Yes, I go shopping twice on Thanksgiving Day.In the mall, there
ReplyDeleteare many here to buy something they favorite. I also buy many
things during the "The Black Friday". I think It is very crazy, because people do something crazy. For example, some people
bought many expensive things, GUCCI, LV and so on .Other people
are waiting for the store open until midnight. The weather is clod.
I think I will go shopping in the next few weeks, but I don't buy
many things, I just buy somethings to give my friends and my
parents. I don't like the kind of scene pictured above. I always
like go shopping during vacation and some holidays, because
during these days,the products 's prices are very cheap. So
this is my shopping habit.
I went to the Maine Mall after Thanksgiving, but It's not very busy.
ReplyDeleteThe most interesting thing is there are so many Chinese students, and I have never seen them.
I think it's necessary to go shopping for Christmas' gifts, although I don't like shopping. Maybe I'll go next week.
Most time I go shopping for food. I never feel full. Sometimes I like to go window shopping. I just look for ideas in many ways.
It's filled with happiness and hot mood. People show their true faces at this kind of scene. I don't want to be in so crazy situation, because it's dangerous. But it mat be a good chance to feel the other side of society.
During the black friday, i went to 5th Ave in New York City, but i think people are so crazy, they lined up for one whole night for the black friday, so that when i get inside stores, all goods were out of stocks, and so i didnt buy any thing on black friday. Although i was disappointed at that moment, still i feel glad with that, because that was the first time that i went to New York and i enjoyed it very much, hope that next year i can come there again!
ReplyDeleteit's was very crazy when i was in new york. everything was on sale, lots of discount , it is a great time to shopping. to me, i won't shopping in few weeks, because i don't need anything right now. you know, it's hard to earn money in the end of year, so i won't waste money. i will store it for the spring vacation. to the photo, i love it! i think see the people shopping is a funny thing . i didn't buy anything in blackfriday. when i was stand on the time square , i feel it was amazing! so morden. i love it very much!

ReplyDeletesomething about "The Black Friday" . She said when the first friday after thanksgiving people always go to the mall ，it is very crazy.
And my homestay mother doesn't want to go shopping when black friday. But we went to Maine Mall on Sunday with Eliza and Star . It was not to busy , so she was surprise . I went shopping because I should buy some presents for my family and my friends. I also have to buy some things for my parents' friends , Because before I came to the US ,some of them gave me much money or gift .
In fact , I want to say : choosing the gift for different people is too hard . I don't like shopping . But I have to do that . Before I went to the mall , I made a list about how much gift I wanted to buy, about 30!!!
Now I almost have done~~

ReplyDeleteI was staying in my friend's house and I think during that time,I was playing with the cat and playing myself......But after friday,when I was changing the channel on TV,I saw they was millions of people were shopping in the same mall,I was like:"OMG!"That was really crazy!I think I will go shopping in the couple week,because I am going to buy some presents to my family and friends.
I like this picture,because when the door opened,they were petty excited and happy.I really think they had a wonderful shopping time,and they enjoyed themselves.
I hope next year I can join in black friday .
I didn't go shopping on "Black Friday". The main reason is that I will be lack of irrationality when there is a big sale. People buy a lot of stuffs because they want to spend less money. But,I believe that the best method of saving money is not buying stuffs.I think though some people are crazy, most people are still wise.I won't go back to China during Christmas so I don't need to buy presents for my friends or family.So it's not necessary for me to go shopping. I won't go shopping until 12.18. Honestly speaking, I don't like the picture. I hate crowds.I go to the mall when I know what I want to buy.
ReplyDeleteIn fact,I bought a lot of things on "Black Friday".But 80% things are as gifts for friends and family,for example,bags sunglasses and chocolate.And I went to Detroit,and on that day,I got up at 6 o'clock and then shopping.Everythings are on sale,and I was so excited that I forgot to have a breakfast.And it's my first time to have a Thanksgiving holiday,it's so good!!
ReplyDeleteIn the "Black Frida"y,I didn't go to shopping,because I had cold.But when I went to the lunch in the Thursday night,there were many people wait in the street,it's so crazy.I never do this in China.I like shopping in a quiet space ,not in the place where has too many people.I think I will go shopping in the next few weeks,because I will go back China,I need to buy something for my friends and family.
ReplyDeleteI went to Los Angeles this Thanksgiving vacation to meet my last school's friends. I really had a great time, but we didn't go out for any shopping, because we know that it gonna be so crowded. Even for the last year,I went to Las Vegas for my thanksgiving, I didn't buy too much, and I didn't go out for shopping on Black Friday.
ReplyDeleteBut I still had a really good vacation, I stayed with my relatives, we talked about each other's life, and gather together to share the happiness. I have heard the situation on the picture above, that is the main reason I don't want to go, and it's also really tired. For the next year, I don't know where I will be, but the thing I'm pretty sure is that I won't go neither.
I went to Hawaii this Thanksgiving vacation.We did lots of activities but we didn't go shopping.on Black Friday,we couldn't wake up,so we decided that we won't go shopping.However,I went shopping on Saturday.According to influence of Black Friday,It was still has a lot of people in the shopping mall on Saturday.I don't like going shopping with lots of people.Maybe I'll never go shopping on Black Friday.
ReplyDeleteI went to Florida this Thanksgiving vacation. We did lots of activities.The Black Friday i could not wake up so i went to the Busch Gardens-is a local amusement park of Tampa. I also had a good day. I went to the mall at Wednesday there were not many people in the mall...but on Saturday i went to the mall again there still many people even Black Friday is over. i really don't like going shopping with many people,but maybe except Black Friday i think i will go to shopping in next Black Friday...:)
ReplyDeleteI didn't go shopping on black Friday but I went to free port on Saturday. I went to LLBean with Terrence and my host family. There are still so many people shopping in those stores. The price was lower then before. I bought nothing but a pair of boots. I read on the CNN website that reported the black Friday. Unfortunately I missed it!!! But I am not the person that addicted to spending money so I is not a big deal for me.
ReplyDeleteI did not go shopping at the Black Friday because I thought it would be many people and very clouded . But I went shopping for a few days after the Black Friday . They had many discounts too . I have bought a lot of favourite things . But I saw a video about Black Friday on Youtube , it was very interested that lots of people competed the goods with other people. So next year , I promised myself I must go shopping at Black Friday to feel the shopping mood !

