Students tell me that they don't tell their parents everything - for instance, a student won't say he's sick to mom and dad because he doesn't want his parents to worry about him. In other words, students keep secrets from their parents. We all keep secrets, and not only from parents; we also keep secrets from roommates, friends, classmates, teachers, you name it. Do you keep secrets? From whom? Why? Also, can you keep a secret that someone tells you?

I think every secret is very important. I remember a friends in China he told me a girl he likes. I didn't keep it and than he not being my friends.

ReplyDeleteOf course I will not tell secrets to my parents, especially something they do not like me to do. I think about everyone keep some secrets from their parents, it is common among young people. Someone also keeps secrets from their friends, roommates or someone who close to them, I do this too, but I will them some things that really important to them.
ReplyDeleteSecrets should be kept, and do not tell anyone. I really do not understand why someone like to tell friends their secrets and let friends help them. I think it is a terrible idea. Maybe you think you can trust your friends, but I don't think so. People is enjoy to tell something to others, just like you tell your secrets to friends, your friends will tell them to others, too. Maybe they do not say, but they use another way to use the secrets to force you do something you do not need to do. It is really terrible, isn't it?
So I think the best way to keep your secrets is just tell yourself, and solve them on your own. After this, you also can learn a lesson: better ask yourself for help. Anyway, I do not keep secrets from my friends, too. Because I think I must be telling these things to others!
I've been keeping secrets for plenty of years from mine and others. There are two main reasons that why I want to cover it.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, since I was ten I considered that I have enough ability and skills to handle all these problem even some of them were really tough. Some of problems I used inappropriate method to resolve problem. For example, I lost passport and I20 in the airport when I arrived in NYC. I was afraid of the consequences after I told my parents. So I tried to cover it by not telling anyone about this thing. But when the day I came to my school, they needed my passport for registering. Finally, my parents knew that but they didn't blame me because my parents said that I should be responsible for what I had done.
Secondly, it's really embarrassing to tell others about something I don't want to express. Some of them are sweet experience that I am too shy to appeal to others. For instance, I got a kiss on by a girl who I have good feeling. I was really exciting but if I tell my parents, I might get a trouble by keeping answer their parents.

Every single person has their own secret. But not all of the people tell their secrets to others. I like to keep my secret from other people. Sometimes, secret could make some kind of situation better. For instance, you wouldn't tell anyone else if you copy your other people's answer without him knowing during the test because it break the school rule which is unacceptable. When you keep it as a secret, nobody is going be mad at you. Nobody is going to take your points off or make you retake the test. Nobody is going to tell your parents that you had really bad behavior at school. Secret makes people more happy compare to fact somehow. We tell our friend a secret because we trust that they are able to keep it. But I think it would be better if you just keep it to yourself. We can't guarantee that our friend wouldn't share our secret to their friend. I could keep a secret for other people, but just like what I metioned. You should always keep your own secret. I personally think that when you share a secret with someone, it's no longer a secret because secret actually means something that you know but you don't tell anyone else.
Everyone have secret. Especially the teenager have a lot of secret to their parents, classmates and friends. I also keep secret to others. It's doesn't matter of keeping secrets is a bad things or rule. Sometimes you need to keep secret to your parents just because you don't want them worry about you. And sometimes you need to keep secret to your friends is because it will makes your friends unhappy. I thought if it a secret you need to protect others is not a bad things.

I although keep some secret for my friends and parents.but another very important things are if you know some people's secret , you must keep it. If not you will lost your credit.

