What's the best surprise so far? Okay, you've been here for three months, enough time to experience a lot of people, places, subjects, food, activities, etc. So, what has been the nicest surprise for you so far? This could be a person, an activity, a moment in time, even an aspect of yourself that you didn't know before coming to TA. Tell me your best surprise since August.

The best surprise is that my friends gave me a pair of basketball shoes,a cheese cake and a CD for my birthday gift.When i opened the door, they all said "happy birthday" to me and gave me a gift.That surprise is excellent.

ReplyDeleteThe dorm girls held a Party for me and send me a present- a nice tennis racket.

I love hearing about the birthday surprises! As far as "Warcraft" is concerned, I don't know anything about it. Do a lot of dorm residents play it?

I cannot forget this my 18th birthday!!!
I know most of our dorm honeys(?) paid my birthday gift.It was a Ipod~!
I was so moved. Because I even won't spend so much money on this.
So, thanks, full of happiness.
And I was also surprised by TA. I do love the environment. And I treat students as brothers/sisters, teachers as parents.

This is a fabulous beginning of my American life.

Actually there was a lot surprises after I got here. Soccer was one of the biggest surprise, because I had never I will join the soccer team, and also because I had made a lot friend in the soccer team.

ReplyDeleteThe same as Leon.I hold with him forever!What a big surprise it is!In addition,I found out my English doesn't improve since I came here.This is kind of ridiculous,isn't it?I presage my friends will laugh at me because of it.Yeah,the truth is that my Chinese improved a lot.But I do meet a responsible English teacher!
ReplyDeleteI have same opinion as Leon. Because when arrive the dorm the biggest suprise is too many chinese students. But someone says we only have 20 Chinese students, but now we have 36 Chinese students.So I think my english is not improved.This is my biggest suprise!

The people who living saco is the biggest surprise. They are so nice and friendly. They are willing to help me and make friends with me. so I am gald to come to this school
ReplyDeleteThe biggest surprise for me so far is that I didn't realize that I could adjust the new environment so well before I came here. I thought I would meet a lot of problems, such as language, study or how to live by myself. But to my surprise, I can do these really well with little problem. I feel so proud of myself.
ReplyDeleteThe best surprise is from my father. It was a Christmas during my 10 year-old. I called my father to ask what time he would come back today. He said, "it'll be so late. Don't wait for me." However, I waited for him for a long time, then he didn't come back, so I went to sleep. Guess what happened in the next morning, there was a big poster on the wall for Christmas. There are also several gifts for us. I was really so happy. I really love my father.