ReplyDeleteI went to New York for Thanksgiving vacation, so I certainly got the feeling of crazy for the"Black Friday". I went to The 5th Ave. for some shopping first. There were so many people in every boutiques. It was really hard for me to walk along the street! Then I went to the 7th Ave. which Times Square locates. There are also some shops, which also gathered with so many people. I felt people crazy for shopping. So I quickly bought things I need and got to my hotel as quickly as I can. After all, it's so hard with so many people shopping. And although was about 40 percent to 50 percent on sale, I think it was not worth shopping with so many people on that crazy day.
ReplyDeleteI experienced the “Black Friday” last year. For this year, I went to Boston for my Thanksgiving vacation with my friends. I love shopping in my free time, so I went out for shopping on the”Black Friday” again. At first, we intended to go shopping at midnight and we did that indeed, but none of the stores were open in Boston at that time, so we came back sadly and went asleep. After about 8 hours sleep, we went to stores again. There were so many people but I bought many things which I need. On the halfway, the things were too heavy that we must come back to our hotel to put things down and then went back again. I love the feeling of shopping especially it was on sale! We walked for so long until we got tired. So for me, the”Black Friday” was happy and with good memory.
ReplyDeleteI went to New York last few weeks.I cannot forgot that Black Friday,that was a crazy day,we went to Time Square,on normal days it is very crowded.Even that was Black Friday,you can imagine how crowded that was!Every store was offering sales and special deals on that day.so a lot of people appeared at a same time in a same store.I was shopping with my friends for 5 hours,the important thing was I like shopping.We went different types of stores and bought a lot of nice clothes,shoes,scarf,that was a really wonderful night.

In that day people also do some crazy things,the weather is cold but they are also waiting for the store open until midnight, many Chinese like buy some luxury things such as LV(Louis Vuitton),Hermes,Giorgio Armani and so on.But I don't like shopping during the Black Friday, It's so crowd.

As a normal person also a general shopper, I am 100% love the big sales day like "The Black Friday." I am a shopper; absolutely I am an emotional shopper. When I stand in the Mall, I can't stop and even can't control my shopping desire. The different situations will change my feeling. Anyway, in "The Black Friday" there are a large amount of the great deals for our customers. And the stores like Wal-Mart, Target, and Best buy. They will open earlier and close late. The stores want to stimulate people's consumption desires, so many advertisements about the big sales before the actual "Black Friday." I read the news; they said in every "Black Friday" it will happen some accidents. For example: stampede and fight. It sounds like the irony to the Thanksgiving Day! In Thanksgiving Day we will say blessing and the whole family will stay together and celebrate this really traditional holiday. The next day of the Thanksgiving is The Black Friday, before these years the stores won't open until Friday morning, but they changed the policy. The stores are all open at the midnight, which means we just say blessing to our family then we will become a crazy guy and join the big sales day. There are much news is talk about the Black Friday accidents, the issues are bloody, sad, and also make me realize. Some boys will fight each other for a cheap XBOX or PS3; some girls might fight each other because of a cheap skin care. In some point, I think Black Friday makes many people lose their senses. So the great deals are good, but we need find the way to make sure it's safe and peaceful during that day. No one wants to lose their family members on the next day of the Thanksgiving, and just tell you guys a small tip. In Black Friday, there are also many great discounts online. Online stores are never have less value than retail stores, so be aware to use online store more frequently. Be safe, healthy and make sure we are set in the moral high ground. The big sales will happen more, the stores want people are buying staffs all the time no just on Black Friday.

