Journal Question #16
Let's talk about secrets. Are there secrets about yourself that you keep and that you have never told anyone? Are you good at keeping secrets that a family member or friend tells you? Do you think secrets are a good idea? Or is it better to be totally open with everyone - especially people who are close to you? Families often have secrets. But it's also true that information you thought was secret is known by other people in your family. Can you think of an example of that?

ReplyDeleteI don't think that we have any big family secret in my family--or maybe they didn't tell me. But it's pretty excited to keep a big family secret, isn't it??
I'm not a good secrets keeper, because sometime I can not tell which one is a secret which one is not. But when my friend tell me that it is a secret, I will not tell anyone about it.
For my self, all the secrets that I can say to my friends are actually not secrets for me. Because I kown that not everyone can keep the secrets well. If I have my real secrets, I will never tell anyone, even my parents or my best friend.
I think secrets should be kept in our heart. I'll tell my secrets to my best friends. I think best friends can keep the secrets from his or her best friends, but it can't except special time.
ReplyDeleteUh~~ I don't think there are some secrets in my family. I think we should keep some secrets in our own hearts. Some secrets that can't be told to others.
I'll try to keep my friends' secrets. They told me their secrets, it means that they believe in me.

I agree with Leon also my answer is secret. Because secret should keep it secret. Some secret can tell right people

ReplyDeleteI don't like keep the secret for my family,but sometimes i don't want my family worry about me,so i keep the secret for my family.
I like to talk everything with my very good friends.
Secret is not really a big deal for me, because I don't really have some big secret. Even I have one, I may already forgot it. Anyway, I am not really a good secret keeper, except this secret is a really serious or no joke secret. Otherwise, I may share my friends.
ReplyDeleteThere is actually no secrets in my family. Almost everything in my family is open. I don't have any secrets, I tell everything to my parents. Sometimes I am not a good secrets keeper. but if someone tells me one thing and tells me not to tell anyone else, i will keep it as a secret. i don't like to hide something to my friends or family.

And once, my friends told me that if you have a secret that you don't want to share but you still want to tell someone, you can dig a hole in the earth and tell the secret to the hole. It means your secret will be buried under the earth and no one will know it.

ReplyDeleteNo secrets at all, Alexander? That's hard to believe! I like Rita's idea of digging a hole and putting secrets into it - that way you won't be tempted to share them. I wonder, though, if it's a good idea to keep a really important secret; don't you need to share those, if only to make you feel less alone?
