ReplyDeleteI never watch The Winter Olympics before. But between The Summer Olympics and The Winter Olympics, I prefer The Winter Olympics, the most important reason is my favorite season is winter. And I love ski, too. But I don't think The Olympics can make the world more peaceful. Here is an easy question, why we have wars? Because big countries want to get more land from small countries, they will have more resources, like gas, gold, even water. But The Olympics can't let big countries earn that. (Of cause it can’t, The Olympics is a fair, peace match.) But big countries want to prove they are rich, the GDP is good to "fight" for getting the opportunity to hold The Olympics next time. The true told us, also we have The Olympics, but countries are still invent new weapons. That means The Olympics doesn't make sense on peace. People are still getting ready for wars. The second reason is in The Olympics, the most basic thing is talents. The most athletes are hard work, because all of them are geniuses on their sports. Talents can't be control, they are connate. So The Olympics can't means the country is stronger than others. But I think one of The Olympics is good that is normal people can get honors for their countries, this is a good way for countries, because that people will love their countries more and more. Also in China, I think it is a chance for people who come from poor places, they can use their talents to let their family have a better life. People will proud for they are holding The Olympics, the foreigners will have a good trip between The Olympics, people will be polite, the environment will be better, even the safety will be better. So The Olympics is a good match but it just a match for people. Maybe we should have more things to do to let countries don’t have money on fight, is it?
ReplyDeleteThe Winter Olympics are about to begin. It will begin on February 7th in Russia. Oh!! They will be held in many sporting events and my favorite event is skater, but I don’t know how to play it! ==And I never enjoy the games .
ReplyDeleteI don’t want to pay attention to the big event!!! Because I am not interested in sports so much! But I will pay attention to the news about the Winter Olympics; like that how many medals do Chinese athletes get, just that.
I think the games can help make the world more peaceful. The athletes from different countries get together to join the big event. I think it’s very interesting and meaningful. But I know there has unfairness. Some countries are developing and the government doesn’t have enough money to give allowance to athletes, so these athletes are hard to get medals. Once upon a time, China was labeled the “sick man of Asia ”. But now, our Chinese athletes can get good grades in Olympic games, I feel proud of it and I hope many other countries which are developing can be strong, get good grades and make a contribution to world pace.
By the way, I heard a piece of news about “Should Americans go to Sochi, Russia, for the 2014Winter Olympics? ”The news says the Winter Olympics are the ”most dangerous Olympics” for USA. In my opinion, it’s difficult to present my opinion. I just want each country remembers the game aims are peaceful! The world can’t stand a war. We just have one home ,one life and one world.
Winter Olympics are about to begin, and I still have no idea with it yet. It’s an unacquainted word to me. Only sport I’ve heard is skiing, and the other like lugging, tobogganing is thoroughly none-hearing. To contrast with Summer Olympics, there are much fewer sports that I have attempted or played. Meanwhile, There is much less attention on TV or news. Winter Olympics are not ceremonious as the summer one. So in my mind, these sports are sort of lacking attraction for me. I’d love watching some matches like swimming, basketball or even boxing maybe. I don’t think it’s worth attention somewhat. These sports may get agreement from the expert. As a Layman like me will only pay attention on how many prizes my nation earns.
ReplyDeleteI believe athletes who take part in are all interested in this kind of sport. They want to improve how much they love the sport, and in addition, they want a prize to get some honors or prestige.
I think it has a very little relevance to helping make world peaceful. Not to mention some athletes fell into an indulgent life. They make no difference. What if they do some charities, it only has a very little effect to the whole world. So I think it’s meaninglessly peaceful of Winter Olympics.
I am not interested in watching sports,so I haven't watched the winter olympics in past several years.I heard that the winter olympic is about to begin when I was having dinner with my homestead parents.They were not only told me the winter olympic is coming but also told me the winter olympic has a very fine performance.Comparing with the common olympic game, they prefer the winter olympic game.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, the winter olympic game are entertaining and with high artistic,it also has many kinds of performance.So I would rather watch the winter olympic than the common one.I may pay attention to the winter olympic this year because it will just hold once every four years.I like the ski best,I think I will cheering for the skiing game particularly because it is one of the sports that i would like to try in the future.
I think the winter olympic will makes the world more peaceful because this game will strengthen exchange,promote unity and make the people from different countries know each other better.
