- I have been a language teacher (ESL/ELL, French) for 30 years. I have taught in public and private schools, immersion programs, refugee programs, adult/continuing education, elementary, middle, and high school as well as university. Currently I teach ELL at a high school somewhere in New England.
I don't believe all conflicts can be solved peacefully. I think some national problem will exist all the time. I am not interested in news about countries, so I don't know what situations we are in. I only know some big events. Now I am unable to make any contributions for my country. Wars are not possible to be avoided, because every country have different culture, different thoughts but have the same aim is benefit. So it's very normal to quarrel even fight. In our heart, there's one area is light and another is dark. Sometimes, people have evil minds. This is a part of human nature. If a person is full of kindness in the heart, that's not true. It's sham. We just need to control that evil part well. At last, I hope the world can be peaceful.
ReplyDeleteThe conflict can’t be solved peacefully in all situations. Every one was born with various characteristics. Some are inherently affable and cordial, but others are born in bad temper. Most of us expect that the conflict can be solved with words only. But the violence is inevitable in a way.
ReplyDeleteA man who has very passive attitude meets something really inconsolable, he will make himself into drunk. Then he will see a lot of things as annoyance. Since his best friend proposed him to get better or think everything will go right. Sometimes he not only omits what his friend’s words, but also even judge on him, bandy with him probably. A lot of violent conflicts are occurred to the man like this. So we don’t need to oblige everyone to be in peace.
Violence is one part of a human’s nature. There is a cliché in China, sadness, happiness, anger or whatever emotion it is, this is one part of our life, our world. However, I think war is unavoidable too. I believe weapons are made for war, and it is the best way to reveal the power of a nation, and how progressive the science is in the world now.
Nevertheless, there are always some autocrats who are aspirant to conquer the world. Thus war is inevitable to burst for the nominal peace.
I don’t believe violence and war can be dissipated from our world. But there is one faith always in my heart, as long as we cannot change the world, at least we can refrain ourselves.
I’m sorry that I don’t know much about the great person, Dr. Martin Luther King.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in a middle school, I read an article about him. It says that he has been a great civil rights leader and nonviolent activist. A lot of people think that he is not only a good leader, but also he is a good speaker. I know that “I Have a Dream” is his most famous speech. Dr. Martin Luther King advocates the society should render equal rights to Blanks. I agree with him. I think to render equal rights to everyone is perfect!
“Violence”, the word always makes people feel feared and people associate violence with wars. Then, “Peace”, the word always makes people feel safe. I think each person likes pace. But the two words are all in existence and influence each other.
I think no violence is impossible, because in the world, many matters need to innovate and change. When you are difficult to change or somebody stops you, maybe, you will choose violent methods to realize your goals. From positive viewpoint, after American Civil War, the slavery was overthrown, and some people get a peaceful life. On the other way, if don’t use war, how will the slavery going? But the war leads lots of people to death and ruin the environment. So violence has two sides, positive and negative.
But in general, I hope the world can be peaceful. No exposure, no killing, no discriminating…but I know that quite life is a kind of luxury. I feel lucky that I have a good living environment.
Things will develop in the opposite direction when they become extreme. Sometimes people want to try to keep the things to be good, but not everything is good. We have crimes, we have bloody things in this world. It is impossible which we don't have crimes, no victims in this world. If here is no more killer, people will define a new definition for killer. People are greedy, everyone has negative things in their life. Even wars, massacres. They just the bad side reflect in this world. We always promote peace. But we never has a true peace until now even a month. Peace is upon conflicts. Why we define peace, because we have wars. The cost we pay for the world is no war, no peace.
ReplyDeleteI always believe people are not fear to everyone, if everyone is fear, nobody will work hard to success, because they don't need to pay anything and they can still live, too. Also, if we want to keep peace, we must have the highest power in this world, because when you do that, everyone has to follow to you. When I am in middle school in China. I learned a writing in classical Chinese. It taught a famous sentence is:"Hardships, died comfortably as the guiding ideology of entrepreneurship and Shouyeh." People wants to keep a good life for their families. So they have to keep work, or they will be fired then no more good life. If bad life will smash some people, I believe we will have more talents after that.
In my opinion, war is a good thing. Because wars can make people pain, to let them know they have to work hard to change them. Wars will cost so much money in many countries, too. Countries will develop higher technology to invent weapons. It will the most fast way to make people grow. Happy wars.
Of course conflict can be solved peacefully. Human race can converse. They can solve their conflict through conversation. But some of conflicts cannot be solved with the war, because people have different ideas. If more than two of groups that have too different ideas mat and have a conversation, they won't find the point of compromise. Then they will try to change other's ideas with their power. I hate the war and I curse it, but each people have different characters and ideas. Some people think the war is the only way to solve conflicts and some people love the war. People are going to try to stop the war but it will be arisen continuously
ReplyDeleteConflict can be solves by nonviolence. There are a lot of examples. Such as Dr. King changed America by his eloquent words and peaceful demonstrations. No one born in violence or for violence is my opinion. Stay in peace is the best way to protect the civic, the culture, and humanity. I usually don’t read the political news. But I know it is impossible to restore the damage of a war between countries as soon. None of human want to see their home has ruined, their child has been stay in hunger, etc. Even war is the fast way to solve the problem. The result is not merely about the matter.
ReplyDeleteI think conflict can be solved peacefully. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. showed that conflict can be solved peacefully over a time period. Martin Luther King helped blacks achieve equal rights with whites. Most people did not think it could be done but after years of nonviolent fight he reached equal rights for blacks peacefully.
ReplyDeleteI think some conflicts can't be solved peacefully because some problems are too complex to be solved. For example, the problems of African Americans still remain in the America. The white people don't like them because of the history of slavery and the status of African Americans.
ReplyDeleteI also think that war and violence are unavoidable because the problems happen all the time, and we can't prevent some of these problems. However, we can make these bad situations better without violence. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. helped African Americans to make their situations better peacefully. He gave a lot of famous speeches for the real equality between white people and African Americans. Although some problems of African Americans still remain in the America, the situations of African Americans are much better than in the twentieth century. We can't reach nonviolence perfectly, but we can solve some problems and make the bad situations better peacefully. Violence can't solve any problems, it will hurt both sides and make problems worse.

