- I have been a language teacher (ESL/ELL, French) for 30 years. I have taught in public and private schools, immersion programs, refugee programs, adult/continuing education, elementary, middle, and high school as well as university. Currently I teach ELL at a high school somewhere in New England.
If I can travel through time,I will come back to see some issues happened in person.For example,I will come back the time I was born because I want to see how amazing my parents faces are when I was born and I want to see myself.Maybe I will go to the future for seeing some things amazing and fantastic.I hope no war will happen in the future because in the past,I afraid of the ISIS very much.I hope my travel places in the future are very beautiful and nice in the peace world instead of war or scared organization.I hope I will have this chance for traveling to future before I leave this world.Finally,I want to see my mom and father when they were fell in love.I think that must be very interesting and nice.Of course become their friends is best choice in my mind.I wish that day is coming soon.
ReplyDeleteI will probably choose to go back to the time when my parents were exactly same age as me. I want to know how did they grow up and what they had to face to or they chose to experience. I also expected to learn how my dad and my mom fell in love with each other. The important thing I know is they became friends when they were around 16, the same age with me. I want to discover what are the differences between now and before. For example, in 20years ago, people didn't use to drive cars, but the most people drive cars nowadays. There was a huge difference between my dad and my mom. My mom's dad was a president of a valley, so they used to be rich. However, my dad was born in a poor family. The is interesting to find out how they met each other and how did they start to date.
ReplyDeleteI would like to go back in 1939. I want to see how the world war 2 was. How people lived in war. It's very interesting to me. I have my grandparents, they were in the war. There were fighting for the peace in our world. So I really want to go back in 1939-1945.
ReplyDeleteAlbert Einstein said in The Theory of relativity that people can only travel to the future under some specific speed and gravity. People can never travel back. Think about if people can time travel backwards. We would know some people from future, but in fact we do not.
ReplyDeleteI love my life and it gives me full of mysterious. It makes me want to explore the future on my own. However time travel to the future would ruin my life. I will never want to live on earth if I know what I will be. It will not be better than living in a life that parents made up already. I believe the future changes every single point when people do something. I want to make myself a man's life. I know people think time travel is future knowledge. However they ignored what will cost them after doing time travel. People can never became the same as them before.
I choose not to time travel because I want to live my own life. Explore the mysterious future and have fun.
If I could travel in time I would like to go to the past an also to the future. I would like to go to the past and try to solve my issues and correct all the things that I did wrong. Also I would like to go the future but not to far just 4 years more to see how I'm gonna look but I don't want to know what is going to happen. I think that is better to have surprises in our life's even if they are not so good because if you know everything of your future you are not going to be excited for anything because you already know all. I know that is good to know if we are gonna have a good or bad future but just that not to know every single step that we are going to make. Is better to live the present and enjoy what we are doing.
ReplyDeleteTime traveling is an old and popular topic in science fiction stories. Last year I read the book "Time Machine ". It is one of the most famous and oldest time traveling novel. This story is talking about traveling to the future. That makes me interest in future travel.
ReplyDeleteThe inventor of “Ancient Beasts” in my view is not a time traveler from history. He comes from future! He created the next generation public transportation! Let's imagine ten, hundreds even thousands of “Ancient Beasts” link together. What's that? It's a walking trolley！Can you imagine a city filled with that kind of trolley? It will be so convenient, maverick and absolutely environmental friendly!

ReplyDeleteIf I have the chance to travel time, I will go to 1990 years, I want to see what the world looks like in that time, I want to see how my family looks like in that time. I want to know what happened between my parents, I also want to go to 1960s, to see what happened in China, to see the people in that time. I really want to see what my future looks like, but I won't travel to the future, because that will make me know what happened in my life, it might let me have a better life, but I like to make the life more challenge, I don't want to know what happened, it will be boring if I know what happened.

ReplyDeleteIf I could travel through time, I would go back 30 years. I want to really get to know my grandmother. My grandmother is always the one I adore the most. I want to know how can she became such a strong person. My grandfather passed away early. Leave my mother and my aunt to her. For a living, she had two jobs. One is during daytime. The other one is making some boxes by hands. She always does it in the night when she got back from the first job. She had a big pressure of living. But she is strong inside. Finally, she raised two kids on her own. I adore her.

