Journal Question #12

Ever feel stressed out by school?  What are some good ways to cope with, avoid, or eliminate stress?  What can a student do to make his/her life at school as stress-free as possible?  Share some tips with your fellow students, and read some of your classmates' ideas; you might find out ways to improve your life at TA and beyond!

    Stress is an inevitable when you have having a class that overwhelm you or a class that contains high amount of information. In fact stress is really deadly, it makes you have a higher chances to get each kind of heart diseases. But in fact there are so many ways to deal with stress. For example, you can listen to music, you can play sports that's fun for you, you can talk to one of your friend or an adult that you trust about it, Or even eating something helps. Go out and get your favorite flavor of ice cream! In fact, someone studied about stress. And she discovered that stress actually helps you out. When you stress, your heard pump faster, and it's also a sign of your body getting ready for new challenges.

  2. There is pressure in the school, so you should take a deep breath in the morning exercise, meditation, sleep again. Or do something you like, the sky roar a few, a few hours in a daze, perhaps second days will happen. School stress is generally caused by work or the environment, these are not a big problem, as long as the rest can ease. For example, snowday can relieve stress. In short, the pressure will not always be with you, when it appears to be calm and positive response.

  3. Sometimes I feel under pressure on academic studying. And the only way I know to release pressure is to hang out with friends. Therefore, make friends is an important skill to release pressure. And I don't think it's possible to be stress free as a student. As a student you need to face many problem from all aspects.

I am actually under pressure in getting used to the school life and language,keep memorizing the words.All of them will produce the stress occasionally which bothers you for a period of time.For me,the origin of pressure is puzzled about the knowledge that we have learned,also have trouble understanding what the teacher said.Naturally,you will be afraid of this and want to change what you are not satisfied with.In most cases,students don't find a way to solve it,with that their grade is falling down.If you face your bad grade,you must be nervous definitely.It is urgent to use some pratical methods to solve.As a student,teacher is a reliable person who you can trust .It is not only your mentor,but also is your friend.Most importance,teacher understands
    your study status and give suggestions on the basic of your study situation.For me,as it is today.I have no idea about my physics project and can't imagine the relationship among force,time and impulse.During the class ,I was so helpless that I cannot finish the experiment even I asked classmates for help.At the end ,I didn't get any data,that means cannot finish the project.After school,I asked my physics teacher Mr.Goulet.He explained the project patiently and wrote down the notice on the paper,the whole paper .Fortunately,with the help of him,I succeed to finish my project tonight.Pressure issues from the gap between expectations and reality ,which leads to psychological
    dropt,further intensify your stress.Reading a book also a good method.Everyone have different thoughts to reduce their stress in life and study,there is always a suitable for their own .

  5. Sometimes I will feel stressed out by school because of test or grade. I think we can fine some interesting things like sports or instruments to cope with stress. As a student, I think we can make a study plan to make life easier, we can be organized to finish our work, then we can have spare time for our habbits. It's also will help us have a good grade and be easy on studying. The last but not the least, we should have positive attitude. It will help us to solve the problems and be stress-free.

  6. I always get tons of pressure and stress from all of the school work and text. One thing people can do to avoid stress is don't think of those bad thing happened on you, just forget it, and take it as a lesson. You got a F on quiz, fine, forget it and go home work harder. What would i do to all the time to be stress free is listening music. Music is always the best way to reduce stress, especially on big music fan. Second is laugh, talking to friends, make jokes, laugh out loud. Laughing is also a great way reduce stress.

  7. Before the test, I will get a lot of pressure and street for the class. I always like listening music to make me feel relax. If I have too much pressure, I prefer to play basketball all afternoon. When you play basketball with your friend or you play games with another guys, you will forgot all of things except baketball. Different people have different way to make themself relax. You need to find your own idea.

  9. As high school students, we always feel stressed at school. We have too much homework and have to keep our grades. So it is very important for us to eliminate our stress. Doing sports is a good way for students to relax. Second, you can join different clubs after school to enrich your life. It is also a effective way to break. Third, you can hang out with friends and communicate with them to release pressure. All of these are useful to eliminate stress. It can make people feel comfortable and help people to solve problems easily.

