On November 8th, Americans will decide who will be the next president after Barack Obama. It is therefore a good time to talk about leadership. What makes a good leader? What does the leader of a country tell the world about that country's values and goals? If you want, give an example of someone you consider to be a great leader; explain why you think he or she is (or was) an excellent leader and representative of his or her country.

In the Great Depression, the president Hoover was a optimistic, he thought everything would be better automatically, so he did nothing to solve this problem, and he failed the next election.

Then a good leader should put a person to a area that he did well. Also making good goal that isn't to hard and the can be reached. If the leader set a goal that is difficult for the group to reach will make the team failed and they will be disappointed with themselves. The leaders of the country should tell the world what the people of the country believe like honest, freedom, and so on. That will make others be respectful to your country. I like the leader from China who is called Xiaoping Deng. He was the leader 30years ago(Maybe). And he leaded China to face to the world. And the economy has increased because of him since he decide to let China face to the world.

Not only responsibilities but leaders need to have leadership skill in order to lead others. That is the two factors that every leader need. A leader will try his/her best to introduce their country to foreign countries with greatness and most proud about their country. A good leader of a country should do things from himself to show the world the reason why his country is strong or strengthening. I think the current chairman of China Jinping Xi is a good leader of China because compare him with former chairmen of China, I can see that Jinping Xi does a lot of practical things like arresting corrupt officials, developing economy and industry, progressing Chinese education... I think that's what a good leader should do for his country.

Your word should be convictively so that people can trust you and admire you. When you have some different opinions with your partner, you should listen to others, you can not be stubborn. You have to set yourself an example to others and also be friendly. For example, if you have a hard work to do with your group, when you think you can finish it, you can give up, you have to buck up and encourage your group members to work harder. As a country's president, he needs to know what does the country need and thinks about how to solve the problem. And he also have to be powerful. If he is a good president, he knows how to communicate very well with other countries so that help each other to be stronger.

A great leader for me was the catholic kings, they cared about their people, they re-conquered Spain (from the Muslim) and they allowed Cristobal Colón to explore the West Indies. Leader has to lead all other so he has to give good ideas and prove that it will work out right. Been a leader of the country is very hard. You have to make decisions that will affect it. And more stuff that should be important for the leader. He or she has to get peoples attention and that's not easy, it takes so much time to convince a country with different ideas and different opinions. He or she has to obtain what most people want and obviously doing it in a good way. I mean him or her goals must be the majority of what people want. One of the great leaders that I found a good leader of the country was Obama he was a man that had clear ideas and wanted to all of us be treated like the others, the same rights. A leader has to be someone with fixed ideas and a really strong mentality. It's so difficult to control everything around you, and to be responsible of important charges. I think the good leadership is to care about people, to make people have a better life, to make a good society, to make most people achieve their life goal, to protect their citizens secure. I think the good leader example is Hanwudi, he was the empire in Han dynasty, during his time, he made China rich and made a lot of people had a good life, he also listen to the people's opinions, did a lot of big structions for people. He also beat the Hiong for protect people's life and wealthy. When he was old, he did some mistakes, but he realized after a little while, so he wrote a letter to show all the people that he confirmed he was wrong.
A good leader should be able to make his people's lives happy. A good leader care about what people think about and think it's important. He or she will do his best to make people feel delighted and make their lives simple. And the good leader know how to use his or her power, especially about how to govern people, and make country better than past.

A good leader is that person who cares about the others and try to help them in their difficult times, a lot of people confuse leader as a boss and is not the same. For example a leader is the first person who will try his best to try to solve problems or whatever with the help of his followers instead a boss is a person who order the other to do the things and he just look how the orders do it. There is a huge difference between boss and leader. Another example, when we talk about the leader of any sports team the leader will be the first person on carry the team and put all the responsibility over his shoulders and also will try to get the best of this teammates this is a good leader.

This person will be one who rules our country and its important that they meet certain characteristics to be a good leader. In my opinion what makes a good leader is being trustworthy, respectful and loyal. A trustworthy leader is someone we should be able to look to in time of crisis or need. Also a leader who is trustworthy should be reliable. Someone who is respectful should respect privacy of the people, they should also be respectful to its citizens and colleagues. They should respect other countries and the people who dictate it. A leader who is loyal will make decisions based on the interest of the country/people other than their own personal interest in other words; they shouldn't put themselves first.
