ReplyDeleteWell in my case I don't really like this kind of art. Talking about drawing and paints, I don't care to going to art museums because actually I have been in a couple, and they are fun. If I would have a favorite artist it would be Picasso, probably because is one of the famous painters in the world, and I have been in one of his museums. I don't really like this kind of art because I'm more into other kind of arts, but I know that this industry is really big and important, so I kind of like it because of that.
well，actually I am not a big fan for act. I just visit some museums and broad my horizon. But I remember a movie called The Da Vinci Code, it's a fantastic movie. I love it so much! I watched the movie and read the book. Leonardo Da Vinci is one of the the most famous painter in Renaissance.Of course, he is still well-know now. He also is sculptor,architect,musician,mathematician, botanist, writer and so on. He is an amazing person. I think everyone knows Mona Lisa, which it is a famous painting by Da Vinci. Mona Lisa is collected in the Lourve Museum,France. A lot of visitor go to France for Mona Lisa. But, Mona Lisa is not my favorite painting even though it is so popular. My favorite painting is The Last Supper because the Last Supper is the one of clue in the Da Vinci Code. I learned a lot from the movie, and I am kind of like it.

ReplyDeletePicasso was a great painter of the history. He is born from 25 October 1881 to 8 April 1973. His unique style was called cubism which consists of shapes to create many scenes with squares and circles. His life in Spain was plain but yet fascinating. His paintings became really popular among people and it even gain noticed by the royalties at that time.He also likes drawing about wars and crimes so that people can see what is really happening in this world. For example, "Masscare in Korea" is one of his famous paintings that was painted about Korean War. We can never forget Picasso for his contribution for modern arts to grow.
His famous artwork - Three Musicians: It is a perfect example of Picasso's Cubist style. This artwork is in the New York Museum of Modern Art now. It is part of series painted while was with his young family in the Fontaineblueau in the summer of 1921. Three Musicians is a large painting measuring more than 2 meters wide and high.

ReplyDeleteI am not interested in art a lot. I used to jealous my friends and my mom because I never draw like them. For me, my mom is my favorite artist. I really like her paintings. Sometimes we are going to art galleries and it is very enjoyable with her. Two years ago I went to the Netherlands and I visited the Rijksmuseum. There were many good paintings there, but I liked Rembrandt's '' The Night Watch'' painting most. That painting also one of the popular painting in that museum.
ReplyDeleteActually, I am a person who not interested in art, I think the reason is I can't do well in art. I have visual art this year, I think this class is too boring. Teacher usually let us do many work, I never drawn good pieces. One of famous artists I heard is Rembrandt. He came from Netherland. He is the best Netherland artist. He is famous in portrait. Rembrandt's greatest creative triumphs are exemplified especially in his portraits of his contemporaries, self-portraits and illustrations of scenes from the Bible. His self-portraits form a unique and intimate biography, in which the artist surveyed himself without vanity and with the utmost sincerity.
ReplyDeleteMany people like arts and ate is very important in life. I took visual art when I was a sophomore. I'm not good at painting and I cannot draw very well. My dad likes artwork and he likes to collect paintings. I saw many paintings before I don't really like art. However, I remember a very famous painting. It is the Sunflower by Van Gogh. This is the only famous painting I know because I watched a movie.i like the picture but I don't understand the meanings. I don't really understand visual arts but they are beautiful. I think visual arts is very difficult. When I go to museum, I cannot understand many paintings. Art is difficult. I hope I can learn more about visual art.
ReplyDeleteI don't really like art. I mean, I don't like to go to museums and look at paintings, sculptures and other type of art representations. Instead, I love drawing; it is one of my favorite hobbies. I am taking Visual Arts I, and I really enjoy it. My teacher says that my drawings are very good, but I need to practice much more. If I had to choose one painter that I like, I would choose Diego Velazquez, one of the most important Spanish and international painters all over the world. One reason that I like him is because he is Spanish and well-known in almost every country of the world. He has influenced a lot of beginners in art. My favorite painting of his is "Las Meninas". This painting represents the royalty of Spain in 1650's.

