Imagine you could create a school. Describe its classes, schedule, teachers, buildings, rules. What would your school have? What would it not have? For instance, maybe your school would have class sizes no larger than 15 students. Or maybe your school would make all students learn two or more world languages. Maybe students could take only classes they wanted to take... Let your imagination take over!

- I have been a language teacher (ESL/ELL, French) for 30 years. I have taught in public and private schools, immersion programs, refugee programs, adult/continuing education, elementary, middle, and high school as well as university. Currently I teach ELL at a high school somewhere in New England.
My school would be formed by an approximate of 100 students, 25 of ninth grade, 25 of degree 10, 25 of degree 11 and 25 of degree 12. My school had as obligation to choose 6 subjects in any grade that you are studying, the schedules would be From 9am to 1:45 pm, it will be mandatory in those 6 subjects to take a language course, my school has 10 languages to choose from, you can also get an iPad and an apple brand phone to study with them, the teachers will be specialized for each matter, my school is open to any student regardless of gender, color, religion, cultures, disabilities. The good thing about this new school that I'm about to open is that we will not have homework, everything will be done in class.
ReplyDeleteIf I can create a school, I would let the student pick what they like and what they don’t like,and I will let the both lesson add to the students class,they can enjoy their favorite class,but also should go they hated class,because that’s will let the student know everything and very happy,I will let them pick teachers ,they won’t go the bad teachers class,and they can come school at 9am and finish at 2am.
ReplyDeleteIf I created a school, this school should have teaching building ，playground ，gym ，cafeteria and dorm. I can create many classes. Any class should have ten students. Every student should have five subjects. Every class has many countries students. In our school have eight languages to choose from. Any class, students can use the phone or iPad to study. School schedule is from 8:45 am to 2 pm. All of the above is my opinion.
ReplyDeleteIf I can create a school. I will arrange a variety of courses as far as possible for children to play their own good and favorite. The teachers and students I apply for can give students a warmth and can get along with classmates like friends. Students choose their own courses. But students need to learn and master what they have learned (being serious while studying). The teacher's teaching is to make students interested in various courses. I think that having an interest in the course will allow students to better study the course.
ReplyDeleteIf I can create a school, the school academic system and the education system must be a top best. The everything should be the students are first things. Well the students can choose any courses they like.the school open at 9 am, and off time is 6 pm. The graduate should be like 40 classes for 4 years.
ReplyDeleteMy school in my imagination would have only 9th to 12th. The facilities would include courts and fields for each individual sports, a big separate library building, a theatre, a gymnasium with air conditioner and of course some academic buildings. The students must wear uniform to school because I get used to wearing uniform in my country and I would not have to decide what to wear at night for tomorrow school day. All students must take at least 5 classes. Class would start at 10am and end at 4:15pm everyday. Students would have a three-day weekend everymonth and homework would be asked to due whenever students want within a quarter.

ReplyDeleteIf I have a school, my school style will be like TA, there are many courses, there are many activities and sports. I will control the people number of schools a little less. I will let the students have their own choices. They can choices freedom.If the student's grades is A,They can use the grades to redeem snacks.I will wear a uniform school uniform at an important festival in the school. This will make me feel the importance of the festival.This is my imagined school.
ReplyDeleteMy dream school is beautiful. Classes begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m. every day. There are only four classes a day. Schools have classes for them to learn. Children can choose their favorite lessons. The total number of schools should not be too large, so that there are fewer people in each class. Teachers can pay more attention to each student. My school is open to any student regardless of race, colour, country, disability. I hope someday I can create this school.

ReplyDeleteIf you let me create a school, I will teach him in accordance with his aptitude, and will choose him according to her or his personality and hobbies, and give full play to his specialties. My philosophy is to let students grow up in happiness, learn knowledge, and learn to be human. ReplyDeleteIf I can create a school, I will recruit many excellent teachers and set up very fair and reasonable school rules. Give rewards to students with good grades. Unsatisfactory results will give more care and encouragement, let them firmly believe, and continue to study hard with confidence. A variety of activities are often held to allow students to relax
ReplyDeleteIf I had to create for me the most important thing would be the schedule, the classes would start at 10 a.m and finish at 1:30 p.m., I would help the students to choose the subjects that they like the most so that they like to go to class. I would also have many breaks so that students can go to play soccer. Of course the most important thing in my school would be the sport in particular soccer.
ReplyDeleteMy school will be 15 people in the class.They can choose every class that they want.There will be a complete gym in the school to ensure the health of the students.There will be delicious food in the dining hall.Student should do exercise before school and after school.
ReplyDeleteIf I where to create my own school it would be a little like this high school except instead kids wouldnt have to take the classes they dont want to. I think in high school we should be able to choose are classes based on what we want to do in the future, or what we like to do.
