Today is Mother's Day (May 11). Also, we have been reading stories about family relationships in ELL III. So, think about families. First, what is a family? Must it have two parents? Children? A mother? Next, why are families important, both to individuals and to society? How do they stay the same over time and how do they change? Can you imagine life without your family? You can write about your own family, if you wish, or families in general.
a family is a group of persons that love each other and fight to be together and get ahead the problems, it does not have to have two parents but for a kid have a paternal and a maternal figure is better , he or she can learn from both,also a family doesn't mean children it can be only two persons that love each other.

In common, family is the only one you will give your all without any receive. Because of this, most of people trust each other in families or they work hard in society to try to make the family get a better life. As I said, family is a special thing in everyone's view. So I don't think a family has to contain two parents and few(one) children. But it is a basic idea for family, to make people get their children, to complete the most important mission for every human.

But we will have new family members, they are our babies, like we came to this world from our parents, and we will have the same, heavy responsibility for us.
I really want to leave my family, I prefer live alone, nobody annoy me and nobody I annoy too. And I don't want any person live beside me, even my children, even my family loves me so much, even I'm Cancer. I still don't like crowded groups or activities.

ReplyDeleteBut that’s not my view. In my opinion, a home is nothing more than a feeling. When you are poor, home is a place, where can provide a shelter for you and offer you a trace of warmth. Even you can just earn money by begging, by feeling the worried by your family, you will have an idea of going home.
Home is important, no matter for a person or a group. A home is an atmosphere. It’s a place where you can share your sadness and happiness. A home is an eternal existence. It won’t be forgotten or erased by the time passed.
A home is a place that can always give you warmth and makes you happy. Whether what kind of person you will be. It can be just a small place where can endure your willfulness and accommodate your fault.
I’ve imaged my life without a home. It ‘s the worst situation for me in the world. My life will become a big mess. We can’t live without a home just like a home cannot be built by itself.
When I stay at home, I never realize my families are very important. I always think naturally my family is ok. My dad, my mum and I are normal to live together. After I come to America, I look forward to go home everyday. I understand that family is which people think so terrific. So no matter where I go or live, my own home is always the warmest to me.

ReplyDeleteThe family is not only significant to us, which can breed us and offers us a shelter when we are crestfallen, but also indispensable to the society, which can build a harmonious community rather than an aloof one which is formed by many homeless orphans. Before I totally step into the society and find a job, family always support me on study. It’s hard to imagine how my life would be without family. Some people don't have family because they don't feel love. Some people don't have family because they don't have parents. I do have a family which sometimes can make me feel warm. ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, family is composed of love and responsible. It doesn't matter how many people in the family. Even if one person and one dog have love between each other, they are also family. Everybody has their own life style, so some people doesn't want child because they want to totally enjoy their life or they don't think they have the ability to look after a child. These people doesn't do wrong. If you think you can not stand the responsible, just don't let the child come to world because he will have a hard life without your responsible and attention. In China, most people choose to have children. There are two reasons. First, they really want to have a little angle. Second, when they are old, their children can look after them, so they can be safe in the rest of life. It doesn't mean they don't love the child. It just because they have the deal and plan to love. Imagine if there has no family, and everyone just think about themselves, what kind of terrible world will come. Everyone needs to love and receive love. Now I leave my family, and come to USA. I miss my family very much, but I am not sad because in there, my friends,my dorm parents and my teachers already make me feel love. ReplyDeleteI love my family. i dont know what i would do without them. I normally spend time with them on sunday because it is almost the only day we can see each other. We go to church in the morning and hang out in the afternoon. My family is something big for me. I play with my small sister when i have time, talk or make fun of each other with my old sister or talk with my parents at night. When you feel annoying, you can get happiness there. It becomes an important part in our life. From my perspective, the family should compose by a mother, a father and at least one child. They are not only love each other, but also take care of each other. The family is extremely important for us. First of all, parents are our first teacher. I think a normal family need a child, a father and a mother, but there are some special cases in this world, like my family, my grandparents live with us, and they raised me when I was a little boy because my parents paid attention on their jobs and my future at that time. I think, how many members in one family are not as important as the love they give to each other. With everyone, family is really important because there is the place they were born and grew up in the love and protection of their parent. And with me, family is really important too. Sometime, I fell really uncomfortable when I have some problems with my parent. They usually complain about my study and my life. At first, I thought them just made it more seriously, but after a while, I knew I was wrong. I felt really lucky when I knew that I still have them beside me to give a good advice about everything. Live and study in TA, during this time, my family is not round me anymore, but still cares about me. i still remember that when I turned round at the gate of Beijing airport, at that moment, everything is behind me, i will on my own in the future. Family is where almost every kid grows up. I think a complete family should include at least a father, a mother and their child. But i believe family don't have to be same as the common standard. As long as the family can let you have a feeling of warmth and shelter, it should be a good family.