longs for. When we are reading a novel describing the war, no matter it is the First
or the Second World War. We can imagine the bitterness, sadness and hopelessness
that the war brought us. Nobody would like to forget it. That is why most people are
striving for a much more beautiful and peaceful world, although they are not famous
ones. There are still hurt, tears and deaths in the same earth with us. Let’s work
harder to get rid of any kind of fights and conflicts.
i don't believe that all of the conflict can solve the peacefully. but some of peacefully can be solved by conflict, because if conflict can't solve all of the problem, why we need police to help us keeping peace. so i think sometimes, people may need to solve the problem by violence, because some people won't listen if you doing kindly. but i don't like war also, the war makes too many people dead and too many economic losses. and after the war, there are people always become homeless or they lose their family just because they are innocent. anyway, its bad for let a war happened.

ReplyDeleteI think war and violence cannot be avoided. Human like money very much. Sometimes people will do some bad things to each other because of money. That's why war and violence cannot be avoided. It is true sometimes conflict can be solved but not all the time. People are different from each other, we have different ideas. We cannot let people change their mind. When people have different ideas, conflict will come. Maybe we can solve conflict peacefully. However, I don't think it works usually. War and violence are parts of human nature. If it can be solved, why there are still so many wars and violence. Some wars are not necessary but also some wars are unavoidable.
ReplyDeleteHuman is the most complicated animal in the world. Sometimes solving problems peacefully is worked pretty well, but some problems are not easy to solve. When country and country have problems, at first they will solve peacefully like making a meeting, then creating a agreement. However, most of time one of the country just want to get rights or lands, even control. When that happen, fighting is the easiest way to solve. Problem happen with reasons and people, if you have problem with a nice person, I don't think there will be fighting. On the other hand, if you have problem with a guy who directly want to fight, just being agree with him, and using your fist to solve.
ReplyDeleteMartin Luther King was a really great and smart hero. He didn't use his fist, but he use his thought and mouth to fight with those unfair laws and events. Although, he was killed, he was still alive in many people's heart. Everyone has two faces. One is good ,kind, charming, but the other is dark, evil, dirty. Most of time, we can control the dark one, so we stay in peace. Also the laws help us to control the dark sides, it tell us, we can't do that, but some people because of their desires, they can not control the dark side. Then wars happen, the murders happen. People sometimes can help these persons find the good side, but usually it is not just about one people. Fighting is the way that sometimes we have to use, but it doesn't mean people was born in violent way. Fighting is use for control the dark sides. If it is possible, control yourself is the best way to solve problems.
War and violence a part of human nature and thus unavoidable, no one can stop the war, just like “The world is not permanent friends, only permanent interests” you must have something that is your friends need or want, those things can be a object or a kind of feeling, may be you will say “I can do everything to my friend, even to die. So we are the real friends” but this sentence already wrong, this sentence shows an idea you want to get the recognition from your friends or other people. All of those just an example, it tell us human have idea, everyone will have an aim during they grow up, when human want something they will find a way to get them, country to country have the same mode like human to human (country still controlled by human) For example，in the World War II Japan attack China ,Did they like War? Did they like to kill people? All wrong, they just need more land and a war can give them more land (if they can win)(War also is the fastest way to get more land), So Japan decide to attack China because at that time China is weaker than Russia. Also in World War II after American throw the bomb (to Hiroshima and Nagasaki) Japan know if they fight with American they can’t win to be safe they surrender, “you can bully the people who is weaker than you, you can be friend with the people who have the same ability to you, you will be bullied to the people who stronger than you” this is the rule to this world, if you see a thing that you want and it’s belong to a people who weaker than you, you can just ask he give you, or have a fight, if it’s belong to a people that have the same ability to you, you can be his friend and try to get it, if it’s belong to a people that stronger than you just can Plea him.

Of course the peaceful way is the best way. Nobody gets heart, but if one of the sides doesn't want to do easy way then other side have to be ready to do it hard way. When hard way of situation happens a lot of people get heart.

ReplyDeleteI think the war and peace are things so hard to have controlled.It's not easy to have a perfect world.In some parts the people's life can't get any better, and in other parts they have a bad life.So I mean that the world can't be good for everyone at the same time with the politics ideas,etc...
ReplyDeleteI think that the peace is the best way for everyone,and King was one of the most important people for the world peace.The change that Martin Luther King did is based on effort,persisance,and believe in the justice.
I believe that violence and hatred were unnecessary and counterproductive elements in the struggle for a better world. Look, there are lots of problem between every countries. If every countries decide to fight to solve the problem. That’s will be end doomsday. Martin Luther King is a symbol of the peace. I think the war is avoidable, because we can solve the problem on the another way without war. And I also believe solved peacefully is on the most of the time.
ReplyDeleteI agree that all conflict can be solved peacefully. There are always ways to work things out as long as we want to. Humans love to compete against each other but we also love to make friends. We prefer friends rather than enemy, that is our nature. War is just one thing people created when they are not willing to sacrifice their own benefits for peace. I do not think there is any soldier who loves to leave their family and risks his life in a foreign country. Those who invented war are selfish. If they were the soldiers that actually fight in the war, they'd regret that they created war.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, the conflict can’t be solved peacefully in all situations. Now the world is peaceful, But every country is still building their weapons, training their soldiers. South Korea and Taiwan require that every male citizen should enter the army.
ReplyDeleteeveryone has more or less violence in his heart. In former times, people used the wars to get the areas and other things. In this world: a peaceful world, war seems more and more distant from us, so the country use the armed strength to proved his position. We will still use the wars to get the success in the further because our conflict from our ancestors.