  10. Everyone deals with stress. It is an unfortunate reality of human nature. For many teens, a large source of this stress is school-related. I do feel stressed out by school sometimes. I think everyone does. We have to manage our homework and studying while trying to stay sane. Also, with the pressure to get into a good college. Especially the night before the test, we would worry about if we can get a good grade on the test. Stress has become a health epidemic in high school around the country. Some stress is natural, even possible. It may help you to improve your grade. But if you begin feeling physically sick, you should start changing your lifestyle. For cope with stress, I usually hang out with my friends, or do something I interested in, like painting and listening music. Also, you can talk to someone that you trust, your friends, you counselor and your parents, the might be able to give you some suggestions, that will make you to feel better. The important thing for me to cope with stress is draw out a schedule. Get a planner and write down all of your obligations. Figure out when you will work on each of your assignments and try to leave some times to relax. Schedule some free time everyday!!!!

  12. Of course we will feel stresses either at school or at home. When I at home, I'll do anything I want that can help to remove stress. I can cry, screaming, through away stuff, that help me to cool down. When we at school, there's a lot of people around you, you can't cry or screaming, you need to find another way to claim down. It's can be stop talking and get along or you can talk with your friends, get some encouragement, maybe that will let you feel better. There's lots of ways to remove stresses, you can use these ways, just don't keep it by yourself.

  13. I always feel stressed out by school.I almost have quiz everyday so I have to review after finish homerwork every night.Therefore I often feel upset and I will listen to music to relax myself or sleep.Chatting with friends or watching movies are also good ways to be stress-free.

  14. Everyone have different kinds of stress in everywhere. For the teenagers, most of the stress has happened in the school. Lots of the student will feel stressed before the quiz or the test coming. I always feel stressed in my weak subject. I can't not sleep well if there have a math test tomorrow. I will be nervous and uncomfortable about it. There have some ways for me to relax when I feel stress. I like listening to music when I nervous. The relax music always make me feel better. So, if you feel stressed sometimes like me. You can try listen to the music.

  15. In fact, I don't feel really stressed out after I came to America. The school work is much easier than that in China. The pressure I feel usually came out because of the language. Sometime when I can't understand the teacher or can't fix the homework because of vocabularies, I feel stressed out. The only way can help is start earlier than others. It will make you to have more time on the problems on language. Here comes another problem. Because there is no one who push you for the homework, so we should planning our time very carefully, and make sure all the things is done in time. Planning time will help a lot, not only on homework, also on the school life.

  16. Actually I am not stressful because if school. To my mind if somebody is in stress he/she could do agaist it. I think he/she should try not to think about it. He/she should go for training because it clearesthe air or he/she should listen to music or go out with friends.

  17. In fact, I don't think my shcool life is stressful because the school work is much more easier than my middle school. I believe that if somebody feel stressed, he might have some challenges or something hard to solve. So, I don't think stress is a bad thing for us. If we change a way to see the stress, you will see that stress is our good friend.
    For example, when you didn't finish your homework, you will feel stressed. And that means thAt the stress mentioned you that you can't do that anymore. So, stress is not bad.

I think the best way to relax in the school life for me is do sports.Because I think exercise can not only physical fitness,but also can relax,for me this is the best way out of learning pressure.We also can watch movies.It can not only relax the body,you can also take advantage of this opportunity to remember a few new words this is a good way to relax and learn at the same time. I think it also is a good choice.

I think the stress comes out it's depends on different situations.For example when I went to elementary school,I didn't even feel stressed out on my work,but when I was a middle school student,I felt more stressed out to focused on my work. I'm a high school student now,When I had many quizzes and tests I will be tension and more pressure than other times.
    If you feel stress out by school,I think some good ways are do some exercises,to loose your body and make yourself relax,you can also listen to some pleasant music,change your mood to unwind,you can chat with your friends,hang out with them in the weekend.