ReplyDeleteSecret is secret. It's not everyone can know. And we all have reasons to keep these secret. Maybe don't want someone to worry about, or you are so shy that don't want people to know. But secret is important. If you want share secret with someone, then he or she must be the person you believe. If you have a secret from someone, you have to keep this secret for this person. I also have secret. Most of the time I will share it with my friends. Because I think they can understand me,and I believe them. If my friends share their secret with me, I will keep it too.
ReplyDeleteI keep secrets, some of them I don't wants to tell friends some I don't wants to tell my parents. When I did something at school that my parents don't want me to do, I'll keep it from my parents, and also my friends sometimes, because some of my friends already have my parents wechat. I always tell my friend some secret awkward thing that I do, but I won't tell my parents, because there is no need to. When someone tell his secret only to me, I will keep it for sure, but if he already tell his secret to everyone, there will be no need to keep the secret. Sometime when I tell people secret, others may see it, they will feel bad if you tell others but not him, he also may feel I was no longer his friend, so if I was in this kind of situation, I will tell secret again to the other friend.
ReplyDeleteI keep secerts.And there are two kinds of secrets to me. The first kind of secrets are only my best friends know about it. Ana the second one is no one else know it, only me know it. The reason I make them into two categprys is because there are some secerts you can't tell other people. For example, the things that you did maybe heart somebody, or may heart 5yourself. And the secerts that your tell your best friends can makes you feel better. For instance, tell someone the person you love, or the solution to one question. Also keep secerts from other people is important too. Because if you tell other people some one's secert will make some one awkwwod and can't be friend anymore.
ReplyDeleteOf course, everyone has secrets. But the reasons that we keep secrets are different. Why I keep secrets? I think there are something that are just mine and nobody can share. Secrets make the world funny. I can't imagine that we live without secret. If I have ability of knowing everybody's thought and secret when I born, I won't be interested in this world. The funest things of a day is to know more people and to listen the secrets that my friends want to share. The another reason that I keep secret is that it's not so necessary to tell others. However, the person who told me secrets thought that's important, so that's the reason my friends don't tell me secrets any more. But I'm trying to change my thoughts of other's secrets and trying to keep them.
I think the secret is important, if there is no secret, we can not hide the tiny shortcomings, others will laugh at our shortcomings, and ignore our advantages. So, with a secret, we can live a normal life.

Some secret is about their safe, and some secret just a little thing. Some secret can't tell anther people because that secret isn't good for you. So everyone has secret, I have Secret too.

Every secret has its own reason for existence,so I think we should to be respect to every secret,whatever it's bed or good.I also have many secret that my parents don't know,my secrets they're almost make me happy.How about yours?
I think secret is such a thing people keep for something else. Secret is a kind of thing which is wrong sometimes, but not always. So I think:if secret can be bad, then it will show me people. Because what kind of people keep what kind of secret. I think I can be a keeper who keep not bad one, "keep" means loyal, and"loyal" make a person good.
ReplyDeleteEveryone has his or her own secrets, and everyone has the right to keep his or her own secrets from anyone other than himself or herself. I have a lot of secrets that no day knows because I'm so shy to speak out about these things. I don't say my secrets, so I either don't say other people's secrets, that's just what I think about because I don't know anyone's secrets instead of mine.

It maybe your girlfriend that you don't want your parents to know,or your thought to your friends. I also have my own secret. I actually have a religion. I'm a Christian and I believed in God last year in Canada. I go to church every Sunday morning. I read many bible stories and it gives the power to grow up. I makes me have positive attitude for my life. And then I got baptized on February.However,most of my friends still don't know I am a Christian. So it's my secret.

DeleteAnyone has secrets that they don't want anybody knows. There are various secrets that need to be revealed such as you a really bad mark in school and lied to your parent, you broke something and hid it... But other than that, secrets is a piece of memory which can make you better or maybe it will make you worse. I usually tell our friends secrets because they are the same age as me so that it is easier to talk with them and if you need any advise, they are the best choice ( except they will tell everyone about your secret ). If a person told me a secrets, I would keep it as my secret as well. If anybody told you a secrets, that's meant they trust you so we should appreciate that secret unless you want someone to be suffered.