ReplyDeleteIf I can travel through time, I want to go to the future. I want to see that what our lives will be like in 2040. Is the earth still the only place for humans to live? Or we will have found another planet to live. How is the transportation? Maybe we don't have to use roads and planes anymore. All the cars can fly and have their own airlines. The most important thing is that you don't have to drive. These cars are pilotless automobiles. You can use this air trip to enjoy the pretty scenery outside the window or relax yourself such as reading the news and sleeping. The medical level will be very high. People don't have to worry about the cancers. All of them can be cured very easily and quickly without pain. The robots will be used in every family. They are as clever as people. They can cook the food for you, do the homework for you and clean the house. I would like to see myself too. Am I a great man and making a lot of money at that time? What's my job? Who gets marry with me? Is she beautiful and kind? Do I have a big family? How many kids are there in my family? I can't wait to have this skill and find out these things.
if I could travel through time, I would go back the Spring and Autumn; Warring State Period(BC770-BC221). I know the war was dangerous, but I thing Chinese’s culture is derived by that period. Confucius was born in BC551, and he created Confucianism. He leaves a deep impression on Chinese. I want to go back and see how was the war going. Also, I am full of curiosity how did they live.They don’t have car,train,airplane, but they have carriage. How did they measure? I hear that every single country has their own measuring tool. The writing and language are different as well. I can not imagine, and I think it was so cool. How did they communicate with the other countries. I am learning more about the Spring and Autumn;Warring State Period, I am interesting in that. If I could travel back, would I change history?
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion travel through time is a fantasy ,but some scientists think it could become a reality. And I think If I could travel through the time I travel both past and future. I like history, especially about my own country's history that's why I would like to travel past and see how was life in 18's or 19's. Also travelling future is a good thing , because we can see our future lives and if there's something bad about in our lives we can come back the past and make it good.

ReplyDeleteIf I can go back through the time. I want to go back to 1770. It is the time of Qing dynasty in China. At that time China is become strong to weak. QianLong is the emperor of China. He is a arrogant person. Some European countries like France and Britain want to have diplomacy with China. QianLong doesn't allow that. He think China has everything, he doesn't need to have diplomacy. After that. China becomes weaker and weaker. After, there are lots of wars in China and also during the World War2 Japan invade China. I want to go back and tell The emperor what happened after he dead. I want to make him develops country like European countries and have diplomacy with other countries. So China can't become so weak after he dead. I also want to go to the future. I want to see who is my wife.I want to see my cute children. What job that I have? My life will be so happy and happiness. My parents and grandparents are healthy. I may be a famous person. I am helpful for my country and the world. China will be develop stronger and stronger. I hope the future of the world is a peaceful world.
ReplyDeleteIf I could travel the time, I’d like to travel to the ancient Korea which is called Chosun to now. It’s because I really want to know the true history of the Korea. In now days Korea, many history books and our own cultures are erased or removed by Japan in 1910 to 1945. If I could travel to past, I would tring to make the history book that made by true history.
ReplyDeleteIf i have the power to time travel. I will chose to go to feature. I want go see what is my feature wife looks like. I want kong how successful I can be. I want know when the earth gonna die. There are a lot of thing I want to know from future. When I come back from future, I want test is fate real? Am I still gonna merry the girl who I already see she will be my wife in the future? Am I still gonna have the same life I saw from the future? Can I stop the end of of the world? Or my life is gonna be the same I saw from the future. There are so many thing I want find out if I have the power. But thank god I don't have this kind of power.
ReplyDeleteI think if I can through the time, I will go to the future. There are lots of robot and the car can fly the sky, even the thing is I have never seen. I can go to market and there are many robots, you can pick one and click robot what you want to buy or stores, the robot will take you to go there. They are smart, they even can introduce every stores. I will pick a robot and I can buy what I want, I also can talk with robot as same as a people. After that I can go to different restaurant that eat lots of delicious food. I want to buy a machine, it can fly the sky, and you can control it easily, you just need move your body.
ReplyDeleteIf I could travel through the time at will, I world like to go back to the past. I want to go to every part of history. I will see what is the real history and I will have some experience in the old society. When I finish my first dream, I will go to part of time from my life. I will meet a person really important in my life and treasure every minutes with he. After I did what I want to do, I have a little curiosity to see the future. I want to see myself in the future. I hope our future is peaceful, and I hope everyone are not have gap of the wealth. Time machine is really impossibility. If one day time travel is a easy thing to do, maybe it's not good thing to celebrate.

