The girl is in the painting.

And she can't find her money, the place is too big.

the girl is in a farm, and the farm is in the picture.she is finding mr griffin.she is thinking:where are u mr griffin i will never speak chinese agian in your class.everybody like it because everybody like mr griffin. i like mr griffin too
ReplyDeleteThe subject is a girl takes a look into the distance. She is looking at a house far away from her. She lies on the lawn. She might think:" Where is my home?" The reason why so many poople like this work is it looks good and real. I think it is real, but it would be impossible to see in real life. Because what she wears are old. We are hard to see those wears nowadays.

or she may get hurt, she can't walk, she just can crawl.
possibly, she just seems like me. have a bunch of homework. i almost can finish the ell reading. but a voice told me that, i just can't reach it....
i can see houses , sky , and a girl sit on the grass. The name of this painting " cristina's world " .Tell me every thing that you can see in this painting was her home , and that's all her life about . Some people like it , some people hate it , this girl in this painting may think her life is boring , also , she might just enjoy these things . so, i think , different people see this picture will have different feelings .
ReplyDeleteObviously, there's a house, a farm and a girl in this picture. I think the girl worked hard on the farm just now, and she's hungry. She's looking at the house to think about what lunch she will have. But it's not late enough to go home to have lunch. She thinks that I need to do some more work and go to lunch.

farm, grass, 2houses, girl, the girl is in a farm, and maybe her father kick her out, because she wants to marry with a man who her father doesn't want. the girl is out, but she doesn't want to leave. she is crying, she crying about she never have father and mother, but she also wants to live with her boy friend.

ReplyDeletethat girl must has a step mother ,and the mother has another child , and she dosen't like the girl . the girl's father just cares about his work , so he doesn't discover that his daughter is upset . one day the girl just sits on the field and watch her home , and she asks herself , “am i happy ?”

I love the imagination and creativity some of you are showing in your responses to the painting. I agree with Kiki that the girl wants to return home, but can't for some reason. What could be the reason? You are coming up with some interesting answers!
ReplyDeleteThe girl's family though that she is not useful anymore and they kicked the girl out of the house. Then the girl was very sad and look at her house one more time before she go to the other place....
ReplyDeletei can see a woman crawling on the field, looking towards a house in distance. i think she feels lost. the reason why the famous painting famous is because once the viewers see the painting, the painnting has struck a responsive chord in the hearts of them.

ReplyDeleteit is a very emotional art work.the girl is in a huge cornfield and looking straight at the house far away from her. maybe she's lonely. maybe she is abandoned by her family and the world. she wants to go home,but nobody's home. it's where she lies,broken inside~~