ReplyDeleteI like all kinds of art. Art is a way to see things in another way to transmit feelings to other people. I enjoy painting, but I am not super good at it. I would love to learn to paint well, though. I admire Leonardo da Vinci. Most people only know Leonardo Da Vinci as a painter, but he was so much more. It's admirable how Leonardo studied fields beyond what humans imagined they could do. He was a writer, botanist, cartographer, geologist, anatomist, inventor, engineer, mathematician, scientist, musician, architect, sculptor, and a painter. Many people were amazed by the ability that he possessed but many didn't like his creations. I admire how he continued further, even if people discouraged him. Instead of thinking about what others think about him, he continued doing work that benefited humans during his time and even our time. My favorite painting of Leonardo da Vinci is the "Last Supper" which is the last meal Jesus ate with His disciples before His betrayal and arrest.

I'm not a big fan of Art, so I don't really know about art. But I know a very great artist, of course he already died. His full name is Michelangelo Di Lodovico Bruonarroti Simonoi. He was a Italian sculptor,painter,architect,poet,and engineer. He is one of the best artist in the human history. He made a lot of legend artist work, like "Sistine chapel ceiling" "David". I wrote about him, because I like his sculpture. It's cool and means a lot.
ReplyDeleteI don't interested in art. I don't know too much about art ,but I have my favorite artist who is Spanish. His name is Picasso. He is born in Malaga ,Spain. He is a originator of modern art. He is a abstract style painter, sculptor and poet. He has a lots beautiful drawing. There are 230 of painting of Picasso in the museum of modern art in New York. He draws some famous painting like" Guernica". " Avignon girl" and he also draws" peace dove" for the United Nations. I like " Guernica" most. It's a cubism style painting. The background of this painting is World War 2. At that time, German Nazi bombed Guernica in Spain and lots of people dead. Picasso wants to show Nazi's atrocity to people and the war brings disaster to people. There are horse, bull, soldier, and a woman holds her dead body of her child. The horse and bull yell, a woman holds the dead body of her son. A soldier's dead body with a broken sword on the ground. The colors of the painting are white and black. ReplyDeleteMy favorite artist is Vincent Willem Van Gogh who is one of the most famous artists in all over the world. He is an artist of post- impressionism style and he had a big influence in western culture. He has a lot of famous works, such as“ The Starry Night”, “Vase with Fifteen Sunflowers” and so on. In my opinion, “The Starry Night” gives me a big memory. I think that this painting is full of spirits of tragedy and distress. There are many blue colors in this painting. Blue color represents unhappy and dark feelings. This painting represents that Van Gogh had a restless emotion and imagined different the world. Van Gogh stayed in long time at the state of crazing, so he had very strong inspiration and expression ability to draw this painting. It is still in the Museum Of Modern Art, New York City.

Arts was my worst subject in Middle school and young school, because I don't have any arts talent, I don't even know how to draw anything, even though grass. But I have favorite style of painting, it's Chinese panting. I enjoy that style, because my dad collects lots of Chinese painting from ancient. They have views and people which are from ancient, and so beautiful. I couldn't find some painting here, but they're really beautiful. There was a painter who is called Li Zhen. I forget when did he draw, but when I saw his painting, I will feel so free, his drawing could make me feel freedom, that's also the reason that I like Chinese painting.
Actually, I’m not interesting in painting. I’m not really enjoy to go to the art museum. But I like to watch Korean traditional paint. But the problem is many paint are swept by some laws at that time, Japanese Occupation Period, Korean war. So I’m enjoy other type of art like a structure, design of car/airplane. Now I’m taking Visual art 1 class, so that I’m try to feel interest in drawing. I think sketch something by pencil is really fun, but I still can not feel interesting in painting. It is too hard to understand sometime that what artist want to talk about because it is too abstract. Now I’m taking graphic design and I am going to photography in Next semester. I think that is my favorite kind of art.

I have a lot of favorite art styles. Such as surrealism, conceptual art, pop art and so on. My favorite art style is surrealism.I love it because it always includes some special meanings. Surrealism is from the late 1910s and early ’20s. It as a literary movement that experimented with a new mode of expression called automatic writing, or automatism. It tries to release the unbridled imagination of the subconscious The artist uses realism for satirizing the real world.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Surrealism artist is André Breton. He was a French. He was the founder of Surrealism. He wrote the first Surrealist Manifesto in 1924. He defined surrealism as "pure psychic automatism".

