This is a field of tulips in Holland, which is famous for growing these flowers. Tulips came out early this spring thanks to the warm weather, and they have stayed out for a couple of weeks. Do you notice the flowers of spring? Are you glad that the trees have leaves again, and there are colorful blossoms (like tulips) all over? Perhaps you have a favorite plant or flower or tree. My favorite flower maybe is rose. Because it is very beautiful and
the color of rose is very dark. i like the dark color, but sometimes

Honestly, I have to admit that I’m not interested in flowers at all. They smell weird and they make me uncomfortable. Sometimes they do cause people to be sick. They are not important for me. But trees have important function. They make shadow in the summer in order to make the weather cooler. The cooler temperature makes everything better, especially in the summer. I appreciate the tall trees indeed.Though I don't have one favorite tree either.

ReplyDeleteOf course the coming of spring. When I went outside and see all the kinds of flower all over the ground, I'm so glad to enjoy this beautiful natural work. It makes me energetic.
ReplyDeleteI don't feel very happy that the trees have leaves again, and there are colorful blossoms all over. And I prefer strong high trees in fact. I want to say although flower come over, trees are still in the place where they are originally, aren't they?
I like trees, my favorite color is green and brown. There is no necessary to think of which is the source. I just mean I'm not a girl who likes flower or pink color or other cute stuffs. Trees' strength, height and hard encourage me all the time. And it's true that trees are beautiful, aren't they? -w-

There is not a such kind of existent like best for me about plants. I enjoy all of them. Different kind, different beauty. As I just said, I prefer trees, and I like the whole kind of trees. I think trees are more helpful and stronger(about lives).
When I open my calendar,I can tell it is the time for spring.But the weather is still a little bit cold in Saco,so I don't feel like spring is by my side.I didn't any tulips here in Saco,but I saw some dandelion.I like dandelion,when I blow it,the dandelion's baby will fly away,and then they will fly to a place that they want,and grow up.Isn't that so cute and warm??

Mother's day is coming,I still remember I bought a bouquet of flower to my mother and a bouquet of flower for my grandmother.There are many kinds of flowers in it,there are lily，gypsophila，carnation，pink rose and sunflower.Why did I buy these kinds of flower?Lily,gypsophila and carnation are meaning kind, soft and best wishes.Pink rose is meaning pure love,really love.And sunflower is meaning my mother like a sun shining on me,and telling me which road is right for me,which road I should choice.
I like to see those flowers,plants or trees~~But if you want me to breed it, I' ll say no. It's pleasant for me to see the plants. It makes me feel energetic. In saco, there are lots of flowers blossom.The weather is still not good. We can see the tree have leaves again, the grasses are become green.It's a wonderful things.However,the weather is not warm even though a little bit cold.It is terrible!!
ReplyDeleteIf I can cultivate something,I won't choose some beautiful flowers such as rose or tulips. I will choose some plants which have seed that we can eat it.In my garden, I will plant the apple trees,strawberry,tomatoes,etc.HAHA~~ Is it a fascinating garden?
i am not interest in and plants, but i can tell that my favorite plant is rose.There are different kinds of rose, different color of rose represent different feelings.For example, red is love and yellow is joy.So when you want to give roses to someone, color is very important, because they might receive the wrong message from what they got.My favorite color is red, thats why my favorite plant is red roses.It has a special out look,color and smells.It makes people can not forget it.
ReplyDeleteThose tulips are so beautiful! It reminds me my mother, she likes tulips. The mother's day is coming but I can't buy them as a present to my mother. So I consider to buy a tulip plant and show her on Skype! Hahah~ In Saco, the weather is warmer and warmer. I can see lots of Dandelion and small yellow flowers bloom in the lawn! They are so tiny and cute, they bring me the good feeling. Actually, I don't have the most favorite flowers. But I prefer things made of Rose. My body lotion and shower gel and so on are all rose. I like the smell of them. oh～ I remember there are lots of trees was planted in the garden of my house. I miss them so much! There also have a grapefruit trees! I want to eat them! Spring is beautiful season! I can see lots of flowers bloom in a large green lawn!
ReplyDeleteIt makes me confused that though the spring is coming and flowers are blooming, why the weather is still so cold!!! A good weather always makes people feel comfortable and it really helpful when we have so many tests in May and June. The warm weather makes us have good mood to take the test like SAT, Ap, and Toefl. It is really a good time to hang out and ride bike. There is an old saying in china that Spring is the best time to make the plan for the Whole year.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that spring is finally coming. In China, the weather always has been very warm in May. There are some yellow flowers on the grass in our school. The leaves come out again. The days are getting longer. In my hometown, willow and peach blossom are the symbols of spring. However, my favorite flower is sweet osmanthus. It is also the city flower of my hometown. It is a small yellow flower. And it blooms in fall with green leaves. It smells amazing and make me feel really good. And it can help to make sweet-scented osmanthus cake, osmanthus tea and other things. It is not such beautiful but I love it so much.

