Computers, cell phones, television, iPads; email, instant-messaging, texting, twittering, facebook, google, snapchat... The list of distractions for people in general, and students in particular, goes on and on. Do you do your HW with the laptop open and the smart phone on? Do these devices distract you from your work? Is it hard to concentrate on one subject at a time? Let me know your thoughts about all the technology that surrounds us and how it affects your learning.
I get distract easily from my phone so it takes me longer to get my work done and after I made to put my phone away, It’s so easy that you are distracted by the Ipad, I don’t really like computers ipads and cell phones for study they are good for other things, I think that cell phones are not goods for boys amd girls because we are always looking at the phone.
ReplyDeleteI usually use electronic devices such as: computer, telephone, tablet to do my homework, it is a strategic way for me to do my homework, seldom do these devices distract me when doing my homework, a way that these devices do not distract is to put them in airplane mode and silent mode, with that I can do my tasks without distractions, for my point of view these devices is the main basis of distraction in adolescents as long as you use these devices for important uses will not be a distraction to you, as for example me that these devices do not distract me easily.

phone. When I use my mobile phone, I will learn very little about my learning efficiency. When I
want to write homework, I will refuse to use my mobile phone and find a quiet place. There are a
lot of interesting apps on my phone, and I will spend a lot of time on these apps. When I have no
knowledge in learning, I also use my mobile phone to learn.
This new technology’s distracts me a lot and to do my homework’s it’s better when I keep myself far of this things. It’s hard to concentrate in one subject at the time because all the time this new technology’s are calling me and this gets harder. In my opnion when you are working you can not take your electronics device with you because this probably will distract you.

DeleteI think no,I usually listen music when I do my homework, and I enjoy it,because I like to focus something while I listen music,and I won’t be distracted by the phones or iPad, because I know what should I do first and finish ,and what is important and what is not .so, I won’t be distracted.

So when I write my homework, I will open the flight mode so that there is no message to bother me. But I will listen to the song and write homework, so I think it can improve my writing efficiency.

But sometime I still computer, iPad, smart phone distract me. So I try to stay away from these devices when I do my homework.

I do that because if a have questions about my homeworks I be able to search in google,maybe I can ask to my dorm parents but it’s more faster if I search in google but I never use my phone when I’m studying because I think it can be a distraction for me. I usually use my iPad to do my homework.I think these equipment is very helpful for my study. Sometimes I can use my iPad or my phone search some English words in the dictionary. I also can use youtube to watch some math videos or another academic video.
ReplyDeleteI don't think smart electronic products will affect my reading. I can search for a lot of relevant learning materials on my mobile phone to help me learn. When I am tired, I can also listen to the song through the iPad and relax myself so that I can re-enter the learning state more quickly.

ReplyDeleteWhat I mostly use is my phone and my computer and them don’t actually distract me it help me if i’m doing homework and I don’t understand a word i use translate, but still sometimes can be distracting.I think it’s good to have your phone always with you for whatever emergency.
