- I have been a language teacher (ESL/ELL, French) for 30 years. I have taught in public and private schools, immersion programs, refugee programs, adult/continuing education, elementary, middle, and high school as well as university. Currently I teach ELL at a high school somewhere in New England.
I never thought of lama as my favorite animal. I don't like domesticated animals in general. They are all nasty and smell really bad. I love tropic animals. Like jaguar is my favorite one. I love wild cats, they are gorgeous. Even at the zoo when i'm around them i feel intoxicated my their wild and nobel spirit. They are strong, domesticated animal are weak that's why jaguar will be a predator and lama will be a victim which will be eaten .

My favorite animal is squirrel. They are small but cute! And they have they have a soft and warm fur. And a furry tail. The squirrel is not a common animal in China. Anyway in my hometown it's not. I just can see it in attraction or has a lot of grass and tress's park. But I America, there has many tress. I saw two squirrels in the garden of my aunt's apartment. That was interesting. Also I like another animal is peacock. In fact, I just like the peacock which one in the "Kung Fu Panda" I think his name is Lord Shen, isn't it?

I have a horse in my hometown, he is very tall, strong and fast. he is my best friend, and my favorite animal is horse. just imaging it, when you ride on a horse, You can feel his breathing and heartbeat， and he takes you run， your body with his rhythm shaken together. It was amazing, it is different form drive a car. As you know, the horse is a tame animal，and in many years ago，the horse has been used for transportation， so the horse is very capable of an animal. The horse is a wonderful animal！
ReplyDeleteMy favorite animal is dog，especially collie. I think they are so lovely and cute. Sometimes they can understand what i said so that when i was sad or unpleasant, i could talk to him. It sounds very strange but it is true. Dogs are human's friends and i love them.
ReplyDeleteI don't have pets in my home. But I like particular animal.Especially panda.They look like a bear, but they are not a bear. They live in China. They have a small tail and fat body. They are black and white. They’re very clumsy, but they can climb trees. They like to eat bamboo very much. And a movie called Kung Fu Panda. That means panda stands for China. I think Panda is lovely. I like them!
ReplyDeleteI never heard that has an animal called llama, in the picture, I can see the llama is so cute, it has long neck and too much fur. But I love dog best, because every dog can understand the owner that what are they thinking. And if the thief coming to your house, dog will barking and bit them.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite animal is lion. Not only because my constellation is Leo, but also because I thinks it is really powerful. They have their own area. And the male lions patrol and guard their own area. Lion is the king of the animal.It is powerful and strong. Therefore, my favorite animal is lion.
ReplyDeleteI favor dolphins! As far as I know, dolphins are very friendly and agile! l love the natural "artifact" of their mouth lines give me the impression that animals can be so different! I also know dolphins are regarded as one of the Earth's most intelligent animals, they even know how to use a mirror! Although I don't like ocean animals, dolphins are the one exception. If human don't offend them, they will not result any injurious attack! So we can't captive them but help them and protect them. Animals are mortal comrades! Damn those freaking men who killed dolphins for their sashimi. Fuck that!

DeleteI've never been living near from big animals, but I had some pets when I was a child. My first pet were 2 rabbit, than I had a dog called "Toy", but he died. And now I have a female dog called by "Luna", she's very special for me! Every time that I was bad in home, I started to play with her, and became better. Now I miss her :( but when I skype with my family, I try to see her by the computer. I hope to see her soon.

My favorite animal is clownfish. The reason is I had watched the movie Finding Nemo. The movie told a story about a clownfish father Marlin and his little funny son Nemo. The little Nemo was so cute in the movie and every girl acclaimed for him. Although the story was not real, and the main characters were dummy, but all of them are in my dream sometimes. I love clownfish, they are beautiful and lovely. They live with sea anemone and enjoy the life in the ocean. I love them so much!
ReplyDeleteI don't like big hairy animal, I am ok with hairy dogs and cats, not this kind. My favorite animals is cat. I prefer cats that have short hair. I like them because I feel like cats are really smart like humans. I feel like they can understand everything we do. And they can be really cute.

I like pig because in China everyone year has a Animal sign. I was bron in pig year. And in China pig is a blessed animal. I think pig is so cute I know there a different pig in world . they can grew up and and very clean . In the eighty s the mini pig endangered then some people find them ， we breeding them ，now it is a popular pet I like pig I hope more people like them
ReplyDeleteIf i have to choose a kind of animals that i like most,i think i will immediately choose lion!Because lions are the kings of the animals,i like lion's temperament,lions can shock its enemies by its growls,lions can defense itself or attack its enemy by its incisive claws！In addition,i can see the cooperation from groups of lions, it reminds us cooperation is another kind of invisible power!Or you can image a lion reaches the top of a hill alone,and winds go through its hair,it gives us a noble king's temperament!It attracts me a lot!So i like these noble,powerful and cooperative kings!!!But right now human devastated the nature a lot, the quantity of lions reduced a lot,if we do not stop this, i think one day we will not see these kings.And we will suffer the natural punishments,for our future i appeal human can stop ecologic abuse!Finally, although lions are kings but when we see them,remember!keep distance from them,they are dangerous!