DeleteActually I’m not interested in artist or any painting, I just know some famous artists like Vinci, Van Gogh, Picasso and all. Some famous painting like the Barge Haulers on the Volga, Mona Lisa. Especially the painting of Mona Lisa as same as a real people. I’m not interested it, so I don’t understand what is the painting mean. My art grade was very poor when I studied in my home country. I have always slept on the class and my teacher have scolded me all day.

ReplyDeleteI don't like museums, in my opinion museums are boring. But I like to draw so my favorite artist is Marcello Barenghi. He is a professional 3D painter. Marcello was born in Milan (Italy). In my opinion he is the best drawer in the world, because he is painting in oil. 3D painting is very hard. They look so real, sometimes you don't understand is that real or not. So my favorite artist Marcello Barenghi and my favorite style is 3D paintings. Museums is a good place to go but not my favorite. In my opinion it just wasting your time and money. You can do so much cool stuff like jumping out of an airplane (skydiving) or learn how to play drums. I think it's just matter of a time, probably when I will get older I will change my mind but not now. I'm young and I don't want to wast my time. I really like to do extreme stuff. So I think museums doesn't fit my lifestyle.
ReplyDeleteVisual art is a very important part of people's life. Visual art is around you, just you don't know that. I’m not good at drawing or painting, but I like to appreciate art works. My favorite artist is Andy Warhol. He drew some inbetweening for some poster. He was not very good drawer. I don't like his art works, I just like his thought. He think that art is money. He was trying to make art became to business. His creation characteristic is repetition. He also got some attainments on film industry. He made some terrible movies to express his thought on art.
ReplyDeleteI do not like arts either. Maybe because I can not draw well. Basically if you are not good at something, you do not like it. My opinion is like that. Museums are okey for me which is about history. I do not like art museums. And I think it is not that important. But if you are going to ask me which is your favourite artist, the answer is Pablo Picasso. I kinda like his masterpieces.

ReplyDeleteFor me, painting is hobbies, interests, and is used to regulate the life, but it’s not necessary. So, I don’t really understand that some people who are crazy about this. However, I do not paint really well. Most time, I just doodle whatever I think about that time. Anyway, I don't have any specific favorite artist or style of painting, all by mood. Sometimes, I like the landscape painting without people or anything else. Sometimes, I just like the portrait without any scenery. Sometimes, I prefer the plants’ painting to any other kind of paintings. Such as, there’s painting with only a building or a tree. In a word, I like something simple without any decoration. I would rather the painting with only the subject itself than the painting which contains a wide variety of styles and many elements. That is what I am thinking.
ReplyDeleteIf you ask who is my favorite painter five years ago, my answer would be Vincent Willem van Gogh or Pablo Picasso. However, if you ask me the same question now, I will say Марк шагал without thinking twice. Марк шагал is a painter who is born in in a poor jewish family Russia. Марк шагал was Jew and that’s why jewish thought was the origin of his imagination. Because of his growing background, Марк шагал’s paintings are mainly about jewish life. His color composition included both reality and imagination. His life was not easy that he was forced to leave his home country because his country is looking a specific style of art. The spirit that looking for what he wants deeply moved me. What his personal experience taught me is that we should always adhere to a belief no matter what challenges we are going to face. Not only that, he used to say that “ My mother’s love to me made me have to prove this love is worth by working hard”. According to his personal background I can learn that his family is not rich, instead, he couldn’t even eat full. Although he expedient such hard times, he didn’t complain his family, instead, he felt grateful to his mother and tried his best to achieve his dream. Of course, there are no famous people without controversy. Every artist has to work under pressure especially the artists who are well-known. Same as Picasso，Марк шагал’s paintings were not approved at first. Some of people said that his works are all ideal and wrong. However, he relied these people that he said his works are all real that show what the real world is like and he proved himself.

My favourite artist is Claude Monet. He was born on November 14, 1840 and he died on December 26, 1996. During his life, he drew 500 sketches, more than 2000 canvases and 2700 letters. He had left his footprints all over the land. He had lot of famous pictures include Impression, soleil levant, Cathédrale de Rouen, Nymphéas and Champ de coquelicot près de Vétheuil.
ReplyDeleteI first saw the Claude Monet’s art work in the fine arts book for the first time when I was in grade 3, I was joking around about all those famous artists with my friends. It is a completely shocking for me that the first sight of the work “Les Nympheas” which means the “sleeping lily” brought me into a new world. Every time I saw this painting, I become calm down with no reasons.