I do believe some conflict can be solved peacefully, but not everything, for example, America independent after the War of independence,They get freedom by their own hands. If they do some peaceful things instead of fight with English, i don't think America will be born,because we can use a peaceful way to solve problem with a polite person, but if we use a peaceful way to solve problem with a brutal guy, that would not work. So, i think we should trying to use a peaceful way to solve problem at first,but if it doesn't work, we should use a tough way, and i will never afraid to fight for myself.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that I live in such a peaceful world. Our ancestor made a lot for us, then we could enjoy the peace and unity of the world. There are many great people, like Dr.Martin Luther King. He used his speech not a weapon to protect people's benefits. He used his life to avoid conflict and discrimination. He did a undeniable feat. Now the world is more peaceful than before, and people pay more attention to human rights that every individual is equal. So I believe conflict can be solved in most situation, and humans are not inherently violent. The world needs more people to appeal for peace. Dr.Martin Luther King is a good precedent. As the people we should learn to help and care others. Then there are more and more people can feel the interest of the lives, and less and less conflicts in our world.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, although to solve a problem peacefully is the best way, not all of the conflict can be solved peacefully. Violent is not a good way to solve a problem, but sometimes it’s necessary. If people always use violent to solve the problems, that may cause grudges, a gang war, or worse, a real war. If the world is always peace, it will finally break out an extremely heartless and bloody war.
ReplyDeletePeople are not natural violent, but almost violent cases start from a very small event. For example, when people are walking in the crowded street, it is very easy for people to step on each other. When a person careless and step on another person, all he needs to do is to say sorry to the person he stepped on by mistake, but if he doesn’t do that and feels he’s right, that is easy to cause an argument between their two. If no one wants to stop argue and solve this problem peacefully, that may cause a violent event. Although peace is the best, the world won’t be always peace. Just like the modern world, children play many bloody and violent video games. This is because children are not allow to use violent in the life, so they just can play violent video games to meet their appetence. When children lost self-control, they may bring all the violent into the real world. The world has love and hate, friend and enemy, war and peace. Therefore, I cannot say which is the best way to solve a problem, because in the world, everything has two sides.
In my opinion, most of conflict can be solved peacefully. I know in some situation, people can’t control their angry and they start to fight. For example, at the end of a World War, everything turns worse like a lot of people were killed, lost their house and died because of hungry. Specially, many children can’t go to school and lost their family. It’s too bad. I think it will be better if they know how to control their themselves and try to solve their conflict peacefully.

ReplyDeleteFirstly, in nowadays, every countries or region have their own desire or targets. If they can not fulfill something they need, then will launch the regional conflicts or war. Hitler is a notable example.
Secondly, human's natural has the fight behavior since human showed up in this world. For instance thousands years ago, our ancestors were all barbarians, they hunted the food and fight with animals for keep them safety.
At last, My point is that human's violence natural will not be avoid, as soon as you get violent, your mind will not to be control, your brain will control by your human natural, that behavior likes addiction, because your natural like this behavior, it will not to be stop.
These are the reasons to explain my idea that why this world will not be totally peaceful.