ReplyDeleteIn all plants, I like Chlorophytum comosum best. It just green with long leaves, but I like. Mom plants Chlorophytum comosum in the balcony at home. It doesn't release perfume. As I was in China, I liked seeing it when I was tired. It can relax and comfort me. I really miss Chlorophytum comosum in my family.
In Maine, there are many trees, flowers, plants. When the grass is mowed, the smell is very nice.
I like flowers as well. They have beautiful colors, sweet smells. But I prefer green plants. They always give me a feeling that I am in the nature. I think green is one of the most beautiful colors in the world.
p.s. I am waiting for summer holiday and coming back to China!!!!!
I don't like flowers, because there are too many colors. I'm a monotonous man, I just like some single color. So, I like forrest or trees. When I look to them, I only can see green and brown, it will makes me comfortable and peaceful. I like take pictures for the beautiful natural view, huge trees can show me how amazing the nature is. I think the green is the most representative color for nature, so I like it. I really feel joyful when I look at the trees or forrests.

ReplyDeleteI feel that spring is coming,because I saw many flowers have opened around the compus. Actually, I prefer winter more than spring.Compare with flowers, I love snow better. SACO is always windy and rainy in spring. These are the weathers which I do not like during spring.

Spring is coming. Although I do not really like it, I will try to enjoy it.
My favorite plant is cactus. It looks normal. But the cactus is the staunchest plant in the world. And I have received a cactus as birthday gifts from my best friend. I think perhaps my best friend wants me be brave like the cactus. In spring, lots of flowers and trees open and it’s very beautiful. I enjoy the flowers and tree but I love cactus best. I want to travel to desert someday. Not only want to see lots of beautiful cactus, but also want to prove I am a brave girl!

ReplyDeleteCompare to the flowers, I prefer the trees, because the flower is too fragile. Populus euphratica is my favorite tree. It grows in the desert, resistance to cold, resistance to drought, resistance to salinity, resistance to sand, it has a strong vitality. It is an ancient species, more than 6000 million years ago to survive on Earth. There was a sentence about it,"Never die until thousand year, never fell down until thousand year after died, never decays until thousand year after fell down."

I m really glad the trees are coming back because the colors outside looks really nice, but i dont know what to say cause it's kinda weird question. I don't have my opinion. I mean it's nice to have flowers outside and it really looks nice, but i will never think about it more then before.
DeleteSo great to have spring again! Everything from nature shows their energetic life. I’m not that kind of romantic person, so I’m even interested in the study of flowers, which means that I love to see the bloom of flowers, but I don’t really care about which kind of flowers are blooming. I really like trees, although I don’t really know too much about trees either. I like green, and sitting under trees in summer is such the most comfortable thing for me to do.

It has been already one year after I left. I still clearly remember how much fun we had last year in our ELL class.

Well, when I see senior's pictures on facebook, I realize that it's the season to say goodbye to our lovely seniors. It was hard for me to leave my friends and my favourate teachers in Maine last year. I just wannt to comment here and tell you that YOU ARE ONE OF MY FAVOURATE TEACHERS!!Hope it's not too late.

Again, we realize that the spring is coming soon. I am glad to see the trees, flowers and animals become active again after the long and cold winter. The colorful and active world shows its best part to us in the spring. Spring brings us the hope, the happiness, and the chance to live with the nature. Among thousands of trees and flowers, which appear in spring, I prefer Forget-me-not or Don’t-forget-me. It is one of the most romantic and allegoric flowers in the world. The smell of this flower will never disappear especially if you put it in the book. Forget-me-not is always used to be the token between the lovers. This romantic and beautiful flower shows the romantic part of the spring, it shows the beautiful part of the spring. Therefore, spring brings us not only flowers, but also the positive emotion and faith to us. Spring is the hopeful season, let’s enjoy this .
ReplyDeleteSpring is an active season. After a chill winter, we meet warm sunshine again.Everything grew up in this time.One of the most representative things is flower. I love flowers, they are beautiful and have a lot of means. Rose means love, Peony means rich, Carnations means mother's love. All of these are meaningful, but my favorite flower is Lily. Lily always bloom at early spring in my hometown.It's white and beautiful.In the legends of mang countries like China, Japan, and Europe, Lily is always regrade as the representation of pure, distinguished,and victory.All of these means are important for me. I can encourage myself by thinking about Lily.