I love dog!! especially puppy<3<3<3, they're so cute, don't you think. i like dog since i have one. he is so adorable but sometimes he is stupid. all members in my family love him as i am. he usually sleep on the floor in my brother's room with his own blanket and carpet. because my house use air conditioner so it will get cold. if he feels cold, i pretty sure that he will climb on my brother bed and sleep with him at that night!!!! I miss him so much!!! I just talked to him through skype last night, so coolll!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI know many animals because zoo is my home, just kidding! I don't know what my favorite animal is, but right now I just think of parrot. I think it will be interesting if I have a parrot that can speak English or Chinese whatever. Then I will teach him to say some bad words. when I have free time, we can curse to each other. Sometimes I maybe let him to curse other people. That's very funny. Ok, actually I just don't want be boring. My mother will kill me if I teach parrot to speak bad words.

I want to have dog in my future.

She is a female dog.She comes from Nanjing,China.She wears white clothes and she has two big eyes and a small month.She often walks round and round at home.It has nothing to do.She likes eating ice-cream so much.So do I.When I eat ice-cream,she will look at the ice-cream carefully,So I will give her some to eat.I think Bobo is the cutest dog in the world.

ReplyDeleteI just learnt this creature before in U.S. history class. So I feel pretty approachable to llamas.
My favorite animal is the water buffalos. Because not only they can afford meat but also give us labor. Only under buffalos' help, can the human race survive in cold ancient time. By the way, there is another advantage of water buffalos that they are powerful and kind. In addition, it is buffalos that provide us with some useful clothes and dairy product. So I like water buffalos best.
I used to dislike animals, but when I came to Fairfield house, there is a dog called Bredy, it's a medium dog with white and black and smooth fur. When I meet it, it was barking to me. I was a bit nervous, because I don't like dog so much, and it's not a small dog, it's not so cute. Once Mr.Carrier told me that Bredy is very friendly, it likes people touch its fur.
ReplyDeleteThat night I watched baseball with Mr.Morse and Mr. Carrier, Bredy weaved its tail to me, I didn't know the meaning, Mr.Carrier told me it liked you, you should try to hug it, you would like it. So I tried it, I touched it, it looked very happy, it seemed want me pick it up, I picked it up slowly, it is a bit heavy, and it feels very soft and warm.
It was the first time I feel dog is a friendly animal. And it is true that people can make friends with animals. At the same time we should also be friendly to animals and love them.
When I was young, my mother would often take me to the zoo. At the zoo, I saw many strange animals. For example, there were many kinds of birds, monkeys, and snakes. However, I have forgotten what they were called. I liked many animals, however, I could only choose one animal to have; it was a dog. When I was 13 years old, I had a black dog and it was very cute. Every day when I came home from school, it would always be squatting down in front of the door, waiting for me. My dog was sent away later because my parents were too busy from work and didn’t have the time to take care of her. I still have a dog as my favorite animal because they are very clever and friendly.

ReplyDeleteLast year i got a Poodle as the gift that named lucky. Since that i started to like animals , especially dogs. It has a brown hair and large liquid eyes, always follow behind me wherever i am going to. As for the reason why i love it , first because it understand humanity , like when you feel sad and it will come to use it's paws to hug you. Second ,i believed that it is the honest animals in the world, it spends whole life accompany with you regardless of how you treat it. Third, they are so cute and dynamicthat can help you get rid of stress, when i came home it will wags it's tail and bit a ball front of me . Just showed it want to play with me.

My favorite animal is wolf. They are very smart and they have some good behavior. They are inflexible animals! They can wait a prey for 6 hours. They are also a symbol of unity. They always depend on the group to complete something. But many people don't like them. So I think they are very misunderstood animals. They're not monsters. Many people think they are brutal animals, but they never take the initiative to attack humans. Whatever, I like wolf, he always my favorite animal.
ReplyDeleteThere are two kinds of animals such as domesticated and wild animals. I have. There is an enormous variety of wild animals. My favorite is a bear. Bears are very strong. There a lot of bears in Russia. They symbolize my country, and I am really proud of it. Occasionally, sometimes their actions can exceed your expectations. Unfortunately, they can easily kill people. I still like them.