human society, everything is like a game. Everyone desires to win the game, but there
must be at least one person loses at last. Nobody wants to lose, but there must be a
reason why someone loses. I don’t believe destiny at all. Nobody is born to be a hapless
person. Luck always goes to the one who works hard. If you lose the game, please don’t
murmur at anyone or anything, it is just because you are not good enough. I believe there
is no longer a right or wrong side of an issue, just winning or losing. I am always telling
myself winning is always right and losing is always wrong, no matter what I do. I
believe war and violence is a part of human nature that we cannot avoid it. The war
brings us poor, disease and death. But in the other hand, it also brings us a lot of good
stuffs. For example, when the European immigrants settled in North America, they
actually killed almost all the Native Americans, and then they built the United States of
America. If not because of the war or violence, we won’t have such a developed country
in the world now. This event tells us that we cannot stay in the pass. We need to always
look forward but not back, cause we are not going to that way. If you cannot protect
yourself, then you will be no longer alive in this world.
we are animals with awareness that means we know what is right or not we decide if we want do the right thing or go into the wrong way its true that because we are animals we have that instinct when something goes bad we just want to fight its true but because we are more than animals we can control ourselves , we can see thought the history how the people acts in different situations, some of us choose the easiest way: fight and some of us choose the hard but good way: fight for our right but with peaceful that is possible too we have examples in our world :Ghandi,Mandela and more famous people believed the human nature is nonviolent and i believe that too. We definitively learn how to be violent we see violence in the tv, at school ,on the streets ,everywhere cause the society is violent in general but you can be the change , not following them.

is kind of horrible and boring cause is always the same story read how the humans kill each other only for have different opinion,religion or point view , everything cab be resolve by talking .
i dont think we going to have a future without wars i think thats impossible but im pretty sure we can try to be good persons be the change that the society needs.
the persons just need someone a leader who says its enough like the peaceful mans did before (matin luther king) we going to fight always we just have to find the good way to fight and protect ourselves without hurt anyone