  20. Stress is inevitable for everybody. It's can be good or bad for people. As for me, too much stress will make me feel tired that I just want to rest. But appropriate stress can give me impetus that I can study harder. So the problem is what should we do when we are so stressful. My suggestion is to do something that you would love to do. For example if you like singing, you can put everything away and relax. Just do things that can make you feel stress-free. Everyone will have stress sometimes, do not try to bear it because you will be more and more stressful. Find your own way to make yourself stress-free.

  21. Face and accept your tension. You should be aware that your nervousness is normal, and a lot of people may be more nervous than you are in certain situations. Instead of confrontation with such an uneasy mood, experience it and accept it.   22. As a student, every spare minute seems to be filled with worrying. I feel like I have to achieve something and make plans for my future. Instead of relaxing and having fun. Then I feel myself under pressure everything goes wrong. My solution is doing exercise. Doing sport as least once a week is the best way to reduce stress. It helps your body produce endorphins which make you feel good.

  23. Everybody may have stress, no matter where you are. Just depends on how much it is. I think in the school I will have more stress, at home I can do something make me feel better. But in school I have to hold on my feeling, I cannot to do something to let my feel better. That's why I feel more relax at home more than school.

  24. I almost never experience stress . But, when I'm stressed I like to forget about everything and do what I like to do, like playing games, sleep, watch TV, talk to my friend, go outside for a while, or even eat chocolate! I don't want to think that something bad will happen if I don't do what ever is giving be stress, I just set and relax, like if I had all the time in the world. Honestly I rather live a life were I don't do homework, getting bad grades but being relaxed, than living in a world where I get amazing grades but I can't do anything else, besides working because of all the work that is causing be stress.

  25. Of course I feel stressed about school. Some of it is because I don't study in my native language some because of test. School is hard but adult life I think is harder. School and college teach how to slow your own problems by your self and it will be really helpful in the future. It's like a life school but then you can be successful and reach all of your goals. Stress can really be a problem here because it is extra presher. Even though I'm stressed I try to keep calm and tell my self that I can do it and get through it. I think one of the most important is to always stay positive!

  26. In my opinion, stress is not that badly influential to my life at school. In many ways, stress can make me feel threatened so I can figure out a way to do something quickly. But stress can also be a problem while I'm doing a presentation or something like that, I may not be able to control myself if I'm stressed out. I think the way to avoid some of stress is just listening music and sleep, I don't need to elimanate all of my stress, having a little stress can help me study in school better.

  27. When I have hard time to study,I just tell me to stop study. You know what, if people want study good they have to enjoy it. So if you don't enjoy it, you just wasting time. One thing I want tell u, is listen music. Listen music for everyone is helpful.

  28. For my these things happen is comen, the knowledge is new for us some times we don't know is ok. My option is you can give yourself some times to listen some quite music or do some things you like to do. Like me when I feel bad with class I will cook some food or listen piano music.

  29. I think there are many ways to decompress, the first can find good friends talk, the second can listen to music and singing decompression, and finally I think you can do what you want to do, such as painting, playing piano, fishing, playing chess, etc.

  30. Feeling stress is a common thing, I feel stress about school grade and sat. What I do is play video game for forty minutes, at this time I think video are not bad thing or I will watch some TV show can make me laugh. I don't think students can be stress free, everyone will have some stress thing so the key is how to release the pressure.

  31. I think the pressure of learning is there, but we can use some way to extract, we can encounter difficulties, seek help, ask more to say. Can also be extracted by other means, we can learn after a period of time appropriate to relax, listen to music, play a game, to regulate the brain. I usually use the exercise to extract, when running, I will release the bored mood to extract, I think the pressure is ubiquitous, but we can find the right way to get rid of their own.

  33. I think it's not too hard to let me feel relaxed in my daily school life. It's good to listen music when you're working on some school work I think. Because I don't like those school works, so when I am listening music,it make me can keep doing my work and really make me feel better than don't listen anything. So, as I finish the works, I prefer to sing, it will help me to Release pressure and better to prepare for tomorrow. This is my way to make my life as stress-free, and I really think that music is really good thing to Release pressure, it's my good friend.

