Seasons - Journal Topic #2
What's your favorite season? The weather is getting colder, summer is a distant memory, and we've even had a little snow already. It's the middle of the fall which, in New England, is a beautiful time of year with the leaves changing colors. What do you think? Do you like fall? Maybe winter, with its snow and cold temperatures, is your favorite. Spring and summer, of course, each have their fans. Tell us what your favorite season is and why you like it so much. Or, if you can't decide which you like best, tell us about that, too.

ReplyDeleteI don't like raining and snowing very much,because it is very cold.It will let your cloths become very wet.It's uncomfortable.
I don't like very cold weather or very hot weather.
My like a little wind and not a really hot sun,that is very comfortable.I really didn't look the view for the season.
So,my favorite season is summer.It is very strange.I don't like hot day,because it will let you feel very sticky and thirsty.But the more important thing is there have summer vacation in the summer.It is the longest vacation in every year.You can do everything you want.You can go back your home or play many computer game everyday(I wish).HA!HA!

My favorite season is summer,because i like sunny but not cloudy and rainny.In summer,i can do lots of sport,such as swimming.I like swimming!!
Another reason is that i hate cold,and there are many nice memory in summer and lots of painful memory in winter.
That's it.

Here is too cold for me...so i think summer is my favorite season now..Actually i hate cold weather beacuse my hometown is a hot place and cold weather it's unfamiliar to me. Even though snow is beautiful but i prefer sunny day...
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite season is summer, and I believe that I'm not the only student like summer, most of the student like summer, because we can have a summer holiday. And also because I like soccer, and it is a summer or autumn sport. And that's why I love summer so much!!!
ReplyDeleteI prefer the fall here when the sun shine's warm and the wind's cool. I really like these kind of days. it's not very freezing which is like winter. Neither as hot as summer. And it's not like spring that make you feel tired and sleepy. You can do more in fall.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite season is spring. Spring is colourful. In spring , there are flowers everywhere,and the trees become green. I can see the lovely birds and hear they sing the songs of spring. I like spring.

Am I the only one who like winter??
I hate summer! It's too hot and make me don't wanna move at all. I can't leave the air conditioner during summer.
I haven't seen snow for six years, I miss snow so much! When you sit in a warm room and see it is snowing outside through the windows, you'll feel so good~~~

Cold, dry weather is very comfortable.
And, Christmas is during winter, so the holiday mood during winter is awesome.......

I like spring. Because when I was born is in spring. When I was born, it was the heaviest rain during that year. When spring is coming, all the grass becomes green, and new leaves appear. All the birds fly back. It's really a wonderful season.

ReplyDeleteSpring has really good natural scenery...but in summer i can eat ice-cream & go swimming or fun town to play~!They are both amazing~!
But the weather in Autumn is so cool. I can dress up like my style during this time.About winter, I love skiing & ice skating so much!!!! And i don't really like fake snow or ice...feels so unnatural...

ReplyDeleteEveryone knows it's hot! So I can eat many many many many ice cream, cold drink. Maybe it can make me sick, but I prefer it's feeling. IN summer, I can go to the pool, we can practice our swimming skill and see many beautiful girls.

because my name is autumn,and i was born in autumn,and autumn is also the most beautiful season in my hometown.we can see leaves in the streets and the weather is so coooool!!!!!!!
neither hot nor cold.
I like the spring. Because spring is warm season. In the spring we can travel to the other place and we also can enjoy the spring. And in spring we can eat some fresh peach it's nice. Also spring we need to visit our ancestor.

Because in my hometown,we always have hot weather.In summer,our have more than 100 degrees.
And I can dress light clothes.
We swimmmm, eat ice-creammmm and use air conditionerrrr. That feeling is very cool.
I hate cold weather! It will make me sad and no power.
So,summer is my favorite.

That's interesting about visiting ancestors in the spring - April 4th? Also, I notice most of you prefer summer, even though it gets really hot! Annie, do you really enjoy 100 degree weather?
ReplyDeletei like summer most. Cuz the temperature is really high. People may not enjoy staying in an oven,but, that feel better than stay in a fridge in winter. We can wear various clothes whatever u want in summer. We can go to the beach for cool surfing or swimming. Mostly, We can have plenty of ice-cream~yummy!!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite season is summer! Imagine this, in a beautiful sunny day, you hang in the beach hearring the sound of the ocean. That's summer in my mind. Also, summer fills up with energy, and it's the best season for me to do some sports and go out side. Maybe it will be really hot outside, but I enjoy it. All the plants show their life in this season that belong with teenagers!

ReplyDeleteAutumn is the season of harvest and a lot of delicious vegetables and fruits will come onto sale.By the way, it's the best season to eat watermelon.
It's not that hot in my hometown in autumn.The weather is just cool and a little bit wet and we do have a lot of rains.My favourite thing to do is just have a cup of coffee and read a book inside the common room in my house and face to the outside.I can watch and hear the rain and relax for several minutes after reading book for a long time.
Just think about it .How comfortable it is !