The winter Olympic will be held in in Sochi, Russia in Feb. For me, due to the objective condition, which I come from the place where there is no snow, I really seldom understand some games of winter Olympic. For instance, ice hockey, skating and curling. That is the games I know will play in the winter Olympic game.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite game is curling games. When I was a child, I thought that skating is too boring, because the athletes rolling the circle in the whole game, I was just an ordinary and had no idea to understand the strategy and tactics in the game. Ice hockey, which I don’t really get all of the rule about the game and which is believed full of violence and conflict. Although I can't understand it, I will watch it sometime. So every winter Olympic game, I just watch curling. I reckon that curling is interesting. The first reason I choose it because it is easy to understand the rule and you can easily to find who win the game. Secondly, there is no any body conflicts in the game which means there is no violence. Thirdly, I can use some coins to simulate the game, may be it is too simple to replace the really curling games during my elementary school.
Somebody believe that Olympic game can bring the peace to the world and in truth, it really accomplish the job in past. However, I think that the game can’t take the really peace in the world. Most time, these games make no difference in peace of the world. The desire is the reason why the world always have a fight. For example, religious, money, the opportunity of living. This big problem which involves all of complex feelings can’t be easily solved by a game. On the contrary, a game which full of conflict may be cause a bigger fighting like English soccer games. So if we hope to keep the world peace by the Olympic games, It seems ridiculous and stupid.
Actually, I don't care about the big news. I always feel this kind of big event is so far away from me. There is no this in my true life. When I was in China at home, my father always asked me to watch China Central Television. I don't like watching so many old men on the TV. My father really pay a close attention to news of the world. So particularly The winter Olympics he can't miss. But this year he can't watch and drink with me.
ReplyDeleteI didn't like sports because of my lazy body. But now I like ice hockey even though I don't know how to play it at all. I think all the ice hockey players are handsome. I mean not their faces, is spirit. Ice hockey can make a boy change to a man. During the game, all players have to be very fast. Everyone is full of courage and spirit of adventure. It's impossible to avoid fight. This is a part of ice hockey. I like watching the man who is sweating. That's the real man. He will fight until die.
As far as my concerned, The winter Olympics only can promote people's quality. If you want to keep the world peaceful, that's not far from enough. Sometimes, the desire is always a desire. The world peace is big problem.
I'd like to watch The Winter Olympics. There are many racing games in winter olympics, like short track speed skating and ski downhill. I think these are more exciting than running or ball games. And my favorite outdoor snowboarding is also an important item in winter olympics. Players will snowboard in a half pipe. When they jump into the air they can spin in the air and make some movements. Shaun White is a famous American snowboarder. He has won many champions in his career. He can spin in the air for a long time. It is enjoyable to watch his performance. And I believe games can help our world be more peaceful. Competitors represent their countries to compete friendly. They build friendships and their countries may build friendly relations. And one of the olympic spirits is for peace. So I believe the games can help our world be more peaceful.
ReplyDeleteI think olympics are peaceful events. There are athletes from every country. They compete different kind of events. So there are couple of skiing events especially in winter olympics. I like skiing events. My favorite one is ski jumping. The ski jumpers are so fearless. They do not afraid from height or speed even they are jumping with high speed from really tall platform. That is the reason that why i like most ski jumping. So of course i am getting excited about it.
ReplyDeletei prefer the non winter olympics but i always cheer Spain in all the events cause in their time , in Spain the most popular sport is the soccer and the other sports are not even important for a lot of persons for example if Messi score he will be on the news instead of the world champion Mireia Belmonte in swimming is just unfair so i think the olympics is the only way that a lot of awesome athletes can bright above the soccer.in winter olympics i like to see snowboard and ice skating(artistic).of course i think the olympics are time of peaceful is one of the causes why they were created in the ancient greek they couldn't have any war during the olympics ,it was a rule.now we have wars during it but its a time when all the world is friend with each other, healthy competition between countries cause the sports can join the people and make us be friends with people we never thought could be our friend.
ReplyDeleteI just went to snowboarding yesterday, it is really a kind of excited sport to do, I really enjoy when I was spending time with it, so I think the athlete I will pay attention to is snowboarding. Some people like ski very much, they think ski is fast and excited, I do not think so, ski do fast, but snowboard is much more cooler than ski! You can even fly and do different roll or toss when you were snowboarding, and also it is hard to learn when it just started, so for me it is more challenged. I think in some situation, the olympics can make the world more peaceful, athletes from different countries assemble together to the same thing, and a lot of people see these on TV. It can make the world more peaceful, but it is just a little.
ReplyDeleteI only watched the opening ceremony of Olympic Games once until now. It was 08 Beijing Olympic Games. I was deeply touched by the opening ceremony. I saw lots of people from different countries and I even didn't know some of them before.It help me get more information and learn more about them. My favorite event in the Olympic is badminton. One of the main reason is Chinese usually good at playing badminton. I believe the Olympic Games make world more peaceful. People can study all kinds of culture and history through the games and be easier to understand the difference between countries. As people get to understand more about each other, the conflicts between peoplewill get less.