ReplyDeleteSometimes when someone is talking you heard something that you have not pretended to listen. They would like that you keep it and don't tell anyone, so at this moment this thing became a secret. Then is your choice, is up to you if you want to keep it or not. I'm just trying to say that secrets can come unexpectedly. Suddenly you see something, you heard something, or you broke something and you don't want anyone to know about it. When you keep this things you are keeping secrets. So it's difficult to not have secrets.
I have secrets like all my friends do, and I like to keep them. I only share secrets with my friends, they are like my family for me. But I keep secrets from my parents, teachers, my coach, my cousin... Or people that I don't even know, as I told you before.
I feel cool when someone explains me a secret, because it is giving to you the full confidence. They choose you, so you should respect them and don't tell anybody. I hope people don't explain my secrets, and they expect the same of me. That's the reason of why I'm going to keep them.
Secret means something that should remain hidden from others and it also means the information known only a special group. Everyone has their secret. I have my own secret too. They keep their secret in their mind, and doesn't tell anyone. There are many kinds of secret. It can be a big secret and it also can be a tiny secret. For example, I am studying aboard, if I am sick, I don't want my parents know, because I don't want them worry about me; and if you best friend tell you that he has his favorite girl, and ask you do not tell anyone else, I think he doesn't want other people know his secret because he is so shy that he has a favorite girl and he doesn't want the girl know. Sometimes, when people tell their best friend their secret, their best friend will tell their friends, that they can show the people they know someone' secret but you don't know. They are very proud of it. But I don't know why. I think if you friends tell you their secret it means they trust you, so you must keep it in you mind. A best friend means you can keep the secret for him. A people without secret it just like the people without their clothes.
ReplyDeleteEveryone has a secret, I have a secret, I never told my parents that I secret. Because I think everyone has privacy, some things do not want others to know, this is a private space. I have never had a secret and my parents said. Junior high school when I like a girl, I did not mention to anyone, until one day I told her, the class of people all know, my parents sometimes asked me if I have no girlfriend, I will joke generally say No, the secret so far my parents do not know. I think everyone will keep some secrets, this is only the secret they know.

I do keep secrets and I keep it from my parents. The most important thing is that I don't want them worry about me, because they are too far away from me. Actually, I also keep secrets from hem when I'm around them. Sometimes, I'm just lazy to talk, so I don't tell secrets. Anyway, I would never tell secrets that someone tells me. When someone trusts me, I won't do something that is harmful to him. When I was 14 years old, my friends told a secret about me to my dad. So, I got punishment. That's why I hate people who tell the secret.
But so sad you got punishment.

I do keep secret, like everyone did. Some secrets was told by my friends. When they are upset or sad to some things, they might tell me, and I just be a listener. I know everyone will meet hard in their life and it is ashamed to tell others. So I don't tell the secret of my friends. Secret is a mistory thing. No one knows except us.Every one has secrets, it will keep in our heart.

Secrets are part of the human being. I don't think no one doesn't have secrets, after all, we all need our privacy. I have secrets, many of them I don't want to share it with no one, including the secrets that my friends told me. Maybe one day I will tell one secret to my friends or family, but right now I will keep them for my selve. Those secrets can change a lot of things around me, like the way that people see me. Nothing will be the same. That's something that I don't want to happen because I really worked hard to be what I'm now. Maybe in the future those secrets would not be important anymore, and I will tell it.
Everyone has secrets. We keep secrets from our parents, friends, classmates, roomates, family and we also keep secrets from others but not all the people can keep them. We have to trust them, we have to trust the person who can keep our secret. For me it's difficult to trust somebody who is going to know something about me that i don't want to the others know about it because if this person can't keep it would be to late to go back. I keep secrets from my parents and my friends because i don't want to worry them about something that it's not their fault. So I solve it by my own and I don't tell them for their good.
ReplyDeleteEveryone has some secrets. Who says I don't, so he is propably lier. It is natural if people have secrets. Because someone tells you something what is really important for him and you have to keep it in safe. I have some secrets which I tell to my friends but to my parents I don't, because sometimes they can't understand it. Definitely I keep secrets from my parents, friends and other people, because they trust me and I trust them.
ReplyDeleteSecret is a normal thing for people. Everyone has their own secret but not everyone would like to share their secrets to others. There are two situations that you'll tell your secret to other people. The person you talk to is your best friend and you trust him/her. Another one is somebody asking you to say that. Most of the students won't tell their parents secrets such as they have a girlfriend. Also my friends will tell me their secrets. To be honest I'm not a very good keeper. If the secret is funny I might tell other people. But if it's serious I will never tell others. All in all,every secret has their own meaning. It might not important for you but important for the person who told you. So keep every secret as you can!