I went shopping on "the Black Friday".A lot of things were on super sale that day.There was people everywhere in every stores.And the lines in front of the cashier were very long.I bought a pair of boots for only $13!But I spent more than half an hour waiting in the line.

i went to shopping when it was thanks giving day.i went to new york,it was many people there,every market were full.we went to the Empire State Building.this building was very high, we went to the highest floor of this building at night, all of the new york night view that we can saw,it was very beautiful,but there was very cold,cloud was really heavy and i just wear a shirt so i get cold next day.but it was really exciting that hire on the top of the building.
ReplyDeleteI went to New York during Thanksgiving. The day after the Thanksgiving, that is black Friday. I did go to shopping in SOHO street during black Friday. I even woke up at might-night and queued up for the store opened. It's quite surprises me because most of the stores were opening at the might-night. I did buy a lots of stuff on black Friday. I loved it so much, although i felt very tired on that day.

I went to New York during Thanksgiving break. Before that I heard about how crazy Black Friday is,but I didn't believe it. In this holiday,I had a profound impression of Black Friday.At the night of Thanksgiving day,there was a lot of pedestrian on the street.It was very crowded.There were very long lines outside of stores because of the big sales.For me,it was a good time to shop.I bought a computer in best buy and a lot of daily necessities at 5th Avenue. Interestingly,when I showed my student ID to shop assistant,he told me that our school's band would perform in Time Square.
ReplyDeleteThe black friday was so excited! I waited in a line for bestbuy sale from 11pm until 1 am with my friends. It was very cold during the mid-night. But it was amazing! There were lots of American there and we talked with each others when were waiting. Finally, one of the friend- a Japanese guy,bought a TV. My old friend bought a playstation 3, a monster , and something else. Although I bought nothing, I still very happy! It was a great experience. Though I went to sleep after that, I also got up when 11 am. I went to a wonderful mall with my friends! I bought some gifts for my family and friends.And I also bought lots of things for myself haha, though lots of things I bought didn't on sale. I love shopping! We also ate a great sushi dinner.The black friday was an unforgettale memory I have ever had!

I went to the Mall and i had shopping with my family and friends it was cool for me.In Russia we don't have black Friday but now i know what is a mean black Friday ,a lot of people had fun and very happy because in supermarket all not expensive.It was crazy because i never saw it ...

Black Friday was interesting for me i liked it and i want have Black Friday one more time.
During the black friday, I went to 3 big shopping mall in detroit. These shopping mall opened at 0:00, but I think I don't have enough energy to be crazy at that time. Then I chose to sleep and went to the shopping at 6:am. There are lots of people and much more than I imagined. Most of the products has a low price and catch the customers' eyes. I bought two coach bags for my friends and I believe they will be happy. In fact, it's my first time to see so many people in the United States. For me, I trust the black friday is the best shopping festival in the United States.

ReplyDeleteAll prices are reduced. They bought a lot of things. I regretted because I did not go to the shopping. I can't tell you a lot about this day. I know it is crazy day. Everyone wants to buy something. In every shop it was a big crowd. All things were worth very cheap.
In Russia we don't have day like " Black Friday ". I think it is a great opportunity for business because person who has his own shop can buy some things and then he can to sell it more expensive.
I am disappointed because I didn't go. Next time I will go.
The black Friday was so crazy. Actually i don't like shopping with my people.the crowded people make me feel anxiety. so this thanksgiving i went to shopping before the day, i hate compete with people for this. so when store have some sales i do not usually go there. ReplyDeleteActually,I didn’t go to shopping on Black Friday,but the day after Black Friday.I don’t want to go shopping on Black Friday because I think there were a lot on people on streets.People were very crazy on that day.They came out at midnight.They didn’t sleep for a night.They used all night to buy goods.Even so some people still can’t buy things what they want to buy.So I think it’s very uncomfortable for me to shopping on Black Friday.I like shopping,but I never go shopping like this.I like going to shopping at a quiet place and I like choosing goods by myself.I don't like salesman come beside me and help me to choose.It's nervous for me.
ReplyDeleteIt was my first Thanksgiving Day holiday in my life. I went to New York to enjoy my Thanksgiving Day holiday and I have a great time here. As everybody know, one of the most important things to do in New York is shopping especially in the Thanksgiving Day holiday. Luckly,there was a Black Friday during this holiday, the most of the purchase in the NYC was on sale. But I knew that there would be too many people go shopping during the Black Friday, so I didn’t go shopping at the Fifth Avenue that day. Instead,of go shopping at the Fifth Avenue,I went to the Outlets in New Jersey, where have cheaper purchases and less people. At this Black Friday, I heard that the people were crasy to shop, most of my friends went to Fifth Avenue to shop, some of them enjoy their shopping trip and bought lots of purchases, some of them said it was terrible to shop with too many people. I think shop in Outlets was enjoyable,and I also got many purchases what I want, I am looking forward to next shopping holiday.
ReplyDeleteThis Thanksgiving, I went to my friend home in Buffalo, we went shopping at “the Black Friday” night. I was surprised by the people who wait in the queue in front of the Bestbuy and Target. I never see so many people since I come to here. We went out at 12 o’clock, I am so exciting that go shopping at this time. It was a very fantastic experience, although I didn’t buy anything at that 2 hours, because I will wait for a long time in every shop to buy something. I went shopping again at 1 p.m. that day, this time are less people than mid-night, and I bought many things for my parents as the gift. I really have a good time this “black Friday”.