DeleteThe Winter Olympics is coming. My favorite event is figure skating. I don’t like winter, therefor I hardly doing exercise particularly by ice or snow. But I’d to enjoy the show of figure skating. That’s like dance on the ice, so beautifully. I bet athletes have practice a lot to finish the whole choreography. That’s why they can be very lightsome, elegant and calm. I am quite excited when they revolving and jumping. I don’t even know one of athletes’ names. I didn’t pay attention to their names. I just notice which country their come from and how great the score is. I have to say the Olympics quite help the world peaceful. Because beginning of the Olympics. The travel of flame is start in Greece. The peace doves, jasper olive branch… These are symbols of peace. Besides, the athletes are come form different counties, they fair complete with others. That’s an honor of country also oneself.

I don't have a favorite player but I watch it. I want to learn ice hockey. I like skiing too. I think Winter Olympics is better. Winter Olympic is good because many people join the game. People play together. It is fun. Olympics can make world peaceful. The winner can have the medal. I like the gold medal. We should have more Olympics game. Next Winter Olympic is at Sochi. I want the game to go China so I can watch it at home.

I think the games can help make the world more peaceful. The athletes from different countries can see together, and hang out at Sochi. I think it’s very interesting. Some countries are developing and the government doesn’t have enough money to give allowance to athletes, but there work hard and try to get medals . I think it not very difference , because every body go to Sochi get medals. But every body think Sochi is bad, I was there 3 years ago and there is very nice, and all people be happy at Olympics. I wish Latvian hockey team get gold medal then I be proud with Latvia.
In fact, the Winter Olympic Games for me is very strange because our country has never held, at the same time it is not famous as the summer Olympics in China, and it is often held in winter when we go to school, we have no time to watch, so I have no big expectation for winter.