Conflict can’t solve by peacefully in most or all even all situation. Everyone has different thinking and personality. Some people like solve problem peacefully, but some people don't like this way. There are many differences between people. So violence and war is a part of human nature and thus unavoidable. As we know, nowadays there still hasn't been peacefully, there are problem, wars, and cold wars in world. Like the North Korea and South Korea, they looks peacefully but there still has problem between two country, so I think solve problem we can’t always do peacefully, also need violence.
ReplyDeleteI do not believe that conflict can be solved peacefully in most situations. In my country violence has happened as a result of people being unhappy with the government. This has happened in many other countries also. When the people are unhappy they become violent and want change. Violence becomes unavoidable when people are desperate. This is a natural reaction to oppression.
ReplyDeleteI had never considered this before. But now I have same views with Dr. Martin Luther King, I think the most of conflict can be solved peacefully. Violence is a part of a person, but we still need to be rational. The war will bring death and suffering. People should avoid conflicts. But not all of them can be solve peacefully. We love peace but peace cannot be got by begging, we have to fight for it.
ReplyDeleteI think all the conflict really can be solved peacefully in all situation, because everything is our own choose, it does not make sense to say a person have to do a thing he don't want to do, everyone has chooses, fight or not fight, have a altercation or not is our own decision. I do agree that all conflict can be solved peacefully, but I do not think we need to solve all of the conflict, I think people totally can be nonviolent, but I really don't think we need to be like that, we have a conflict is because we choose to do it,also, we fight with other is because our own choose. I do not think all of the conflict is bad for us, we can find out truth or something we never found out before by conflict, it is a way to help humans improve in some situation. There is a old saying: only in the state does man have a rational existence.What is rational is actual and what is actual is rational. All of these sentences told us we do not need to solve conflict, because sometime, the men who improve us is exactly our enemy.
ReplyDeleteI believe that conflict can be solved peacefully in most or even all situations. Although different countries have different cultures, they can solve problems by communicating. They ought to negotiate to let them agree with each other. Maybe they can sign some contracts. Addition to that, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr gave a exciting speech called I have a dream, this speech promoted the equality of black people . We can see, Martin Luther King , Jr is the representative for the peaceful.
ReplyDeleteI do not believe the peace can be a long time, peace just intermission of the war. The war is the ladder of human progress, it promote the exchange of human civilization and progress the technological. I know the peace and kind can solve some question, but the real event can't use the peace to solve. War will never stop, but the peace will appear with it when the war are evenly matched.
ReplyDeleteI'm a pacifist. I don't like war, I don't like to see people crying, I don't want to see a child without parents, I don't want to see the blue sky is grey because of the war.
ReplyDeleteDespite this there is the existence of the war, but now the most of the people will choose to solve the problem on the table, rather than with a brutal war. This is also a kind of progress of humanity it makes people think more rational. I don’t believe at one day people will stop fighting forever, but I hope that day will be coming.
I don't think take a war is part of human nature and people’s heart born is good. There is war there are opposed to war, the people who take part in the war doesn’t necessarily is voluntary. The bad rulers is the source of war.
I don’t believe most conflict can be solved peacefully since I think violence and being angry is really a part of human’s nature, the only biological difference between our brain and animals’ is we have the cortex. We were even originally evolved from apes who wouldn’t stay living in the tree, which means those apes were not lazy but aggressive. How can we get rid of those factors of aggression in our gene. Think about that. Most conflict occurs because two sides don’t get along well, it might cause by their different personalities or beliefs, so how can people listen to another side’s opinion if they don’t like each other. I’m not saying that conflict cannot be solved peacefully at all, we have lots of famous events about solve problems peacefully, but why are they famous? Because they are not usual, so we make them news to make people remember them. That’s why I believe in the most situations conflict cannot be solved peacefully.
