Japanese ink brush painting. They are very fantastic.
ReplyDeleteIm interest about new type of art but I don’t remember old art much what I studied in school back home. I don’t specific artist that i like but i have seen many different designs that one youtuber has made. He’s using his own name what is marko. He’s from california and he is senior at high school. He is designing clothes, shoes, walls, cars, and phone’s too.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite style is the renaissance and inside of that style Botticelli, I like every drawing of Botticelli. I like the Renaissance because is a like a reborn, they started to put the human as the first one and leave apart God.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite artist is a Thomas Kinkade. He is a famous painter who reinvented Disney and made Disney movies known through his paintings. He has also published several books and has been hired to work on background pictures of animated films. He is now known as the most popular and successful artist modern artist.

My favorite artist is Vincent Van Gogh. He is very famous painter and I like his art called “The starry night”.

Actually, I do not have much knowledge of art. However, when I travel with my family, I always went to the museum in that country and saw the artworks of painters. My favorite painter is Auguste Renoir because the colors that he uses to paint are warm and the atmosphere on his painting is comfortable and warm.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite artist is Antoni Gaudí because he was born in Barcelona, Spain and he did Great artworks and designs like “la sagrada familia” or “park güell” in Barcelona and many others. My favorite one is “la sagrada familia” because is very old and beautiful that building starts to build on 1882 and today they are keep working on it.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite artist is Picasso. I learned art as a child for him. His works can make me feel that I am in them, and each painting has a unique feature. I collected his pen since I was a child, because he now makes my art cell very high. I can enjoy each of his works, and I like each of his works very much.

My favorite artist is Joseph Mallord William Turner. I actually like to take landscape pictures, and the artist has drawn a lot of landscape paintings and I loved the landscape. In fact, I have never been to a museum, but I want to go to the museum someday to see the artist's paintings. I don't know much about the author yet, but I want to know more.

I like leonardo Da Vinci's paintings, is one of the most favorite painting Mona Lisa, the Mona Lisa is the Renaissance painter leonardo Da Vinci painted portraits, is his representative work, and no matter what will feel her eyes moving, I compared, I prefer the style of painting is painting and weird
ReplyDeleteI am not a big fan of art and not interesting in art. But i like hang picture on the wall in house. My favorite picture is ‘The last supper’ from Leonardo da Vinci. It looks really fancy and when I hang on the house wall it looks really good.

ReplyDeleteI like to go to museum and see incredible artworks there. Among the great artists, I like Andy Warhol. He is a visual artist who had a big influence in the field of pop art. My favorite work is ‘Campbell’s Soup Cans’, which is the most famous one. My second favorite artist is Lionel Messi because he is an artist in the field, he score a lot of magic goals and throw the untroubled passes.

ReplyDeleteI don't have any special favorite artists, but I know a famous artist Leonardo da Vinci. He's 15 April 1452 – 2 may 1519. Before his death, he had many famous paintings. As the famous one is the Mona Lisa, the female portrait without eyebrows.
Van Gogh is my favorite artist. I like painting, but my technique is not very good. But I will do my best to complete this painting, I think painting can make people relax
ReplyDeleteI usually do n’t like to look at paintings, so I do n’t have any artists I like very much for the time being, but those good works of art can really make people feel different.
ReplyDeleteI am not a big fan of art, I like to spend time with video games for free time. Also I don’t have favorite artist but I really like Mona Lisa artwork of Leonardo. This is the most popular artwork in the works.
ReplyDeleteI really don’t like too much of art because I don’t have passion and not good of it. But I think I prefer Leonardo da Vinci. Specially the picture of Mona Lisa which has a lot of the hidden mystery in that painting. Nowadays, it is the most famous and the greatest of artwork in the world
ReplyDeleteI like Van Gogh's paintings more. I think his works are the most influential. I think his paintings are out of date, but his paintings are not favored by people at the time. My favorite is his "Sunflower"

The artist I like is Van Gogh, and his work can always give someone a particularly shocking feeling, so that his work can still be amazing a few years later. Genius is always short-lived,Vincent Van Gogh shot himself in a mental disorder and was only 37 years old.

ReplyDeleteIn his early years, he worked as a carpenter and then made a living selling paintings. He settled in Beijing at the age of 57. Good at painting flowers, birds, insects, fish, mountains and rivers, figures, ink vigorous moist, colorful bright, concise and vivid modeling.
Qi baishi sold paintings when he was young, for the sake of simplicity, to the number of the picturesque vegetables, melon, fruit, chicken, duck, fish and shrimp, there are a number of paintings, to a number of money. Someone wants a picture of a shrimp. When qi baishi finished painting, there were several shrimps on the picture. The man looked at the picture and asked for an extra shrimp, as is often the case in a vegetable market. Qi baishi was not happy, but he took the pen and added a shrimp to the picture. The man looked at the picture and saw that the shrimp was painted as if it were gone, lifeless and strange. Qi baishi said, "the shrimp you want to add is not within the price, so I drew a dead shrimp for you as a free gift."
His representative works are shrimps and Double crab diagram of begonia.
I don't particularly like a painter, but I have a favorite painting, Hayao Miyazaki's Sky City, which makes people look dreamy and beautiful.
