Hi! My name is Lily. I am a Thornton Academy student. I want to learn English because I like English so much. Many people from different countries like Japan, Canada and China can speak English.

If i talk with Americans I can practice my English, and I can know how to make right sentences. I believe in the future I can make sentences better than i can now.

Also it won't have problem on language when we have misunderstand. And I think the way to learn language is go to their country in their life. But I think it's necessary for us to learn.With the development of economy and society, English is used in many areas.More and more people are speaking English. And English can be a skill. If you are good at speaking English, you can make friends with people from different countries all of the world. Then, you can improve your knowledge. It's important for us to learn how to get along with others. Maybe you have more friends,you will consider more for others.
I like America.I like life and people here. America is the strongest country in the world.No doubt it's a good choice to learn English here. I admire that people can speak English very well. At least I can understand what teachers said. I hate this kind of feeling that just like I and others in the two different worlds. I'm too young too simple. I thought I don't need to learn those useless knowledge. I'm wrong. Life here is more difficult than my imagination. I have a dream. I want to study well in America to realize it.

Why do I learn English ? I think it is a question which is difficult to answer .First,with the tide of globalization,people should know different things from different regions and need to cooperate and exchange,so they should have the same language .And Learning English is easier than learning other languages.And English is an international language now.Many countries make English as second language.In China ,students should learn English and I am from China ,so I need to learn.Second,I left my parents to study abroad to USA.I want to improve my English and I want to be admitted to American good universities.Finally ,America is a developed country .The most important is that the education in USA is advanced.So, in my opinion ,It is a good place for me to choose .Meanwhile,the third point is why I choose USA.

why do I learn english? In fact, I'm interested in learning English very much .And English is also the language we have to learn .With the development of the world .English is becoming one of the most important languages now. Learning English is also good for us in the future,we can find a job easier than others who haven't learned English.The grade of your English will decide if you can work here.The higher grade you get,the better job you could get.That is the reason of why I learn English.

Education here is better than that in China as well.We can improve English immediately if we just talk to people in English in daily life.Teachers here are also patient enough to hep us learn English phrases till we understand.I believe,good environment and good teachers will push us better.That's why I choose to study in America.

ReplyDeleteFirst I'm learning English, because English is a worldwide language. Almost everybody can understand English. I can use it for my future, for a good work, to travel, and to communicate with my friends who use English as a first language or as a second language. I chose to come to study in America, because English language is a first language in American. So it is more easier for me to improve my English skill, and my English accent.
I really think it is a stupid question, if i can study in USA by chinese, of course i won't learn English, but I just can not do that, so that why i am learning English.What i want to say is, i am not here just for study English, i am here for study kinds of different type of knowledge such as math, chemistry and physics, not only for English. I admit that English is a kind of wonderful language, it is simple, convenient and magic,but that not means i will love it, there are a lot of advantages about English, but i just prefer my first language which named Chinese! Learning English definitely helps us make different kinds of friends all over the world, as it's the most popular language all over the planet. Besides making a great contribution to the world's civilization, language can help each of us get a great job, make lots of good friends and things like that. Thus English is the key to a better and happier life, since it has a overwhelming advantage on popularity. That's why I enjoy learning English.

ReplyDeleteIf I stay in China,absolutely I can also learn English. However, the Chinese School always give students lots of pressure. We not only have English.We have Math,Chemistry, Chinese,History,and Fitness. These classes will be tested when we finish high school. Although we are hard-working, it still isn't enough to get all these classes done. We study English is just for the test. When test is over, we will forget everything.
I stay in USA, so everyday I can get touch with English. I study with American people, and I live with American people. Everyday passed, and my English improved everyday. This is much better than stay in school, and rote learning those boring words.That is why I come to America to study.
In other Chinese people's eyes, our parents is cruel because we are too young. The people thinks we need to be looked after.Our parents heard these. Of course, they know it is cruel, but we must go to USA. English is too important. If we are good at English, that we will have more chance to have a good job in the future.we don't need to worry about the life. If we are good at English, we can travel around the world. We can make lots of friends, and taste many delicious food in everywhere. That is the relaxing life.
If we are not good at English, we won't have a better life. If we did not come to America, we wouldn't have the chance to improve. I never forget what I want, and I never regret to come to USA.
Why I learn English? Because English is most popular language in the world, and in my country, I must to study it all school life. I has been think English is very difficult subject for me, and in middle school my English ressult isn’t good. I change my mind until I came to summer camp in Thornton, it really really change me a lot.
ReplyDeleteIn the summer camp, my English became better and better, that’s because I have to speak English every day, and another important cause is about two classes, Ms.Kolmar’s claas and Miss.A’s class, they let me know English also can be very interesting and eazy to learn, thank them very much.
I also have many other causes to learn English, like I wanna travel to some country, if I speak English very well, I can travel in there although I dont know language of that country. Maybe in the future I will go to the university then get a job in America, so I need to improve my English, it can let my life better.

As people know, America has the best universities in the world. That's the reason why I studying in America. And America is a English speaking country, I have to speak English here and I will use it in university in the future. So I have to study English. And I will stay in America in few years so I choose to come to America to learn English. Living in a English speaking country is easier to study English. I think study in an environment use English as native language is much more better than learn English in China.

When we go traveling to other counties, we often can use English to communicate with others. Secondly, speaking English can help us to make a variety of friends from different countries and learn more about counties’ culture. The last one is, if we master of English, maybe we will have more good job chance than other people. In my opinion, studying English in America is a good way to improve my English. Not only improve listening but also speaking. Although we can learn English in China, it just for tests. As long as after the test, I will forget anything completely what I have learnt. In America, we must use English everyday. It can improve English more quickly than that in America. That is why I’m studying English in America.

ReplyDeleteIf you aske me why I learn English, I just want to say "I love it!" I think it is a beautiful and useful language. In China the most of the students should learn English, if they can speak fluent English is an advantage for Chinese students.
Why I come to America to learn English? Because I love American pop culture, like music, movies, art, fashion. I really want to improve my English, because I think it can direct understanding of American popular culture, learning English in the United States is more can deepen my understanding of American popular culture.

If I can speak a perfect English it will be much easier to make more friends. Second of all, English is the easiest language in the world. I would like to learn this language because I had a hard time to remember the spelling of the Chinese words though Chinese is my first language. Finally, English is my second language, which I had already learned some in China.
Many reasons made me decide to learn English in America. English is international language that is the reason why I think it is important. If my English is pretty good, then I don't have the problems that I can't travel around the world. I am holding the dream for long time. But I am not crazy about how many countries I traveled. I prefer stay somewhere for a year or longer. Get a job, rent a house, live the way like indigene. It is better to know culture deeply instead of travel for weeks. Besides I’m not that person who is very homesick. For me that ‘s enjoyable. The reason I study in American is here has very strong subject in collage, and that is my favorite subject.

That’s wasn’t my voluntary to come here to study. It was because, my family was working in US , they have a company at LA. That why they want me to come here to study English. I learn English for two reasons. First, English now is the world language, almost people around the world can speak and understand English. If you want to ask me why we should study English, my answer will be simple and clear, and that is why i come to TA to study english in America. I think that if i come to here i will have a good english environment to study english.