Personally I think I am not the kind of person that loves flowers. I like to enjoy the natural green stuffs. I am a admirer of the pine trees. It is because during the last cold and freezing winter only pine tree was still have the leaves. If a tree without some leaves is considered no vital signs. But pine trees are the exception. Like the ordinary or traditional dramas' time orders. Spring is considered new life ( the leaves are come out and the colorful blossoms.) The summer is considered mature time. The Autumn is considered things are getting old and everything are decreasing their athletic signs. The winter is considered death. In my view that everything could prevail over or accomplish the winter we should applaud them. Due to their brave and unyielding convictions, so they could stay alive.

That makes me so exited and energetic. Anyway, my favorite flower are chrysanthemum and kapok flower. Kapok flower is the flower of my hometown--Guangzhou.Most of the kapok flowers are red.They don't stay on the trees for a long time, so they are very precious.chrysanthemum is another my favorite flower.They are not on the trees.They are on the ground. There are many different colors of chrysanthemum, such as yellow, pink, red. Chrysanthemum tea is made of chrysanthemum flower, that's vey delicious tea and it's very popular in China.The chrysanthemum tea is good for our health.The tea helps in lowering the temperature of the body when suffering from fever or even heat stroke. So, when I go travelling, I will bring some chrysanthemum.
ReplyDeleteI am not familiar and interested in flowers and trees . But I like to see the growing of flowers and trees because it means the winter is over and summer is coming . But here , the weather now is still a little bit cold !! I love the view of the spring , it just like colors come back to the world . In winter , there is just black and white or even white and white !! Everything seem died and everyone is inactive . Cold and low temperature will make things inactive because everything is lacked of energy. But after the winter , colors , energy and everything come back !! I am sorry that I don't have any favorite flowers or trees that I can talk about .

ReplyDeleteSpring is the most difficult time for me. The weather becomes very warm and calm, and I don't want to study during this time.
A lot beautiful flowers appear. Girls like flowers more than men. Despite this fact, flowers makes me happy because the summer is coming. Here in Saco flowers appear faster than in my country. The reason of this fact is weather. In my country we have a great deal floral fields. My favorite flowers are roses.
I also like trees when they have leaves. Trees become very peaceful during the spring time. In my country we have a lot of pine trees. I really like pine trees because they stay green all year round.
We have the house outside of my city in the forrest. It takes 20 minutes to get there by car. When spring comes, we do our place very peaceful and colorful. My grandmother makes a lot flowers around our house. Fortunately, we have also have a lot of pine trees. I really like pine cones. They grow on those trees.
Finally, I like nature, especially when the spring time is coming, and flowers and trees make very peaceful view.
i am interested in a kind of flower name Lotus flower, which is the famous flowers in China. The Lotus Flowers always grow in the pond and they have several colors such as red, pink, white and purple. Tell the true, Lotus flower is a kind of flower which have the longest time in the world and it has very strong vitality, therefore, there are a lot of Chinese poets wrote their poetry about Lotus flower in the past few centuries. In the past, people always ate the fruits of the Lotus to fill their stomach. I prefer Lotus flower because it's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI don't know anything about flowers or trees. However, in my old school, there were six houses which were named by flowers and trees. I was in Cassia, so it is meaningful to me.
ReplyDeleteThis flower is yellow in color and it catches my eyes. These flowers grow in a tree called Cassias. In chinese cultures, cassia represents of sadness. There are many poet also use cassia for their poems. I love Cassia because it makes me to remember the things that I did with my friends and teachers.
I am very glad that a the trees became green again. Thanks spring! For my own option, i love rose. I thank rose is a symbol of love . lots of of people use roses to say their love. also , rose is red. in china , red means good and passion. That's can really represent their love! I don't know much about flowers, but I have my favorite flower which is tulip. First, I like the shape of tulip, I think that is very beautiful. And it has many colors, I like blue tulip most. Second, it smells very good, I like it smell, it can make me feel comfortable. Third, tulips are mother's flower, it means mother. The mother's day is coming, I miss my mother much, I want to buy a brunch of tulips give to my mother. I love her so much.