In my mind. I think the family like a box. When you feel not good, you can back to family and feel warm. I don't think a family must have two parents, but It's perfect family to have two parents. ReplyDeleteThere are many definitions of family. When I was 6 year old, my teacher told me that family means FAther, Mother I Love You. However, people said that things change when you grow up. How true of them. Even a definition can change when you get older. To me family is where you are able to love and be loved, where nobody gets left behind or forgotten.
ReplyDeleteFamily members such as your sisters, brothers are those who stick with you forever. Even though conflicts can easily occur between family members, in the end they always find the peaceful resolution to fix it. I once swore to myself never talk to my brother again after we had a serious fight. On the first and second day, everything was doing so well and I was glad that I came up with that decision. On the fourth day I started getting bored staying in my room to avoid my brother. Then a week later although no apology was spoken, we started chatting about everything and hanging out together like we certainly did without recalling the conflict that had happened a week before . The oddest thing was that I didn’t keep my word and completely forgot that I was mad at him.
All in all, no matter how bad things get, no matter how wrong things go, family will always be there. It’s may not be paradise but it is home.
In my opinion a family should have one or two parents (for example in some families there is no fatherr for any reason, and the mother and her children are still a family), one or more children( if the couple don't have children that is a marriage not a family), and in some cases the pets are a family member, also for me, my uncles and my cousins are my family too.
ReplyDeleteI don't think is better or worse to have a family, that depends on the person, for me is important to have a family,share my life with the people that I love, the people the help me out when I need it, and being there in the good moments,but for other person maybe is not important or they just don't want a family.

in my opinion, the definition of family is a group which everybody is this group love each other, they can do everything of the members is this group, and it is family. When you are young, your family form by you parents and your brother or sister, when you get older, there will be more members such as you wife and even your child, when you get older enough, you will have your grandson, family's member always keep changing, the only thing never change is our love.
ReplyDeleteAbout family, I think it’s important part in our life. It’s the strongest support behind us. When we feel down, the parents can give me a warm hug to make us better. When we fail, they always encourage us instead of blaming us. And family let us feel full of love and safety. I think the family needs to compose by mother, father and children. In my opinion, father and mother can help us from different ways. Mother is more careful than father. She can take care of us as careful as possible to avoid unnecessary harm. On the other hand, father tells us some principles when we do the wrong things. I can’t imagine life without family. Nowadays, I’ am far from home, but I never forget keeping in touch with my family. TA is my second family. In TA, I also can feel warm, full of love and warm, because of my friends and teachers.
ReplyDeleteFamily is a part of your life that you share everything with them. For me family includes all of the relatives. We all have part of a same blood. Of course without father or mother family does not mean anything but also father and mother are not enough for a family for me. I have one brother and i have a cousins who are like my brother. So for me all part of the family is family.
ReplyDeleteIn my mind, family is a place where you feel comfortable, security and other people live here can support u. I don't think the family must need two parent. the family is important because family is first place people come to this mad world and where are they study. They first teacher is they parent. Family is always change, like everything is change every time. I can imagine my life without my family, I did, I know that feeling, sadness, oppressive. But this is life.
ReplyDeleteI can not imagine life without family day. For each child for this kind of thing happen to them, that was the biggest disaster. A child's life without love shading. For me, the most fortunate thing is that I have a complete family. My parents love me very much, so I was a lucky boy.

a lot when I stay here. Everyday I will recall my childhood with my parents. I don’t
even believe I am 20 and they are getting older and older. In my family, my father
teaches how to communicate with people and my mother teaches me be polite.

I think everyone has a family and it’s very important for everybody, too. Some family is simple and lovely; some of them are very complexity and mess. But in my mind a family is very simple and lovely. A family shouldn’t have a standard. I think a family is just like a home for hearts. It’s doesn’t have to have two parents or children. I think one day in the future if I have a family maybe there are only my lover and I. But I think a family is very important for everyone. That is the place for our hearts to cure the wound, to talk a rest, and to get love. I think in a family the members of a family will be more like each other over the time. The do same thing everyday, they eat same thing everyday, and they share the interesting things everyday. So the ideas and habits they have will be same over the time. I think a family is both to individuals and to society. It’s individuals because family is a place only for the member of it. Other people can’t know all the good sides of it. It’s society because families bullied a country, a world. They contact to each other. The relationship makes a big net. So it is society. Family is very important for everybody. I think I can’t live without my family. Maybe I will build my own family. But I will never forget my old one.
