Journal Question #7

What did you think about Thanksgiving?  You have all now experienced an American Thanksgiving - or at least most of you have.  What did you think?  What was your favorite part of this holiday (Turkey, Cranberry Sauce, pumpkin pie, other food, or something besides the food; Black Friday maybe...)?  Write your thoughts about this holiday.

  8. For me, this thanksgiving was peaceful and interesting. I stayed in Amelia's house. Her family was very nice to me. They taught me a lot of things, such as how to make French toasts, marshed potato and apple pies. I felt so happy that I helped them with their thanksgiving meal. On Friday, we got up at four and went many big shops. It was so much fun when I saw so many people in the supermarket trying to get cheap stuff. I read over 100 pages of my book and watched 4 movies. I really enjoyed that.

  9. I think thanksgiving is a perfect festival. It's also my first festival in America and celebrated it with Americans. On that day, we can decorate our friends' houses. It is really fun to make my room different. We can also eat a lot of things. It's also my first time to see Americans cook eggplants. They are really delicious. I also made a lot of friends in Polly's friends' house. We talked about our school life and our hobbies. It's also good for us to practice our English. That's all. I really love Thanksgiving. I'm looking forward the Christmas coming soon!

  20. Thanksgiving means eat and watch football game. What's more, it's a chance to help some poor people.
Actually, I think it's a kind of waste to eat so much and don't finish the food.
As a result, Thanksgiving reminds me don't waste food while there are still some people in hungry.