ReplyDeleteI glad that the trees have leaves again, and there are colorful blossoms because spring is like summer. Weather is so warm this summer but sometime it is cold because we have a lot of rain outside and when it is rain it is going to be cold. My favorite flowers are rose and camomile.
I don't have a favorite trees and plants. In my country i have a lot of trees and flowers and plants but spring in my country is colder than here and every day is rain.People are not happy and they are a lot of time sitting at home.
Spring is coming! Spring is a really comfortable season. Everything is waking up. It's full of energy! And going to visit a flower field in an European country during spring is one of my dream. By the way, Calla lilies is my favorite flower.I really would like to go to France to see a huge field one day~ During the spring vacation, I went to Washington DC. And I visit a lot of farm there. ReplyDeleteHere the spring comes. In China, at this time, most of the place is the time for the "late spring" so that they start to prepare for summer now. But here, it's still cool and a little bit cold outside. I hope that the weather can become warmer and warmer here because I don't like the cold weather. And of course, I like the trees already have leaves, I like the colorful blossoms, I like the grassland and breeze in the spring. I also like flowers for those beautiful colors. It makes me feel great and happy. So I really want to see the real spring here and I really want the weather to be warmer.

ReplyDeleteIn my hometown, the weather seems to be warm in every spring but here we have got a lot of rain and the temperature is too low for the spring. so at this time, I wish the "real spring" will come soon that the weather can be warmer.
My favorite flower is Lily, it smells very good. When the spring come, i have always take my camera out and taking pictures of flowers and animals.I love spring because it smells new and colorful. Every plants have their new leaf and new flowers.And it is not so cold in the Spring also.I'm the kind of person that who can not stand in hot weather, but Spring is just perfect for me.

ReplyDeleteFinally the Spring is coming, which the most beautiful season i think. I love those flower and trees, all of things seems dynamic and fresh. The weather is getting warmer and warmer, and those day is raining, I notice there are some flowers like tulips are blossom, and some trees also have some beautiful flower. Every time I see those flower, i will have a good feeling. Although I am not good at breed flowers, maybe the only thing I can breed well is cactus. There are many kinds flower in my house, although some flower will withered or died, we also keep buying flowers and plantes. My favourite flower is lilac, it is a part of my primary school name, I live with this flower for six years.

Winter has gone, and spring is coming on. Watching the ice melting,I know the whole earth is being rejuvenated from the winter.A variety of flowers come out to show their beauty and bring us fragrance.It is a feast for our eyes and souls. The yellow grass suddenly turn green. The young leaves grow on the branches. The swallows fly back home with the greeting of spring.Everything is coming to life.my favourite follow is tulip,its a really nice flower.
ReplyDeletein my opinion, i think the spring is better than winter, because winter is very cold, even if you wearing many clothes, that's not helpful. the other thing that makes me like spring is the flower. i like the flower which is not colorful, because i don't really like the colorful things, it makes me feel dazzling.i love osmanthus, it smells good. and it is not very colorful.

Most of plants grow up in the spring. Actually, I don’t notice flowers too much unless I see a kind of flowers that I’ve never seen before. I think tulips are common to see in many countries. I even saw some tulips in TA one time. I would like to say that lily is my favorite flower instead of tulips. Lilies are always white. I think their color is just like an angel which look so pure and elegant. Lily is really beautiful.
I like cherry, probably because she is very romantic!I like her short life the beauty of the bloom.In my hometown, there is a very fragrant flowers, her name is called "zhizi flowers".I have not seen them in the United States.They are very beautiful, very white.

ReplyDeleteIn every year, I like the spring and winter best. Though one of my favorite seasons has gone, but another my favorite is coming. The sping's coming makes me happy. Because when this season coming, whole the world become colorful and lively again. Many beautiful flowers, lots of cute animals,and the warm climate all come back. They make me feel content.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite flower is carnation. Because this flower's color is pink, this color makes people feel warm and let our mod quietly. And it smells good. Yesterday was Mother's Day, I bought a bunch of real carnation from the internet, and I sent it to my mother. My mother was very happy. I was so happy too.
The flower can really bring people a good mod!!
It's safe to say that everybody's glad spring is here, even if the weather has been cool and wet lately. One good thing about rain: it grows plants, trees, and flowers, and lots of them were noted by you - lilies, roses, lilacs, tulips, magnolia... Ah spring!

DeleteSpring is coming, we don't have to wear big Jacket and walk in the freezing wind. I love spring so much because it's the season that everything grows. Flower are growing up just like ur picture, they have colorful blossoms. I like the color of growing up. I saw trees have leaves back on, dandelions are everywhere on the field, people all seems like have a brand new life again. I didn't late for school like I did in winter, I'm going to Saco Sports exercising everyday. And I feel like I can post my next Journal on time again!!!!!
i like spring ,because i think it is the best season of the year. everything is renewing. there are many beautiful flowers, and many cute animals, it makes me feel so good. in the best season, people feel warm and comfortable, so i think we should find one day to go out have some spring trip and feel the the natural under the spring.
ReplyDeleteWell I like spring much because the weather is getting warm and warm, it's not cold any more and sure I like the trees have leaves and flowers come out again, because it makes the world look so beautiful, and flowers smells nice so I like spring.