The Olympic Games for the role of peace, I think it is great because the reason for the Olympic Games is held is in order to maintains the peace of the world. When the Beijing Olympic Games slogan "one world, one dream". And we have carried out the "friendship first, competition second" principle. In the Olympic Games, we can see the athletes from all countries to go on behalf of the state to participate in the competition, this is to promote the peaceful relations between countries is still force.
In my opinion the Winter Olympics can make the world more peaceful, there have some reason to explain it.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all the Winter Olympics is fair, there are a lot of rules that is make by a lot of country so all the country’s player is the same, no one can cheat, no one have more superiority. Those rules keep the Winter Olympics fair if someone cheat they will get the Sanctions by the group that manage this Winter Olympics. For those reason Winter Olympics is a fair gam for all the people in this world, so every country will agree this game like the Olympic Game.
Every country can use their players to join this game and get the honor for them, and every country will agree the rules and result if there are some contradictions between two countries, they can use this game to competition inside of a war, so Winter Olympics can use his fair to make this world peaceful.
Second this game is frankly and friendly, every country will try to get the qualifications to show their country to the world, let people know their country is beautiful and friendly, so the country who host the game will try to show the best of their country to the world. To act as a host of the game, the country will be friendly to all the spot players also their country who come to their country to join the Winter Olympics. It can help the countries become closer.
Last but not least, the Winter Olympics is a game, whatever it’s big or small, a game just can be a game forever, if you want to play a game with another people that means you already is his (or her) friend, who wants play a game with a people that you hate. So at the beginning of all the people who join the Winter Olympics already become friends.
To sum up, Winter Olympics can help the world become more peaceful, because it’s fair friendly and it’s a game.
I rarely pay heed to the Winter Olympics even now because I wasn't mad about winter sports until I had a chance to learn skiing here. I am unfamiliar with sports particularly the Winter Olympics Sports as there are not many channels and shows about them.
ReplyDeleteI used to love watching the figure skating because I knew how to play roller skating. At the present, I find skiing is also a fascinating sport as well! I don't have specific athletes that I admire and love very much. However, I find that sports are essential to our life because I am realizing participating in sports especially in Winter does far more good to ourselves than we expect.
Personally, I think the Olympics does limited help to make the world more peaceful. We still can't prevent some unwise people from doing harm to other people.
On the other hand, I believe athletes who win the prize absolutely not only brings honor to himself but also to their countries.
Above all, I hope the concept of the Olympics can be realized and understood by more and more people.
I won't pay attention to the Winter Olympics, because it isn't famous as the Summer Olympics, and I still have to study during the Winter Olympics. I come from the south of China. During the winter, it doesn't snow so much, and the weather isn't cold as in Maine, so the winter events aren't popular in my hometown. The sports events entertain the people and let more and more people do sports. In the Olympics games, the athletes compete for the glories of their countries, but through competing with each other, we can understand the Olympics spirit. The Olympics spirit includes friendship, solidarity, and justice. When we realize it, the world will be more peaceful.
ReplyDeleteI don't pay attention on wither Olympics, because I don't like the sports in wither Olympics. Also I don't think wither Olympics can make world more peaceful, because wither Olympics cant bring any money or benefit for a country. The problem between countries are resource, country becomes wars because they want to get more resource. So I don't think wither Olympics will make world become peaceful.
ReplyDeleteI am not really familiar with the Winter Olympics because I am not a big fan of winter. My hometown never snows, so people are less enthusiastic about winter sports. I've heard of some good skiers from Korea though. If I really had to choose a team to support I'd absolutely choose Team Hong Kong as it is where I am from. I like watching sports, but my favorite are volleyball and basketball. So I usually only pay attention to the Olympics but not Winter Olympics. Although the original spirit behind Olympics to make peace among countries, but I don't think the modern Olympics work that way any more. It's more like a tool, for strong country to show off their power and earn profit from tourism.
ReplyDeleteI am terrible at playing sports, so I didn't pay many attention on the Winter Olympics. In fact, my father is really good at playing sports. His most excellent sport is ping pang. He also can play other games, and he often watch this kind of sports television. I didn't get attack on that, but I really like watching figure skating. Figure skating is the most similar sport as dancing. Each group of skaters wear beautiful dresses or suit, and they "dance" on the ice with the music. That looks very fancy. My favorite part of figure skating is when the boy “throws" the girl into air, and the girl turns a circle in the air. At that moment her skirt fly with her. She just like a beautiful bird which will fly to the heaven. However, she still go back to the embrace of her "lover". what a romantic sport!
ReplyDeleteOlympics and other sports games are very good meeting and show in the world. They show each country's abilities and cultures. That's pretty good and they should get more attention, but I don't know they also include peace. To me, they just a competition between country and country, and they shows the power and advantage of sports. They are matches, so the same meaning is the countries need to "fight" with each other. This is the opposite of peace. However, maybe in the match, country and country will make a good relationship, but it doesn't means the matches are opened for peace. That's my opinion. In private way, I suggest people to pay attention on this kind of sports meetings. Whatever it is include peace or not, it is still a good place to show the beautiful of sports and the different cultures.
Actually,I didn't watch it before because it's not famous so that I didn't.Well,I think winter Olympics is just like what a Olmpics game is.They hold a game for the most famous and best athletes to join to propagate peaceful.I think it will help our world to be peaful because this program makes people relaxed as well as propagate peace to people.And it's also funny to watch some programs like basketball and running stuffs.According to above,winter Olympics will help world peaceful and also gives out a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteI’m not very interested in the Winter Olympics, so I do know what kind of sports they have. In my opinion, I don’t think there would be many people watch the Olympic games cause people are very busy. In the modern world, the population is racing, many people can’t get chance to have a job. Therefore the people who already get a job should try their best to work hard, if they don’t, their boss would find a better ones to instead of him. These days, if you don’t work hard and always complain, that you will be replace by another person. People have no time to see the Olympic games cause they should have a rest but not spending their time and energy to watch the matches. Also, I don’t think the Winter Olympic can let the world become more peaceful. The Olympic games is just a sport’s competition, it has no ability to make the world more peaceful. The sport’s competition just can let the people know what kind of sports their good at and can know more people around the world. The powerful countries just use the Olympic games to show how powerful their countries are. Totally, the Winter Olympics make no difference for the world peaceful.
ReplyDeleteI like to watch Winter Olympics game, because I want to watch curling. The Chinese curling team won a gold medal in last Winter Olympics game. So I want to watch curling game. And I hope they can win a gold medal this year. I thing Olympics game is important and I believe Olympics game can make the world more peaceful. I think Olympics game can make different country know other country forte. Olympics game can make people positive. Coubertin said: "The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part, just as the most important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle. I like snow and ice and I like to watch the Winter Olympics. In the Winter Olympics, the project I most like is figure skating. There is a particular athlete that I will be cheering for, Yuna Kim. She is the winner of figure skating in 21th Olympics Winter Games. She is currently the skating ladies all project world record holder. I have great respect for her and I hope she will get good grade in the Winter Olympics 2014. I think the games can help make the world more peaceful. Countries can build friendship through the games.The athletes maybe will become good friends.
ReplyDeleteThe Winter Olympics is held from today to 23 Feb. Last semester I took fitness, in the class we played floor hockey for several times, I feel exciting about that. From this game we can learn the teamwork is extremely important. In Winter Olympics, there is a game called ice hockey. Perhaps, ice hockey will become the game that I only watch. In my opinion this game is more fun than floor hockey. Because the ice skates can give the players faster thereby produce the faster paced game. I think the games can make world more peaceful. When the players participate the games, they would communicate the culture with each other. And learn more about other countries. At last, I hope this session Winter Olympics will be held successful and give us deep impression.