ReplyDeleteWhen I was in adolescent, I kept a lot secrets from my parents. In my opinion, it is common for children to keep some secrets from their parents. Also, parents should be respectful for the privacies and personal belongings of their children . However, now, I do not keep my secrets from my parents any more, because I am too far away for my parents now. I except to share everything about me with my parents. When you talk with them about it, they will always be those people who are most close to your life that understand your ideals. Sometimes they can help solve many problems as well. If my friends tell me some secrets, I will absolutely keep them as my own secrets. When your friends, classmates or teachers tell you some secrets, that must mean they completely trust you. And your duty is to keep them，you should not let your friends down.
Of course, I have many secrets, mostly between my classmates but also a secret, and the parents also have some secrets, but the most important is the secret of my former girlfriend and I said, because I was a secreter, this is the only secret that share between she and i in this world, I'm sorry I couldn't be released to the public, so I am a secret, will not spread out.
ReplyDeleteI prefer to secret for my parents, because I always feel uncomfortable and feel like I have no privacy if I tell them my secrets. But now, I think it is better for me to shave some secrets with them or with friend, because having too much secrets inside our hearts is not good for us. Sometimes, we need to share them with others. That we trust. Also there are some people especially my friends who always tell me their secrets, I make promises to keep them and never share those again with others and they regard me as trusty people so I should let them keep trusting me and do not let them down.

Secret also means your private it means other people should respect that. I have my own reason to not telling you. And I keep secret from my parents because they always overacts and they solving problem in different way.

ReplyDeleteYes I do have secret. I think almost every body have secret, even 5 years old little kid won't tell their parents where is all of this candy come from. As a normal human me, I do have secret. I never tell my personal relationship to my parents, never ever and ever. People ask me why, I will say it is just wired to talk about it in a family meeting. Other's stuff that I won't tell my parents is thing's will make them worried, like I fall on text, I lost my jacket, go out take a walk during class and I lost my date. Something not a big case,but it will make them. I also keep secret from other people like friends,roommate and Homestay family. You name it i classified it. In my own book, I only tell things to my best friends or my brother, but I will wait until when he get a little bit older. People said secret all some thing you will never speak out, if you did secrets aren't secrets anymore.

I have many secrets and I think it is natural things for every people. I think that's because of everyone is not innocent. Every people do something that is not good and every people lie and that became secrets. I also have many secrets and I don't tell my parents or friends. My parents said the world is living alone so I don't trust anyone. Especially, many girls don't keep secrets so I never tell my secrets to my best friends. I think my secrets are really bad so I don't want people to know and I don't want to hurt people around me. However, I only tell some of my secrets to my brother because I only trust him and we promise to keep it. And if somebody tell me about their secrets, I'm sure I would keep it because we should respect one another and we need to keep promise.

