Responsibility is one of TA's four pillars. What does responsibility mean to you? For a teacher, responsibility includes making lessons, teaching classes, assessing students' abilities, grading students' work, and, generally, helping students learn. What responsibilities does a student have? You can also talk about other responsibilities: those of a son or daughter, of a friend, a roommate, a teammate, etc.

- I have been a language teacher (ESL/ELL, French) for 30 years. I have taught in public and private schools, immersion programs, refugee programs, adult/continuing education, elementary, middle, and high school as well as university. Currently I teach ELL at a high school somewhere in New England.
the responsibilities I have here in America are having a high average of school grades, respecting all the dorm rules, and not disappointing my family.
ReplyDeleteResponsibility is one of the important skills for everyone. But for me, I am studying here to have a high scores as much as possible that I can do it. Secondly, I will make my family to proud of me. Finally, I will do all of the rules that school and dorm make it and make some international friends.

ReplyDeleteResponsibility is important in everyone’s life but in my case responsibility means to do my homework,respect the dorm rules,manage my money and organize myself to do dorm jobs also it means to call my parents everyday and my grandparents once a week.

DeleteI think responsibility is very important value that people should have and I should have. My responsibilities as a student are study hard in class, do my homework everyday, listen carefully to teachers, and be kind to other classmates. ReplyDeleteI remember listening to the radio one time, I heard a message, the message is as follows: a middle school student rushed to school, at that time it was 1:45 to 2:00 noon, the student may be very late in a hurry, regardless of traffic rules, at that time it was almost red light, he still rushed out of the sidewalk. When I rushed to the zebra crossing, I said, "Sound" soon. A taxi came rushing from the side. Maybe the passengers were in a hurry. It was obviously speeding. The middle school student was hit and died on the spot. I wonder why everyone has no responsibility. If there is no responsibility in the world, do you want to live in such a world? The evil forces kill and set fire all day long. The police have no sense of responsibility and let them go unpunished. Others have no sense of responsibility. Traffic jams, red lights and tail chases often occur at intersections. Is this the world we live in? If everyone knows this, will the world be in chaos? So, take advantage of the world has not become that way, we quickly take responsibility, otherwise, the world will be destroyed in our hands. Take responsibility, only take responsibility, the world will become harmonious, if not take responsibility, the world will be destroyed by human beings themselves.

ReplyDeleteFor me responsibility mean to be someone trustworthy. Some of the responsibility’s I have is doing homework, work in class, and following dorm rules. Also when I tell someone I will do something come through with that.

The role of a teacher is to use classroom instruction and presentations to help students learn and apply concepts such as math, English, and science. Teachers prepare lessons, grade papers, manage the classroom, meet with parents, and work closely with school staff.

ReplyDeleteOur responsibilities as roommates are something we can't ignore in them. Apart from school, we international students spend the most time in the dorm, so our responsibilities are very important in the dorm. For example, we need to tidy up our rooms, we need to do dorm works to keep the dorm clean, and we also need to treat everyone in the dormitory kindly and respect the dorm parents.
I think responsibility is what everybody should have because you need responsibility for everything like for example do your homework and hand it in on time or be on class on time and wake up early those are responsibilities that are showing us that we need responsibility for everything. My responsibilities are for example keep my room clean,wake up early to school ,etc.