I am only interesting in ice hockey and figure skating. Figure skating like dancing in the ice, it is really beautiful. The athletes need a lot of practices to complete an action. Even the athletes need a long time to complete a turn or a jump. I think the Winter Olympic Games cannot make the world more peaceful. Even the athletes are come from all over the world, they just come to together to have a competition. May be between the countries may have a little help. If there is conflict between athletes, there will be a may cause of the country.

When I was in my country, I haven’t watched The Winter Olympic before and if I had had a chance to watch it, I don’t think I would be interested in it. In my country, the weather is so hot, so we don’t care about winter sports. Another reason, why I don’t care about winter sports is that I’m not good at winter sport like ice-skating. I have tried many times but I still can’t skate. I still fall down, much more than children do, so I think winter sports are very dangerous and If you aren’t careful, it’s easy to get hurt yourself. However, although I don’t like winter sports, I think The Winter Olympics are a good chance for all athletes come from many different countries around the world to show their real talent and their love for their country. In my opinion, this event can contribute a change the world. It can improve the relationship between countries and their spirit toward sports.

I have learn skiing for two months in Sunday river. I think that I do well. I will watch the whole game of skiing and cheer for it because I Love this kind of sport in my heart. I’m interesting about winter Olympics. Because Today we tell about the Winter Olympic Games at Russia.About five thousand men and women from more than eighty countries will compete for seventeen days at the Sochi Olympics. They will compete in more than eighty separate medal events in fifteen sports. The games are about sportsmanship, hard work, and national pride. The athletes share a common goal -- to do their best and win a gold medal.
ReplyDeleteI have a favorite event that I like to watch it’s one of the Olympics sports, boxing. But it’s not a sport for the Winter Olympics. I’m not interested in the Winter Olympics because Thailand is a hot country so we never joined the Winter Olympics. Most of the people watch the Winter Olympics because they are cheering for their Countries teams. But in this Winter Olympic doesn’t have Thai athletes so I’m not cheering for any athletes. Although I said I’m not interested in the Winter Olympics but I have to pay attention to it because pay attention to the Sochi Winter Olympics is one of my homework in People&World Culture class. I think the Winter Olympics make no difference about the peaceful because it just sports and it’s a competition, everyone wants to win.

For example Nordic ski jumping two snowboarding Alpine Skiing Short Track speed skating sled down ice hockey-style cross-country skiing Biathlon Curling Figure Skating Freestyle Skiing Luge. But I think the winter Olympics can bring us peace. Because the games can be fair and impartial between countries. Help ease the contradiction between the countries. I like riding mountain bike. I always go with my friends. That is very fun.
ReplyDeleteToday the 2014 Winter Olympics official opens in Sochi, Russia. In Vietnam, because of the tropical weather, we don't know about The Winter Olympics at all. This is the reason why I am extremely curious and want to know more about this event when I first heard about it.
ReplyDeleteAfter researching and watching many videos about this event, I find alpine skiing is the most fascinating sport that I have ever known before. This sport requires a wide range of snow, skillful techniques, … and especial the passion.
In my point of view, this competition not only brings the participants but also the audiences all around the world together. Moreover, being athletes who join the Winter Olympics definitely bring pride to their country whether they win or not. If the Winter Oympics effected badly to the world peace, they would not hold it.