I think teenagers hide secrets from their parents because they are afraid that their parents will get mad or disappointed. There are a lot of types of parents. Those who won't let you to go out, and who would let you to do whatever you want. For example, imagine that you have a party, and your parents don't allow you to go out, you probably would snick out in secret. Of corse, it depends on your parents where you hide it, or tell them the truth. In my case, I do keep secrets. I think that if someone trusts you and tells you secrets, you should be respectful and keep it to yourself. I feel
glad when someone tells me a secret because that means I'm important to them; I feel like I can help. Otherwise, I think that there are a few cases when you can break a promise. For example, if one of my guy friends likes my other friend and he wants to invite her to the homecoming and asks me to keep it as a secret, I would do so. To be honest, I once experienced it with my friend, when she was so sad because my friend wouldn't ask her to the homecoming for the whole week, so I decided to tell her a little truth, so she wouldn't worry.
Yes of course I have secrets, I think everybody have secrets and special when you are a teenager. When you are a teenager everything that happens to you is a secret and more if is something bad and who are you going to tell to help you? Not your parents because they cant help because they are not going to understand so you ask your friends for hel and you keep as a secret to your parents and a like this a lot of more. When you are an adult and you are more mature you start to stop to keep secrets to your parents and you start to ask them for help. At least this is my case but also depends of the character of each person.
ReplyDeleteI always keep secret. Some people don’t keep secret. I don’t like some people who don’t keep the secret. Many people have secret. Keep other people secret is basic polite. If don’t keep secret it is very rude. I almost never say my important secret. Many people don’t like say own secrets to other people.
ReplyDeleteIn the world society, everyone absolutely has their own secrets and everyone holds their secrets to stay in their mind, no matter what types of secrets, and whether what situation of secrets that we should hold. Also, secrets are very extraordinary things in our life, which also determind our emotions, our facial expressions, and our behaviors to face on a person who we should keep our secrets. Otherwise, I got a very impressive event that I lost my visa creadit card for few months, but I’m afraid to tell my mom. Because I know if I tell her, she will be angry on me, and maybe I will get punishment from her. So I keep the secret, but I have to facetime with my mom everyday, I tell her I don’t have enough cash, my mom will tell me I have credit card, and I can use that, but whenever she said that to me, my heart is shiriving, and my face is smilling very stiff, at that time, I really want to tell her, I LOST my creadit card! But I can’t, it’s really hard for me to tell her this secret, then I hold it for a long time, but one day, I really don’t have enough money to support my life, then, I tell her. Really, keep this secret is difficult, although I don’t have sufficient money, I still stick that secret. However, if someone tells me a secret, I won’t tell anyone excepet her. Only if she says first. This is absolutely a respect for people.
ReplyDeleteAs a teenager, I have a lot of secrets. For example, i never tell my parents about my grade or I never tell that I date with a girl. In China, my friends alway tell me his secret cause trust me, he find me to ask for help. I'm pleased that he thoroughly trust me and I undertake that protection his secret. On the contrary, I will tell him about my secret.
ReplyDeleteTeenagers need to learn to keep secrets to develop into grown. One way to do this is keeping secrets from their parents. Even very teenagers still need to learn to keep other peeople's secrets, or it will be hard to trust them. If students tell their secrets about their health, feelings and conditions, their family's will be sad and concerned. Namely, students who live in another country should think their family's feelings before their emotion. If you ask me, I surely keep my secrets from my unique family. For instance, last week my fingers were good to touch something but I have never said it to them ;because I care them so much. On the other hand, keeping a secret about myself is just about my family , not others. Finally, I never tell someone's secrets to another person. ReplyDeleteI don't tell much secret to my parent because I don't think they can understand me. Sometimes I get sick, i won't tell them about it, but when I was really sick or I got a serious problem I can't solve I will tell them. You can keep your secrets to protect yourself or you can choose to speak out to somebody so you don't have to be tired.

ReplyDeleteHuman should have secret because we are higher living organisms. We have wisdom and emotion. I think people have their own secret that they don't want to tell anyone even their best friend. I don't have much friends. I like to keep the secret because I don't show my weak side to anyone. I don't trust all friend. I only trust in kinsfolk. I think they won't hurt me because I believe in blood is thicker than water. But I still don't want to tell my parents. I won’t let them worry about me, so I like to keep secrets.

I keep secrets from my parents, my friends and a lot of people more, because if they are embassies to me I won't tell them or if the person will be sad or mad at me. Obviously I will keep a secret of a person because if a secret and it probably don't want any more people to know it so I won't tell anyone.

ReplyDeleteEveryone have secrets, but not everyone can keep a secret from a friend or something he knows, he tells other people. I keep secrets and have secrets also. But I never tell other people's secrets to other friends or my parents. Teenagers have secrets because we think that is not a good thing and we just want some people to know it, or just yourself no body else. Parents might have also secrets that they don't want their children know about it.