ReplyDeleteOne of the reasons I would like to go to the past it is because I really like old music like The Eagles, Aerosmith, ... I also pretty curious about the fashion. Fashion and trends change some much even now so I am curious about the fashion of the 80s and I would ask them what they think about our fashion and how they think future look like.
I also would like to go to meet my family. I love my family and I am really connect with my family so I would really like to go and meet the great-grandmother of my grandmother. Besides the cases I mentioned before, I would like to go to see how technology how influenced and changed our lives during the sat years.

ReplyDeleteIf I can travel through time, I will go to the future. I think that there are many big differences in the future such as technology, education, transportation, health and so on. I believe that scientists also will explore and solve some mysteries. In the future, it is very important for people to have a good environment. I think that car won’t need oil. Scientists find out new fuel which don’t pollute our environment. Maybe it is very convenient for people to use robots to help us to do the housework, cook and go shopping that make our life easier. I know that it is very hard to solve some serious diseases. However, in 20 years, scientists can research new ways to get rid of these diseases to help people to have very healthy and safe life. In the future, perhaps, the scientists also find other new creatures to come to Earth and they can communicate with human. It is very fun and I can understand many miraculous things.
I think I will go to past. I want to correct my mistakes in the past. Going to future is such a bad thing for me. Because if you go future you are going to know everything. So i think living your life without knowing your future is so excited.
ReplyDeleteIf I can , I would like to go to my past and future. I want to correct some my mistakes which I did. On the other hand everything what happened it was for some reason and it makes me more stronger and clever. I believe that everything is happening for some reason. And why future? Future is really big deal for me sometimes. I am not too much curious for far future but for example what is going to be after 3 or 4 months. I'm really excited for it. But the thing that it can't work now it has some reason too. We create our present and future, so if we really want something we can have it. It just depends on us. It could be pretty cool if somebody will invite machine for traveling in time.
ReplyDeleteIf I have an opportunity to travel through the time I will choose to travel to my past,because I did many mistakes a many bad decisions and I want to correct them.Even though some of them happened for some reason I can say almost all of them but still I want to see how my life can look like without them.But it is not possible not now.I am satisfied like that I am just curious that is all.I never want to see my future it scares me a lot I dont know why.I will rather live my every single second instead of looking at my future.Be happy with things you have and dont try to change them.
ReplyDeleteTime travel is a very magical thing. If it become true one day, I think it will be very popular. People always feel regret about things they did before. Also, some people want to know the future. Time travel is a very huge idea. If I can time travel, I will travel back to middle school and study hard. With my knowledges in high school, I will be a very good student in middle school and I will do very well on tests. When I was in middle school, I didn't try very hard to study. I spend a lot of time hang tot with my friends and play video games. My parents were sad with my grades. If I can go back to that time, I will become a smart kid. I will know much more than other students. Maybe people will think that I am a genius. It will be very funny to go back and enjoy my middle school time.

I checked the definition of time travel, and I learn that, “ Time travel is a recognized concept in philosophy and fiction, but travel to an arbitrary point in time has a very limited support in theoretical physics, usually only in conjunction with quantum mechanics or Einstein–Rosen bridges” (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_travel).
I want to travel to the future and see how would I be in the future. If I have any serious drawback I want to change the timeline and be a better person. I would like to collect all the newspaper for decades. I can predict important events and save millions people. But I don’t want to change some important events which have to happen.
After I research time travel, I cherish every moment sincerely in my life. I can’t avoid mistake in my life , but I can do my best to check every steps I made.
If I can travel through time I what to see how all starts in the world. Who was the first human on the earth and what happens next. It's very interesting to see from what humanity start and what we do now. Also I want to travel to time with kings. See their huge castles and discover what they do in their day routine. If it would be possible I defenetly will travel.

If I have a chance to time travel, I'd like to go back to The Age of Dinosaurs. I watched a lot of movies about dinosaurs when I was a kid. I'm so confused that how did dinosaurs disappear from the earth. They're a heap of statements now, like asteroids hit the earth, aliens caught them all or they're still living in the underground and so on. I'm so interested in dinosaurs, nobody knows what do they look like. Sciences machine just recovery them from the fossil. Through fossil, I know the most of original animals are so much more bigger than human at that period. For example, mosquitoes are basically same size with human before. It is conceivable that how big other animals are. I'm so curies about is there any interesting animal in the Age of Dinosaurs, and how big are they.
If I want to travel some day, I will travel to the furture, no matter when. Cause I want to see what the future like. And I like high technology. Maybe there will be some robots and Maybe the robots will instead of teacher. And the teacher will just stay at home and receive the money that robots earn. Maybe the doctor will use robots to help pantient. Every one can travel all around the world just in one second. I will hope I can live in this world.