Like when i bought new gloves for hockey i was so happy like i felt like i bought a new car. When i was young i hat it so much but now i know it is good or if we are going with person like a very good friend or someone then it's funny and good. It's like killing time sometimes. I wasn't go shopping on Thanksgiving or black friday because i don't need something new. I will go shopping probably in Slovakia cause i know where is my favorites shops in my city.
ReplyDelete"Black Friday" is a big festival for the people who like shopping, it's very crazy because many products are on sale, and it's a good chance for us to buy the things which are a little expensive but we wanted before. I didn't go to the stores on "Black Friday" , because it's too crowded, my friends didn't like crowd, so we stayed in the warm house, actually I wanted to do some shopping,though it would be crowded, it would be a memorable experience. I dont't like go shopping with others because it will waste a lot of time, but I want to buy clothes with my brother, he will give me good suggestions. Sometimes when I am bored, I will go to the shopping mall and wall around without buying anything, it can make me happy.
ReplyDeleteI was in New York City during this Thanksgiving. This city was going crazy in that period of busy time. Especially the "Black Friday", I didn't go shopping at that day. Because I don't like the crowded circumstance, just make me hardly to breathe. And at that moment, like the picture above, people are full of enthusiasm for shopping because of the discount. And I heard a lot about that people are getting hurt in the crush on that insane shopping night. Another reason is that in that rush situation, you may not have enough time to grantee the quality of the products. So I prepared my shopping lists long time ago, it makes me feel much easier for shopping, always remind me what I haven't bought yet, and won't let me miss my target. I bought many gifts for my parents, relatives and friends in China, and I bought a necklace as a present for myself. I believe I won't shopping until when I back home, because I am going to shopping with my mum, it is one of my favorite activities.

ReplyDeleteBlack Friday is a crazy day that I won't never forget! I was in New York in Black Friday. And I was in Fifth Avenue with Wendy , Cathy and the Nasses. At 3pm. There have been a lot of people waiting for Best Buy at the gate of Best Buy.So, we plan to have a rest first ,then we will come here again in the evening. But the Nasses will go skiing.
ReplyDeleteAt 10pm, we came Fifth Avenue again. I was so surprise that there were more people than the afternoon's. We can't move easily in the street. In Macy's there were more than 9000 people before 12pm. We were looking for the store where we want to buy gifts for our parents. Most of them was going on sale in the 12pm. But we had to choose a store to wait in line. I remember when the gate was open. Everybody rushed into it. Somebody who would like to go downstair just like a rock drop down from the upstair. It was a really really crazy picture. At last , I haven't would like to buy something cheaper than before. I just would like to get something !!! I won't shopping anymore in Black Friday!!
I spent my Thanksgiving holiday in an American family.I experience a pure Thanksgiving holiday.I didn't go anywhere on the Black Friday,but I still could feel atmosphere of the Black Friday.I saw many people shopping in the mall on TV,and they were crazy.The product were very cheap on the Black Friday,so most people will go shopping on the Black Friday.I didn't go shopping on the first Black Friday,WHAT A PITY!Although I don't like shopping,but I think I should experience the atmosphere of the Black Friday,that must be funny to shopping with friends.
ReplyDeleteAlthough the cheap prices are very attractive, I did’t have any shopping in Thanksgiving. The main reason of that because of there was a lot of people. However, during the black Friday. I went to 5th Ave in New York City, the people lined up at 3 even the shops are going to open at 12. I will not willing to line up for that long, I would rather to save the time to have some activities with my friends. In this New York trip, I enjoyed it very much and I think New York is a really good place for teenagers. I wonder I can go to New York again next time !