If some one ask me which artists I would like to talk about DaVinci. DaVinci born 1452-1519 was a Italian who is a most famous artist in the world. His favorite masterpieces such as Mona Lisa, The last supper have lots of mysterious even people can;t figure out now. People discover that DaVinci’s name appears in eyes of Mona Lisa by using microscope. Davinci studied sculpture when he was 14 in the small town in Italy. He is o only person who can draw a portrait that looks a photographs. Davinci is a symbol of Italy culture and every Italian respect and admire him, There is a book named Davinci code that describe the story about Davinci’s masterpieces. I don’t have profound interest in art, but I know Davinci by reading that book.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I do not have some favorite artist right now. I have never been too much interested in painting or art. I love many pictures which I saw in galleries in Czech, but I think I would like to choose style of painting in past. Like Davinci. His masterpieces are amazing. I adore and for me it's unbelievable to draw or paint like that. Sometimes back home I had mood to go to art gallery and watch creation from famous artists. It inspired me so much for another things. For some people it's relax. Sitting in gallery and drink coffee. ReplyDeleteI am a sporty guy. I do kinds of athletic exercise and I have wide interests. I like sports, musics, arts, and so on. But the weird thing is I don't have a favorite artist. It is probably because of I don't know much of them. I know there are lots of arts which would make me flash my mind and let me go wow! But normally arts does not make me feel anything inside. 3D arts is one of the coolest art in my mind. It looks realistic to me. I always wanted to touch it but does not exist.

ReplyDeleteFor me, I don’t really interested in visual art or any kind of art. I think the reason why is I don’t like spend so much time to look at one single painting and to draw a paint. I am active so I’d like to be outside and playing with friends. When I was a child, my parents ask me to take a painting lesson and I spend almost half day to stay in a room and paint. This make me feel sick so I use all my pigment to draw nothing on the wall. My teacher was very angry at me so that he kicked me out of the class. This is the first time that teacher kicked my out of class during my life. That was what I expected. So, I cannot say I hate art, but i have no feeling to art. So,I don’t have any artists that I like and I don’t even know any of them.
I'm not really interested in arts. Art is not something that I really like to do, maybe because I'm not good at it. I think that all the artist have a really good value and what they do is very challenging. I don't really like to go to museums I feel that is kind of boring, but in another hand is an interesting part of history. ReplyDeleteI like go to museums and look at famous enough paintings and see some beautiful sculptures. Also I like to travel to see famous buildings. I'm not really fan af art. I like to do art by my self. I love to draw some weird drawings. It's so relaxing for me. When I'm sad drawing helps me a lot. I'm just putting my thoughts on a paper. ReplyDeleteI'm not too interested in classic art because I think It's not funny and interesting.But I do like the another kind of art such as anime. My favorite artist is Miyazaki Hayao. I have watched many cartoons since I was 1 year old. These cartoons made by Miyazaki Hayao are very interesting and amazing so I love these cartoons very much. For example,Spirited Away is my favorite cartoon movie since I watched Miyazaki Hayao's cartoons.

The Starry Night is my favorite painting by him. It looks amazing, he uses different colors, the sky just looks like really. He has a crazy spirit for art, but people ignoring his talent at that time. People think he is not a normal people, and they put him into the hospital. Actually I am really angry about that, and I cannot believe people can do it. Even that, he still fall in love with art, he make many good paintings during his whole life. Whatever, he still my favorite artist in the world.

My favourite kind of art doesn’t belong to museum. They’re the monuments. Monuments were built to memorize great people or important events. For that，we mostly use the matchless craftsmanship to build them. They usually stand for the top architectural skill，sculptural skill even literatural skill of that age，that country and that culture. The greatest historical monuments like the great wall，pyramids and gothic churchs，even prove the strength of their creater.
My favorite artist is IM Pei. He totally changed our view about buildings. The museum of Suzhou City is my favorite one. Pei mixed Chinese traditional architectural format and modern idea of Functions and Structures.
I have no interest in visual art and painting stuff. My mom was a professional painter. She is a talented person in visual arts. I don't really get that talent from my mom, but I really like photography and I think I'm doing well at it. I take pictures all the time and I know how to take dapper pictures of boys very well. Photography and visual arts are both type of arts, but I'd like to use the camera to memorize this amazing world and amazing people not painting.