  34. Meditation for a few minutes per day, you just have to sit straight and relax. Breathe deeply for 5 minutes. Go out with friend on the weekends, do the homework ass soon as they tell you... But in my opinion you will always have some stress in your live, even in summer!!! So just relax, and do things one by one.

  35. I think I have never felt stressed about school. For me, except some test days, school is fun. I always feel bored or sleepy about something in class, but why feel stressed? If you prepared well before quiz and test, you will never feel stressed about this. Also, if you did homework , and you did it really well, you won't feel that.
    Stressed is the thing that everyone will feel in daily life. And it's also easy to get away from stress. Just listen to some interesting music. Music always make people happier, it's a enjoyable thing of humans' life. For me, now I can't live without music. It's a part of my life. Stress is also hurt your body. If you keep stress all the time, you body condition won't be as good as before.
    So just let some happy into your life, stress will go away.

  36. I am stressed at school. Grade at school does not give me stress. But many other things put stress on me. First, there is no communication between middle school and high school. When I go on a trip from middle school, I do not get high school classes. Sometimes I cannot give homework. When I went math class, I gave homework after trip. But teacher says late. Second, why middle students cannot use phone in high school? I understand why do not use phone in middle school. Because everyone did not use it. But in high school most people use their phone. Same class, same time difference is just middle school students or high school students. But teacher says do not use phone for just middle school students. These are shows how bad is TA. Except these episode, I have a lot of episode. Good way to stress free is only one. Leave TA to another school. TA doesn't have ability to teach international students. International students pay many money for school. Rich or not is not important. But if school receive many money, school must to do good to students. In korea, school is free. 100% free. Korea school is not very well, but I think Korea school is better than here. If I use many money to improve my english skills, I can pay to some US forces stationed in Korea and learn english from US forces. I will move school next year. I think that way is only way to stress-free. I’m very disappoint to TA.

  37. I do feel stresses by school. For example, the test, grades, the relationship with my friends, and my future. I always feel nervous and I am afraid to take it. It's also because of the parent's expectation for us. The grades are important to us because we have to apply to a collage that the GPA is the most important one. So this make the most pressure to us. Anyway, the social problem, which means the relationship between you and your friends is important too. If I fight with my friend today, I may be upset and unhappy. I may worried about her, and have a big pressure that to say sorry first or to wait the appreciation from her. This is really stressful for me. Besides, consider about your future is really getting a big stress. Because about our recent future is attending to collage. Attending to collage is one of the most essential thing for our life. But before we attend to a collage, we must to hard working. So, the biggest pressure during our school is coming! Although there are many pressures around us, but actually we are growing with our pressure, we learn a lot from them. So stress is not only the bad thing, it may be the good thing too.

For example, most of our stress comes from the school part of the pressure is that we want to maintain good results in learning and we also need to worry about the choice of university problems, everyone will have pressure, stress is normal, we should do it is to reduce the pressure, we can go with friends tell these pressures, maybe they will have a good solution, or we can go out with friends.

I do feel stress when I got an C in my PowerSchool, and this is the only reason that makes me feel stress, and the only thing I solve this is to study harder and make that C disappear, this is a affective way to make my stress disappear.

  42. Well, I have pretty easy way to solve the problem. First, if you feel tired when you do your homework; you just stop and listen to the music to relax your brain. Secondly, you can take some exercise. Suprisingly, you'll discover that you will pay attention more than before when you do your work. Besides, you can watch some movies you interested in. It can also relax your brain. I see that a lot of mans solving problems are eat delicious food. That's sort of way to solve the high pressure problem.

    I have feel stressed out by school now. Sometimes, I would get home very late and I don't have time to do homework, I'm tired as well. I have a good tip that make me feel stress-free, which is combining exertion and rest. Also, you can find your finds to do something that can make yourself not stressed about school.

  44. Sometimes we feel stress in the school. The reason might be lot work to do, or upcoming test. So how can we get through this? Here are some good ways. First, excrise. Right, excrise can help you to decrease your stress and give you a good emotion. Second, focus on the work, and finish them, so that you don't have something concerned about.