My favourite animal is 'panda'. Pandas look funny and a little clumcy. Their black and white appearnce attracts people's interst especially children. Many people like them very much not because they have got funny appearence, but they are our national treasure. They are the symbol of our great motherland. I keep a lot of photos of pandas taken by me. In my bedroom,there are many photos pandas on the wall. I take them as my "star". Their image makes me happy. I love pandas . Animals can makes me happy. I also has a dog in my home. he is my friend.After lunch I always walk with he. And my family see it as my family member.
ReplyDeleteI love animals! People always say animals are human's friends. That's true. Our world is more colorful because of these animals. I love many animals but my favorite animals are normal, cats and dogs. Because they are the most closed animals for human. Many people have cat or dog as their pet. That's an easy happiness when you go back home tiredly from work and see your cat and dog is running to you. Then you feel you are needed. People need you, your family need you, your pet need you. People can learn many thing from animals.
ReplyDeleteI like pet dogs so much; I think they are so cute and smart. I have kept three dogs since eight years ago, and they are Samoyed, Sheepdog, and Chinese Rural Dog. But the Samoyed called Feifei impressed me the most. He brought me so much happiness and I couldn’t forget him forever. I still remember that I kept Samoyed about three years ago. He was the first one that I fed by myself. One day, I went out to have a trip with my parents, and I let him stay at home alone. However, I was too disappointed when I found that he made the whole house mess; many glasses were broken up and our home had been filled with a kind of lousy smell. Suddenly, I felt frustrated and I found that feeding a dog was really difficult. Even I wanted to give up keeping him. But my father told me that so many things were difficult, so I shouldn’t give up when I faced difficulties and I should overcome them. Finally, I had known how to treat Feifei better and become more patient. Now, Feifei has been my best friend, and I will usually miss him.

ReplyDeleteIt is difficult to think about your favorite animal. In the second place on my list is rhinoceros. Rhinoceros is so big and so strong ,and he is aggressive.
I like big animals because they are strong and they have more energy.In russia we have a lot of animals and you can see them every where you want.
Dolphin is my favourite animal.

Unluckily, the number of dolphins is getting smaller and smaller. Because of water pollution, there is less and less space for dolphins. Many people make money by hunting dolphins. If we don’t protect them, maybe we’ll lose our good friends one day. As a student, I hope more and more people should take actions to protect dolphins.
I have two things should tell you. One is good and one is bad. The good one is that I had many animals before, and I loved them so much because they were all very cute. But the bad one is... The animal were all died. I really like them, and I tried my best to take care of them. But maybe god doesn't want me to have any pet. Then he let my pets leave me one by one. So I decide not to have pet because I don't want to hurt any of them. But I still love animals so much. I always want to have a dog. I think dog is the best animal in the world. Dogs are very loyal, they help people to hunt, find food, and protect people. Now, the police offices and fire stations all have dogs. They train the dog and let dogs help them to do lots of things. Dog is people's best friend. They make people happy and content. I love dog, how about you!?~
ReplyDeleteI like llama even I just saw the picture on here. My favorite animal is cat but I also love make friend with dog. They are loyal, honest, and smart. My homestay family have a dog who is drever, Oscar. We became friend since an impressive experience. School have late night roller skating when I came here first winter. I got back home already 12pm. While I put key into lock, It sticked inside of the lock. That day was snow day. My face was freezing, and I didn't wear much clothes since I thought it is more convenient for skating. But now the cold wind was killing me. Suddenly, I heard Oscar was barking.He woke up my homestay mother to opened the door for me. When that time, I think he is miracle. From that moment, Oscar and me became best friend.

And about my favorite animal... i think it is chicken la... I have seen a movie about chickens' escaping and they are sooooooo cute~~~~>>>> I used to hope to be a farmer and just raise some crops, chickens and ducks. I hope to live in a peaceful life so I can read numerous books and when i am free, i can talk to my cuties~ i mean my chickens...just kidding la... But chickens seem like a kind of person that have a lot of passion all the time but still do a lot of things for others ... It makes me think of my friend... I miss her sooooooo much~!
MY favourite animals are oxes. It's full of energy and power. It can be very agressive and dangerous. If you don't tease it. It will be very kind. But it will be crazy if you put a object which is red in front of it. I like its agressive and crazy!! That is pretty strooong!!!

Pandas are my favorite animals, all the wild pandas live in my hometown. I lived in ChengDu. The are trees all over around the city. As everybody knows, pandas are really relaxing, it also represents the people live in ChengDu. We have most tea houses in the world, which provide people a place for drink tea, chatting, play poker cards and also play MaJiang. I really like pandas because they are really cute. When I see the pictures of panda, I really miss my hometown. ChengDu is s very natural city, if you go to the mountains near ChengDu, you will see many kinds of wild animals, even bears and tigers. I invite you to my hometown, I'm pretty sure when you come, you will love there.

ReplyDeletePandas are very fat and hairy. They have two colours:white and black.The panda'sd face,back and stomach are all white, their eyes nose legs and arms are all black.
The pandas like eating bamboo. Using the paws,he chew the bamboo very slowly with his mouth.
There are two pandas called tuantuan and yuanyuan will send to Taiwan.

ReplyDeleteOWW! Cool, i never saw llama before. From this picture i see the llama is so tall. Actually i do not like this kind of animals. My favorite animal is dog. I used be have a great dog. His name is Labo. Labo is Chinese, but it has no meaning of it. When he was one month, his mother died. He could not drink milk from his mother, so i bought a milk bottle and feed him. His fur is all black. Because his is a Tibet Dog, he is very huge, if he stand use only two feet, he is much taller than me! He is very clever and we have a very close relationship, seems like he knows everything what i am thinking!