I haven't saw the winter Olympic game before. I like ski. That's my favourate sport in the game. I will keep focus on it. The winter Olympic game can make a lot of opprtunity for a lot of country to communicate. And it although provide a chance to let us to know more about many countries. I like to watch figure skating because of YuNa Kim. I like her very much. she is so beautiful and, her moves are literally gorgeous, it is an impression. I also like to watch speed skating. There are many good korean skater in it. Gary always say like korea is bad at speed skating but I don't think so. In my opinion korea is even better than china. By the way, there is one sad thing about korean speed skating. That is Viktor Ahn's naturalization. He was one of the best skater in korea. But, because of the stupid Korean Skating Union he has been naturalized as a russian but, koran people are still cheering him.
ReplyDeletei dont really like the winter olympics cause they are kind of boring for me. i come from a country where we dont have winter or neither snow. so we dont really pay attention to those sports. we mostly watch soccer and basketball. thats why im excited for the world cup than these. i think that sport can bring peace to a country and we sow that a lot of times. like for example in South Africa when people got together as one country. it cant bring total peace but at least 60%. i believe in it and i wish we could have it every two years instead of 4.

I can not only watch the basketball games, but also other sports are more exciting. I won't cheer for the athlete because I don't even know them, although the Chinese athlete. In the past, sprint is my favorite sport. I like Xiang Liu very much. When I watch his match, it make me very excited. But in last olympic game, he didn't do very well. He got hurt in the match, and I can't believe that. I hope he can get good grde in the future. I also like to watch table tennis. When I was young I always play it with my father or friends, and I am very enjoy it. When I watch the table tennis, as if I went back to the past. I can remember many things that happen in the past.

ReplyDeleteIn the Olympics, my favorite item is the short track speed skating, this item is the traditional greatest sport in Chinese winter athlete item, we have so many world champions on this item, especially 2 world records, those events are women 500 meters and woman 1500 meters.
In the olympics games every players have a great athletic environment and they have a fair game environment, and they will have a great communication, so this shows us the world peace, it's a great start to let this earth to be more peaceful. This is the olympics' original idea.

I think Olympics it's not interesting for me. So I am not really know a lot of news about Olympics. But I like some activities in winter. I want try skating, but I never try that because I think It's dangerous. I like make a snowman with my friends! last year I make a snowman, It's very cute! I like snowball too! It's so fun! so I like winter! but I don't like winter Olympics, and I never care Olympics! I am very sorry about that!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen the Winter Olympic Games, because I am not a big fan of sports. I don’t have any political evaluation, I did not have any ideals to make the world peaceful. In fact, these events don’t have any direct contact with me, I can't feel it has any impact on my life.
ReplyDeleteI think the Olympics only reflect peaceful is held in the Olympic Games period between all the competing countries may not be a war. But this does not resolve the contradiction of real. I think the Olympics is more like a symbol of good wishes. On the basis of a relatively fair, friendly competition. Even that is not fair, also there is a contradiction.

I have no interesting with Olympics. I like sports but I do not like watch other people play. Every time when I watch the game I feel bored and sleepy - -Zzzzz. Maybe many people think the Olympics has the special meaning, but I think its nothing. In China, the government pay more than hundred million dollar for the Sports Authority. But you know the corruption is always happen. So I think the Olympics is just a big competition.
ReplyDeleteI think I don’t and never pay attention on the winter Olympics because I am not interested in winter sports like skiing, but I have to say Olympics game is a good chance to merge world culture, the athletes who are from different country will know different culture from each others. I think the winter Olympics game can help world to be more peaceful and unity because I don’t think some countries want to war at this time. Russia can use this chance to show other countries its power and financial resources, and the government summits from different countries can hold the summit meeting at this time, like China and Russia.

In China, we always pay attention on Summer Olympics. And Summer Olympics athletes are more famous than Winter Olympics athletes. And I don't like cold weather so I don't play or like any event in Sochi Olympics game. Although I don't watch the games but I watch news everyday, the news about Sochi Olympics game is a very big event so the news about Sochi Olympics game is always on the front page of the news.

Show efforts and fight hard. They also make friends from this. Even there are some conflicts between these countries, these don't influence the relationship between athletes.

So, I didn't see any games about this winter Olympic, but i heard some news about that. To be honest, I don't like winter Olympic games, they all boring i think, even i am living in Saco Maine now, people around here are very crazing about winter sports.