ReplyDeleteI think the most of people don’t like wars and conflict, maybe some people say they like the war and conflict, because they like violence or can get profit from the wars, but they don’t know wars and conflict sometimes make people hate each other, maybe somebody you love will leave you. I don’t like wars and conflict because I don’t want to try the feeling of somebody who I love leave me.
ReplyDeleteSometimes, the wars and conflict can’t be solved peacefully, we sometimes want to get profit by direct and easy way. Powerful country want to use this way to plunder treasure from puny country because it is the easiest and the fastest way to get profit, so if the world real want to solve questions peacefully, the have to be maintained the balance, and I think this balance is meaning the balance between country and country and the balance between race and race.
Strength will choose the method how to solve the conflict. Only when the strength counterpoise, they will have to choose the peace method to solve method.
I believe that conflict can be solved peacefully in most situations. I don’t like war, because I saw too many wars in history book. And I thing the war always bad, whatever win or lost, because most of the war had many people to die. A person death will change the whole family. His family will be very sad. A war will break many families. I’d like to solve conflict more peacefully. Maybe solve conflict peacefully can’t have the best result, but I think is batter than a war. I don’t want to see anyone sad even can’t have best result. I hope every conflict can solve by more peacefully. I don’t want to see any war until I die.
ReplyDeleteI don’t believe most conflict can be solved peacefully in most or even all situations. I don't like war because there will be a lot of people will dead in the war. In the history, whatever you are win or lose, you must have some loss. People or countries with national problem does not necessary need to conflict, may only need to communicate. Maybe it can solve a lot of problems. I think Dr. Martin Luther King is amazing person. He advocated peace, also he has a speech call " I have a dream". I hope each problem that can solve by peaceful way. So the world it will be better.
ReplyDeleteAt the present, we can't deny that conflicts can be solved peacefully in all situations. Changes need the time. Ideally, people can solve their problems peacefully, however, sometimes it may take far more time to solve problems peacefully because people cannot accept the others' viewpoints. Thus, they choose the violent way to resolve conflicts because they think it's an easier and faster way.
ReplyDeleteFrom where I stand, I am definitely opposed to the violence. In many situation, conflicts can be easily solved in peace, so why some people need to use the unnecessary violence to hurt people so that they solve problems in their own conceit?
I believe war and violence are indeed a part of human, just less and more. However, People can control their actions and choose the proper way to resolve problems by intellect but not selfish or emotion.
We can't eliminate this social phenomenon. But we can try our best to help people get rid of violent actions and thought.
Wars violence will just put people in danger. To have a better world, we should be peaceful.
The war is unavoidable,most conflict can not be solved peacefully.It'll usually solved by violence.Everyone hope the world will be peace and happy forever,but we still have some situation that can't be solved by a peacefully way.We still have war.Everyone wants to retrain the war by the words,so do I.I don't want to see the war.but I am just a student in the high school,I don't have the ability to prevent,the only thing I can do is wait till the end of the war.So I think war and violence is a part of human nature,we can't stop or retrain.
ReplyDeleteall problems can be solved peacefully. if we get time to talk and look for an answer, then we can find it. people like martin l. king fought for the rights of the others without even fighting and they won when no one could have expected them to win the battle. Now people remember them as hero while some of those who fought and killed people are not given that much interest. Some problems look really hard to solve by just talking but always know that even if they look impossible to solve just do it with all your heart and hard working and it will work without having to loose people s lives for that. for some wars, i can admit . Its really difficult to solve it with words. Especially when the enemy has already started killing people and he shows no intentions to stop the killings and negotiate. So thats when you fight to stop them. Fight, love , solve are words that we always use in this world. There still might be some wars in the world but at least they are few and not millions of people are killed. So lets continue like this hoping for a better world and peaceful one.
ReplyDeleteWhen baby born to the world, I think they are kind-hearted. The baby grow up, and with baby grow up together is selfishness. Some parents don't have enough time with them children. They don't care them children's feel. Maybe some people have propensity for violence, but almost can amicable settlement.