ReplyDeleteUnder normal circumstances, time is irreversible which means if the time passed, it’s in the past, you can not change what happened before. But, there are still some people trying to travel through the time. In my opinion, time is non-renewable. Normally, I don't think about how to change something already happened although it can not be any worse because it will not change anything at all. I just think about how can I improve it or just do it well in the future at most in the real life. Another thing is about the future. I think one of the most attractive thing of the life is you never know what will happen next second. You work hard this moment for the better life in the future. But if you know what will happen after you do something, you might lose the passion to do it hard. Even the result is bad, you might give up doing that. However, I don't think travel through the time is a good thing for people’s lives. Someone wants to go back to the past because of regret like they didn't stay with their family until they die. Maybe he or she can eliminate his or her regret, but there is still nothing being changed. Someone wants to go back or go to the future just because of greed. If they do it, I am not sure if it’s a bad thing, but I’m pretty sure it must be not anything good. Anyway, it’s just my view. So, I never think about travel through the time, and i will not think it either.
ReplyDeleteAs the technology develops, time travel has been a hot topic that people usually talk about and there are more and more people looking forward to doing a time travel. However, I will never do it because I know it will bring a big destruction to the whole world if we change the history. To be honest, I used to be a big fan of time travel because I think it is a cool thing todo and we can learn a lot about the past and the future. However, an article changed my mind. One year ago, I read an article that talks about some explorers go back to the Jurassic Period and one of them goes off the path and steps on a small butterfly. They don't think it is a big deal until they go back to the time they belong to. When they arrive the modern time, they find that everything has changed including the species, language, climate and vegetation. In this book, the path is the the limit that we can do and if we do the thing that is out of the limit, the whole world will be in a big mass. Anyway, although the by doing time travel we can learn a lot from past, it is also a very dangerous thing to do because we will not know what will happen if we change anything in the past until we see the consequence and I do not think any countries can afford it.
ReplyDeleteNowadays, technology is developing at a high speed, humans are trying to learn more things about the environment we live in. People today don’t satisfy at the exploration on the earth, so scientists started the exploration in the university even some of them is working on time travel. However, we also need to think about if the well-developed technology will be the weapon that we use to destroy ourselves.
If I could travel through time I would do a lot of things. In the past, I really like the idea to go back in time and maybe change a lot of mistakes that I had done because everybody is regret of something including me. If I must say, I think that we couldn't possibly go into the past. I mean, if you traveled into the past before the time machine was invented, wouldn't the the time cease to exist? Going into the past would also be horrible! If somehow you accidentally killed someone famous or important in the history, the future and our present wouldn't be the same. I would also travel to the future where I would buy some blueprints and some cool futuristic high-tech tools to make the famous item on the instructions. I would then make the item in my time and get a lot of money from them. That money would be for the people that need it and also my family and friends. The futuristic item would be made 2,000 years earlier that it would have been made. That's what I would do if I could go though time.
ReplyDeleteI am a curious people, so if i can travel through time, I want to go to the future. Firstly, I want to see what is the city looks like after thirty years. I think there must have a lot of new technology. For example, like many robots in the street, people wear a kind of future style's clothes, and cars can fly in the sky. I think if I see those things happen, it must be so surprised for me. Also, I want to see the future about me. I want to what kind of job I have. It is good job or bad job. And I want to see my family, will I marry a beautiful woman? And my kid is boy or girl, how many kids will I have? But I think it must be a balance between now and future. If people through time to the future or past, it can broke the balance, and things might change because time travel. I think even if people can travel through time, they still can not do that, it is really dangers.

ReplyDeleteActually for me, if I have a chance to through the time, I will go back. The first reason is, I don't want to know how my future look like, and I think now my life is wonderful. Second, through back, I can do many things. In our life, I think everyone miss many chances or opportunity to get something. And maybe you forgot some memories in your life, you can through back and see what happen. We don't have to change the thing already happened in our life. Through back and see again is also a good choose.
ReplyDeleteIf I can travel through time. I would travel to 1980. This is the time my parents lived. I want to know how were their lifes like. When I was young I always argued with them. I want to make up but I cannot find out the way. So I can travel through the past and know more about them. I also want to travel through the future. I'm interested in the world in the future. How does the world like. Is America still the strongest country? I want to see the animals that I can not see in the real time. Probably I can bring one back.