ReplyDeleteAnd I don't think war can make countries be good be happy. War mean died. Why? I think in the War must have few people can be died. If few people died mean sad because every one have family. for example If your family died in the war! How's your feel? Of course sad! so everybody like peace. peace mean safe mean happy. So if one day have a War in the country I think President should think of people. make people be happy be safe!
In my opinion people could solve everything with talking. But it is not possible unless we do not listen and talk with each other. We should understand that every person is different, so everyone has a different problems or situations. That is why we should listen each other. Of course war is a bad thing. Who wants it? People die because of someones ideologies. Why do we choose this way or why do we have to fight with each other? I think we will understand after there is nothing left to fight.

ReplyDeletei think peace can't solve all problem, it's no use to somebody to use peaceful ways to solve it, they don't want peaceful, they want just to be violent. most of people don't like to be violent, they prefer the peaceful life, we can solve the problems by discuss or ask help from others. but for the people who want violence, we can try to talk with them first, try our best to solve the problems without violent, if it's no use, don't pay attention to them, but if they use violence to you, just use violence back to them.

Thanks, everyone, for your comments. Many of you feel that humans are inherently violent and that wars are inevitable. Others point to nonviolent leaders in history and our human capacity to reason and restrain ourselves. Everyone hates war, yet wars continue to be fought. Are we less violent than we used to be? If so, perhaps we are slowly evolving toward a more peaceful future. Let's hope so.
ReplyDeleteI think that conflict cab be sovled peacefully in most and even all situations. everything develop so fast, like technology and science, the countries are getting more powerful, people in the world are more independent. And, people have a lot of different great ways to solve problems. The world are getting more peaceful, in the past, people have to fight fot their life, it was a different situation from now. Nowadays, l lot of people'd like to have a peaceful life. So, the peaceful life is what they want, in other ward, i think conflict can be sovled peaceful.

But is it fare to the person who has the burger, it is not. The most time is not like peace solved something, it is more like we buy peace; we spend a lot for the peace. Dr. Martin Luther King is a very great man. He gets the rights for black people and he got peace. But he used his life to pay for it at the end. The World war two is a really big war. People get peace at the end but the cost is so much people’s life. Anyway my idea is peace is the outside of the world the violence is the inside.

ReplyDeleteI always believe that conflict can be solved peacefully in all situations. I don't think anyone wants to see the war and harm. We all have families, friends, and someone important for us. So we want to protect them and stay with them forever! I'm Chinese, so I know the history between China and Japan. That was very terrible and it was nightmare of every Chinese, also made lots of Chinese hate Japanese!
I hate war, and I think everyone will agree with me! I don't think we can't solve the war, because we can talk to each other, we can help people to solve the difficult problem, we can also know others very well and understand the real mind in their heart. Peaceful is necessary! I hope one day the war will disappear. Everyone will be happy and smile all the time!
